"Why're you sleeping now, Tuari? Shouldn't you wait until tonight while I'm over at your house to do that?" Angie asked lightly, unable to resist combing his fingers through the other boy's hair. It was just..soo soft! whee

"Nn?" Tuari opened his eyes slowly, blinked a few times, then realized what was going on, "Oh! Uh-sorry..." he pushed his upper body up, propping himself on his arms and rubbing at his eyes, "Ah! Sand!"

Angie eeped and pulled Tuari's hands away. "Here, let me," he offered, tugging his sleeve over his hand and gently wiping the sand from the other boy's eyes. "Are you ok?"

After the sand was gone, Tuari blinked and looked to Angelino, embarassed that he'd made himself look stupid. "Uh...yeah. I'm fine. Thanks." He sat up, brushing himself off. "I'm guessing you're allowed to stay tonight? Dad's the only one home tonight, and he doesn't know how to say no, so we're good on this end."

Angelino didn't answer at first, too busy staring at Tuari's face, concern written plainly in his expression. When he finally spoke he replied, "Yeah, mom said it was ok."

Tuari's face split into a grin and he stood up, "Let's go then!" he said, bouncing a little in his excitement. He'd never had someone over to stay before, and it being Angelino made it even better. He didn't seem to notice the worry on his friends face, but he didn't have the longest attention span.

"Well obviously you're ok," Angie muttered, shaking his head and smiling wonderingly at his friend. He chuckled then stood up and bent over, picking up his things and slinging them over his shoulder. "Lead on."

"Told you I was fine. I get stuff like that in my eyes all the time," Tuari said chirpily, taking some of Angel's things from him, then leading him towards the nearby town, where they'd first met.

"Yeah, well, sometimes when someone says they're fine they're really not. They're just trying to make it seem like they are so no one will worry," Angel replied, walking next to Tuari.

"Yeeeeah, but I don't like to lie. If I'm not fine, you'll now," Tuari smiled at Angelino, "I'll be very open with it, just ask ma." He giggled, shifting the things in his arms so he could carry them easier.

"Ooooh," Tuari's shoulders hunched up a little, "Everytime someone says that, it means I have to do something," he was smiling, though, so he wasn't upset or anything.

Tuari grinned and leant his head on Angel's shoulder for a moment, "So, we should discuss this before we get there, do you want the bed, or the floor?...and if you choose the bed, I have to warn you, I may crawl in aswell...I can't stay on the floor for long."

"Either one is fine with me. Though if I choose the bed and you crawl in with me, don't be surprised if you wake up to find me hugging you. I do that with my pillow," Angelino told him, smiling.
