Hisoka nodded slowly. "...do you think... it can wait...? For a little while...?" he asked softly. He didn't... want to think about the Circle and conspiracies and danger and angels now...

"Not like they're going anywhere," Tsuzuki agreed quickly--too quickly, perhaps. "I think," he added on a bit belatedly, before rolling his eyes with a rueful sort of smile, "But let's not do that anymore."

Hisoka smiled slightly in spite of himself before standing and going over to Tsuzuki, needing his partner's nearness right now... Tsuzuki always managed to chase away the thoughts of his past...

Someday, someone will have to figure out how Tsuzuki picks up 'hug me' vibes. For the present, it is enough to know that he picks them up at all and that he was getting them pretty darned strongly from Hisoka.
Standing, relieving his partner of the embarrassment of having to initiate a single thing and not really minding at all, he wrapped his arms around Hisoka in a gentle sort of embrace, the one that can break in an instant.

Hisoka leaned into the embrace, purring quietly. He... really did need this. "...Tsuzuki..." he murmured softly, looking at his partner, green meeting purple in that moment. And those green, green eyes said it all-- 'I... really do... love you.'
((Ok... need to think of something before fluff devours thread.))

Cino glared at the mer tank. "You've been avoiding me," he pouted at the tank.
Now why would you think that? Saki's mental voice asked as the mer lounged beneath the water, working on his newest piece.
"Because if you weren't, you would come up here and talk to me!" Cino's glare intensified.
Do you think so much of yourself, little one? Perhaps I merely have work to do, as I told you before, Saki suggested calmly.
"You've been avoiding me ever since I sai--" Cino started.
Sakirou's hand cut the unicorn off, silencing him with a hand against those soft lips. "None of that-- you don't need to repeat yourself," Saki chided quietly.
"Are you mad at me?" the unicorn asked softly, almost... ashamed?
"No. Not exactly. I'm more... surprised," Saki sighed. "May I get back to work?"
"Tell me what you think!" Cino pleaded quietly. "Please? I can't just..."
Sakirou chuckled quietly. "I'm amazed, little one-- amazed that you're so intent on figuring this out. I've seldom met someone so determined." With that, the mer dove deep into the water.
Cino pouted more, whimpering softly. "But... I do care..."

With kit busy doing Lord knows what, Hijiri decided to take this oppurtunity to visit raven's home. Granted, he hadn't met raven yet, but he had a run in or two with her anthros. Plus, Hisoka and Tsuzuki should be around too, right? The bored violinist would kill for some entertainment right now.
Rocking on his heels, the cat-boy knocked politely upon the door.

It happened to be Hijiri's lucky day-- because Kaine answered the door! And everyone loves Kaine! ...right?
Sulking slightly, the fox opened the door before blinking slightly. "You look like Hisoka."

"I'm his doppelganger," the violinist replied smoothly, giving Kaine a polite bow. "Or, arguably, he's mine. Minase Hijiri, it's a pleasure to meet you, can I come in?"
Hyper, no he wasn't hyper. Hijiri just tended to speak without periods sometimes, even more so when he hadn't talked to someone in a while.

Oh, the boy was clever! Kaine smiled and let him in, more than a little pleased to have someone to keep his mind off of things. "Nice to meet you, Minase-ku~n," the fox purred as he closed the door behind the violinist. "How may I help you~?"

Hijiri returned the purr with an easy grin, stepping into the house. He might be young, but that was no reason to act naive. He had heard about Kaine from Shuuichi, and saw the other fox once or twice before-- it wouldn't be so bad to kill some time right now.
"Just looking for a way to relieve some boredom, actually. I figured I'd drop in on my look-alike, but it seems I might have found something better," he replied, letting his green eyes wander over the other boy. Kaine liked attention, right? Hijiri should have dragged Shuuichi, that would have been interesting...

Laughing softly at that, Kaine gave Hijiri a quick kiss. "Boredom, hm~? Well... I believe your look-alike is spending some quality time with that wolfish friend of his~ So I could give you a... tour... if you want~"

The musicality of the fox's smooth voice sent shivers up Hijiri's spine, the way Kaine almost seemed to sing the last syllables of his words. The violinist could have easily spent the afternoon (or whatever time it was, Hijiri always had trouble paying attention to the time) just listening to Kaine talk, but if Tsuzuki and Hisoka were spending time together, it would be the perfect oppurtunity to tease them both. Two birds with one stone, score!
"That would be lovely, Kaine-san~," the kitten accepted with a purr of his own.
