"Helios, return," Keegan said softly, returning the injured Vulpix to his Pokeball. "It's your turn, Artemis!" the boy called, sending out his good-natured Taillow. Artemis shrieked and flew above them in circles.

"Sludge Bomb!" Randy called almost instantly. Swalot faltered a bit as it moved forward, and suddenly collapsed. Bright red burns were visible on its skin, and mixed with the confusion caused it to faint. Artemis cheered from high in the sky, doing several victory loops although she hadn't really done anything yet. Randy recalled the fallen Swalot, shaking his head slightly. "This last battle should be interesting," he said with a grin, as he threw his last Pokeball into the sky. A small, blue Pokemon, with cotton-soft wings was released into the sky, eyeing Artemis curiously as it flapped its wings, slowly gaining altitude.

"Atemis!" Keegan yelled as loud as he could, startling the tinysparrow awake only a few feet from the ground. She spread her wings and caught herself, stirring up a mess of dust and debris as she flew into the sky, screeching angrily. "Alright," Keegan sighed, smiling. "Give it a Wing Attack!"

"Fury Attack!" commanded Randy, both trainer and Pokemon furious that the lullabye hadn't worked out in their favour. Artemis zoomed in, buffeting the Swablu with her wings and zooming away, narrowly avoiding the attack from Swablu. Her superior speed was a valuable asset in this fight. The Swablu was then ordered to attack with a Peck, and Keegan countered with the same.

The two flying Pokemon collided in mid air, clawing and pecking at each other viciously. Keegan couldn't help but smirk as Artemis landed a critical hit atop the head of the Swablu, and it faltered in the air and began to fall.

"That's it," Randy sighed, recalling his Swablu before it could hit the ground. "Your flier has bested mine."

"Great job, Artemis!" Keegan cheered, and the small bird landed on her favourite perch, his shoulder, and chirped happily.

Mike dashed over to help his friend, "Agh! Are you ok?" he whined, giving Kasiya a hug, feeling guilty she fell just because she looked back at him.

Guilt aside, the group made it to the Pokemon Center. "I've gotta get to Vermillion!" Mike hurried inside, he hated making people wait. ((;D))

"Oh hello, welcome to the Pokemon Center." Nurse Joy was a sweet and beautiful as ever, Mike couldn't help but blush a little.

He lowred the rim of his hat to hide his face, redness creeping up on him. "Would you um-please heal my Pokemon p=please?" The nurse only giggled, accepting his Pokemon and made her way to the back room. Mike walked over to the couch and threw himself onto it, letting out a loud releived sigh.

((I dont find it very practical myself.))

"Fearow! Gust that kitten back!" Winona shouted, knowing the Meowth would have a long way to fall. Before the cat could reach, the Fearow flapped it's wings furiously, providing some resistance for the attacking Pokemon.

I will not let this puny cat take out my Fearow, it's not happening! Winona folded her arms across her chest, not about to let this fight go easily.

"Hmm.." Ryka said, putting her hand to her head. "Maybe he's just tense from all the pressure.." She finished, shrugging. I hope they can get along.. We're all probably going to the gym tomorrow. Together. Ryka thought. Somehow, Ryka found her thought drifting back to the Relic she and her friends found not long ago. "Wait.. I think I've seen you before. Didn't I see you at the Cherry Blossom Fesitval?"

Aurora seemed to enjoy the attention. She eventually started running around the Center, motioning for Flareon to chase her.

He blinked for a moment. He shook his head. "Doubt it," he looked at Flareon as he dashed around, playing with the Espeon. Kilik wanted to try and shed everything of his past life; his joining the Rockets, any feelings toward Nina that he had, anyone he had come into contact with. The boy crossed his arms over his chest and then turned his gaze back to Ryka. "I don't exactly remember a Cherry Blossom Festival," he lied.

Flareon jumped over a chair, dashing along to play with Aurora, yipping happily.

Winona recalled her now plummeting Fearow, the Thunderbolt doing him in. She clipped its Pokeball to her belt, withdrawing her next one. "My final Pokemon," she spoke softly. "I didn't think you'd make it past Aerodectyl to be quite honest, you didn't look like a capable trainer."

The girl held her last Pokeball tightly, she was unsure of who the victor in this battle would be. I'll just have to use him. She thought, her confidence building slowly. "I hope you brought a good Pokemon with you, this last one is a real heavy hitter! Go Gligar!" She wound up and tossed its Pokeball with force, a mean looking Gligar releasing itself from it's restraint. "Glii." It growled at the Meowth, looking it up and down.

"Earthquake." Winona said softly, knowing the attack would score some massive damage. The Gligar charged up it's claws, ramming them into the ground, a tremor erupting under the cat Pokemon.
