Three weeks. If Arashi had only known that her torture had lasted for two years. The doctors, while she was recuperating back at Ame, could do nothing to help heal her internal injuries... Not possessing the Byakugan eye, they were at a loss of how to treat wounds that weren't so obviously on the surface. Time was only able to heal very little of her intenal wounds...until her onee-sama took her to that miraculous spring. The legendary silver water of Taki, overflowing with chakra from nature, had healed her injuries. But simply thinking, simply remembering the Hyuuga clan's style...made her remember the thousands upon thousands of sharp, relentless needle-like pain all over her body.

The mere memory was enough to make her cringe... And the cruelest part, able to clearly feel the internal organs getting damaged. Arya only managed to consciously endure less than a week. For the rest of her imprisonment, she floated in and out of consciousness... Until the little princess, chancing upon her prison house...took care of her injuries. Medicinal salve, herbal tea...whatever food she could sneak out of the house. Her friend, the only daughter of one of the clan elders not present...off on a business trip with the head of family...could perform basic medical ninjutsu to some extent. The two did whatever they could to make Arya's life more endurable.

Because they did not find evidence that Arya's team were spies, the Hyuuga family did not kill her. Woe to they who did have evidence... Arya shuddered slightly. But they...they had permission to continue with the inquisition. The village wasn't taking any chances.

"They can. But it was...beyond that. The chakra system, even down to the invisible tenketsu. And then...they aim for the tenketsu with their Juuken Kempo Ryuu." And then she added quietly. "A nick is enough to leave lasting damage." A slight pause. "A 360 degree vision...t-the others had no idea..." A strangled sob remained in her throat as Arya clutched her head.

"Onee-sama...it was true that we...did pass bandits. Ryuka and Hiroshi killed them...before we ran into the sentries. Ryuka was shot...in the heart...by an arrow of wind. I didn't see what happened to Hiroshi. He pushed me off the cliff, in an attempt to get me away... But..." Her voice trailed off. To Nakamura, it had probably became pretty obvious that the Hyuuga sentries had easily located her. "...I don't know what happened to Hiroshi...the last thing I saw...he was trapped by a technique involving shadows..."

That'll leave very little hope that her other teammate was alive then. The Nara's Shadow Imitation was often followed by their famous Shadow Neck Bind.

Kaida was silent as she listened to what was being said... she had let go of nakamura as she was told more and more of what people had done to her friend... Kaida felt something deep with in her bubbleing to the surface and filling her whole body. Her smile had faded to a cold serious stare and her eyes seemed to be out of focus looking into something noone else could see as she continued to hear. Her fists were clenched and her body shook, not from fear or sorrow, but from the deep seated furious rage that lived within her... Kaida silently shook with fury now as she continued to listen to Ayra and her mind seemed to be slowly processing more and more.Bad...bad people...evil people...they should be punished....I should punish them...All of them...

Wahotts sensed the anger inside of Kaida...he had sensed it once before...long ago...and even now it still sent chills down his spine and frightened him to his core... Wahotts moved towards Kaida and nudged her with his nose once and she did not react at all. His tail was tucked between his legs and he moved to Ayala and whined. Mama, do you smell that, mama can you smell the anger.... It scares me mama, It's happening again mama.... just like when i was a pup...

Nakamura was doing her best to keep her patience. For the first time, Kusari wasn't actively jumping up and down with joy at the chance of a possible slaughter, it just, didn't seem like him at all. He was talking about waiting for Amadeus to return, but who knew how long that would be? He had Zenjin with him, and Ayala could easily commune with her if she chose to. It was obvious to her, that there was no doubt in her mind that she would take Arya with her. Who else could identify her captors?

"Arya, that's enough. It's alright. You're safe now and I won't let anything bad happen to you while there is still breathe in my body. I understand your concern, but what others pass along is merely hear-say. It's not something I'd like to base my facts upon." she trailed off slightly, remembering how she had been told how the Sound village had changed. BAH! She saw them with her own two eyes. Simple words would not fool her. She would head to the heart of the Hyuuga compound in the Village Hidden in the Leaves. It would only take her a few seconds, having been there many times before to train under three of the previous Hokage.

Her lively eyes changed into a distant, rather cold stare towards Kusari. "You know very well what we're capable of. I trust Ayala to protect the village as she had done several times in Yukigakure. You had no objections to her defending our home, so why are you so fearfull now? She's stronger than she was back then. On top of that, if anything were to get out of control, you're forgetting about his gift that I perfected." Nakamura exclaimed, life flowing back into her eyes. She was of course, referring to Kyoudai's Tranpsorting Mist Jutsu, which Nakamura had perfected into the Mist Warp Jutsu.

Kaida was lucky to be so blissfully unaware of the dangers that roamed within the shadows of the villages. So many things lingered there, just waiting to strike and scar a youngling for life. She was pleased the way Arya seemed to dodge the question... at least for the moment. It was at this moment that Nakamura felt it was time to reveal her own secrets that she had discovered while fighting the Hyuuga clan. "The Hyuuga are not invulnerable. I had fought and defeated several of them. As a matter of fact, one of the Hokage, Rasen, happened to be my sensei for a time. They have a hidden weakness amidst the Byakugan. I had uncovered this secret with an assault of kunai and shuriken. One managed to hit him in his blindspot, which is around the back of the neck. It's true, that Hyuuga should not be fought with Taijutsu... that is, if you don't know what they're capable of." Nakamura said with a wink.

It was clear to her, from how close she was to Kaida, that she was feeling angry. Her chakra showed it. What was strange, was that it seemed so familiar to her. As if an undying force was drawing out her chakra, causing invisible sparks to shoot from between the two of them. "Kaida, be calm. If you trust me, you'll know that I'll get to the bottom of this with your brother. We won't let anything bad happen. I promise." she said with a smile.

Ayala was her usual self, speaking in a motherly tone when Wahotts was displaying his age. He shouldn't show fear from his charge. Wahotts, you mustn't show fear from her. Your fear will only reflect itself upon Kaida. The two of you share emotions and at such a young age, I doubt either of you are able to block the other off when it's needed. You need to be strong, for her and for you. It will be alright, Nakamura is here. She'll make it alright, just watch and learn from her. You'll have to take her place in time. Ayala said calmly, almost as if she knew there was a hidden cryptic message to her pup.

Kusari did not meet Nakamura's gaze back, he knew what had fueled his moment of doubt. Kaida... back in Yukigakure, it seemed so distant and away from much of the world, and there she had had two wolven guardians and an entire village to protect her... here, he did not even fully know the lay of the land. It had been a shamefull moment of weakness and fear on his part. And Kusari already regret it. He steeled his resolve, and took tighter grip upon his sword. "My apolagies I was out of place, I will not make this mistake again. I am prepared to leave at moments notice, as always."Kusari looked once over to Kaida knowing that if they left soon being reunited with her would have to wait till later.

Kaida looked at Nakamura a feeling of surprise upon her face. How...how did she know? "Yes Naka-chan sensei. You'll keep Onii sama safe, and Onii Sama will keep you safe and you can both protect Ayra." Kaida said allous more as if she was reasureing herself rather than instructing them.

Wahotts nodded to his mother though was left mystified by her words...Take her place?...Take whose place? What place is there to take He shook off these questions and wandered up to Kaida nudging her with his nose having sensed her anger ebbing away. He licked the palm of her hand and forced his nose between her arm and her body as if making her pet him.

Kaida giggled as the wet tongue of ehr wolven friend tickled her hand and he rubbed agains her hand. She scratched behind his ears and smiled ... and then a thought occured to her... "OH! Naka-chan Sensei, Kusari sensei, I havent properly introduced you yet. This is my best friend in the whole world. His name is Wahotts and his name suits him well. He protects me and i take care of him." she hugged her furry friend and the wolf raised his head towards the heavens and let lose a short howl as if to show off how he fit his name.

Arashi smile at the scene. It was cute to see Kaida and her wolf be so loving with each other. But inside, his blood was still boiling. The Hyuuga must pay... they caused Arya so much pain, pain she shouldn't have to endure... Arya.... His fist became clenched tightly, betraying his smiling face. He walked over to Arya and sat down. "It's cute, isn't it? Kaida and Wahotts..." He commented. He loved dogs, and that included wolves, too. So, he did his best to smile, and not to show the anger toward the Hyuuga. They will pay... Amazing... after one night, he could care about someone this much. It astounded him.

A cool finger gently touched Arashi's forehead. "It's not right..." She whispered. "One so young shouldn't have to feel...such anger." Her body temperature was much more lower than normal, as a Hyouton clansman, so Arya was more aware to changes in temperature. And the increase in body temperature of Kaida and Arashi from fury...if the uncomfortable spikes in chakra levels hadn't already given that away.

But Arya wasn't just referring to Kaida. She had meant Arashi too.

Meeting her onee-sama's gaze, Arya gave a tiny nod. "Hai, onee-sama... I wouldn't have escaped otherwise." Her onee-sama, who understood her best... Nakamura would be able to draw from that statement alone that either one, or perhaps more than one of the Hyuuga...quite possibly an older clansmen had helped smuggle the child out of the village and Fire Country. As strangely illogical as that thought seemed... She would not say the rest of the story here though...that can be saved on the journey to Konoha.

The world stopped. All sound was muted, except for the sound of Arashi's breath. The only thing that existed was a chill coming from his forehead, and Arya. It lasted only a second. She knew?....How did she... He thought, a realization came to him. I can't hide my emotions?...But... that has become survival for me, since I was very young.... He felt naked, as if everyone could see. How am I going to live, knowing that someone else.... His face displayed an expression of shock..... I'm....Not safe.....

The thought made him cringe. He almost threw up. This time, he was gone. He slapped away the finger that so gently touched his forehead, and he ran. He ran home, without any goodbye.

When he walked through the door, he completely ignored his mother scolding him for being out so late, and ran up to his room. He crawled into a fetal position, stroking his necklace, cringing to himself. He had locked the door. He was muttering... "I'm not safe....I'm Not Safe.... Im not safe...." Over and over. He did not let sleep come until early the next morning.

Nakamura had been concentrating the entire time after her speech to each one. It was going to be draining to take them all to the specific Heart of the Hyuuga compound in the Leaf Village. She had done this in her past, but most of the time, it was merely multiple wolves. This time, it would be multiple people.

After what seemed like minutes, Nakamura let out a rather startled cry as her chakra burst through her body sending out a small circle of wind that radiated out through everyone's legs. Mist Warp Jutsu! she commanded, a swelled picture of the Hyuuga compound swirled around in an open vortex that ripped its' way open in front of her. When the portal had ripped open, Nakamura let out a few heavy breaths.

"Kusari, she's a shinobi now. I hate to say this, but we can't shelter her like a child anymore. I think it's time for her first mission. From the looks of things, it would do her and Wahotts some good." she paused, alerted of Wahott's howl. "I think it will be just the thing to further their connection." she added in a whisper, hinting at the possible effects that could come of a deepened relationship.

"Arya, if you're ready, I have to be the last one. It will seal upon my entry." she said softly, taking a few more deep breaths. Was she really going to take this team to the Leaf Village? Why not? They should be praised for slaying the Fire Master and freeing them of his tyranny. Nakamura dropped the Fire Master's Naginata on the ground beside her, as if something was making it harder for her to breathe. No, it was merely from the sudden burst. It had been a long time since that had happened before. Something is different, I feel it... Ayala. Please be sure to call me if you need anything. I don't mean call me if you are injured, Call me before it gets to that point. We'll come back if things get hairy. Nakamura said to Ayala. She was ready to face the Hyuuga and anyone else that got in her way. Her left hand moved over to the Naginata and took hold of it once more, she was going to need proof of his defeat and would have to take it with her.

((kiri yugami no jutsu) Mist Warp Jutsu- This is a more powerfull version of the Transporting Mist Jutsu. "Arashi-kun..." Arya murmured rather worriedly as the boy turned promptly and fled. She had a pretty good inkling as to what had bothered him. Of course. Her words...it almost made her seemed like she could read minds. She had forgotten to mention how she knew... But she could not go after him right now, there was a job to do. Gulping, Arya nodded at her onee-sama's instructions. This was her first time traveling by a teleportation technique so it was fair to say that she was...well, nervous. Would it be uncomfortable? Though her onee-sama might've mentioned that if it was. Looks like she was expected to walk through it first... So Arya took on a brave front and headed straight for the mist portal.

"Do you mean it Naka-chan sensei? I can come too? " the girl did not wait for a response however, instead she quickly turned to see Wahotts, making sure not to look towards Kusari, she knew that the only reason her brother had ever let her learn to fight was to protect herself, and that the only reason her ninja training had furthered was because taht was what one did in a ninja village. She knew Onii-sama would not want her to go, he would want her to stay and be safe... but Kaida , who could deny him no other request, would defy this one, because it meant she could help, and she could try to do her best to look out for him too. "Come on Wahotts, Let's go before they change thier mind!"

Wahotts was still trying to unravel the mysteries that seemed to be hidden in his mothers words and the words of Nakamura... there was something they knew that Kaida and himself did not... and Wahotts would very much like to know what it was... He heard Kaida call him and vbarked in response rising to his feet and going towards the portal. Kaida got on his back and the two rode into the portal at the same time.. not expecting the sensations that would come.

Kusari noticed that Kaida seemed to avoid looking at him when she went through the portal, he did not want her to go and he had a feeling she knew that. Kusari did not say anything of it to Nakamura though... You can try to fight it but in the end, she fell into the same pit as the rest of our bloodline, we are all destined to be killers. I suppose that at least this way, i can still watch out for her...
"And into the fire go we... I have a bad feeling about this Nakamura... there is something... something that isn't right... but no matter, we will persevere as we always do, no matter how bad things get. After all, after some of the situations we have been in, There are few situations that we wouldn't be able to handle." As he spoke he was drawing out the bandages from one of his pockets, going into hostile territory warranted that he conceal his face to hide his full ferocity from his foes.
Bandages in hand, Kusari stepped through the portal towards that familiar feeling...

If you only knew what I've been through since leaving Yuki... Nakamura thought to herself with a rather distant sigh. They were all waiting on her now, she couldn't let them arrive there without her. She was ready to fight upon her arrival if it came down to it. With her thoughts, being as heavy as they were, didn't weigh her down enough to prevent her from entering the portal. She looked to Ayala, who returned her gaze with a confident look. I know you'll take care of the village as you've taken care of our home. I just don't know if I'm ready to go back to the Leaf Village to find how much it's changed... but... I have to. I'm one of the few that may actually get to the bottom of this. she thought to Ayala as she headed into the Mist Portal behind Kusari with the Fire Master's Naginata clenched in her right hand.

[Exit to Konoha's Hyuuga Compound.
It would be appropriate to have Arya, Kaida/Wahotts/Kusari/Nakamura post in that order in Konoha because that's how they entered the portal]

[Enter from Kusari's hideout/home]

Kaida rode atop Wahott's back with a stern look on her face, as they made their way in through the gates. Both were still a little damp from the chill water in the caves; but neither seemed to care. Kaida scratched her wolven partner behind the ears as he moved his nose to the ground as if seeking out distant, yet familiar, scents. Kaida and Wahotts hadn't seen much of this village the last time they were here. Things had gone by so quickly and before they knew it she, her brother, wahotts, and that pretty lady Nakamura, were being whisked away to a far off place.

Now returning, a tingle went up their spines with the odd familiarity of it. It was a place of good memories that had rapidly lead to more loneliness and pain. The two made their way to the center of an empty square and many eyes lingered on them seemingly curious and suspicious. "Here boy, call them here, If no one comes, then we will try to look a little harder before investigating."

Wahotts nodded when asked to stop, and sat down, letting Kaida slide off his back and stand beside him. He looked at her as if making sure and she gave him another nod. Wahotts pointed his nose to the sky and let loose a long and loud howl. A cry to those who knew him to come to him. A request for aid, as well as a greeting saying he had returned. He had grown much since his given his name. No longer did this young wolf howl for almost any reason. But he still lived up to his name for his cry would resound through the village, causing many to stop and stare for a moment while others would continue to walk about ignoring the sounds of wolves that some had grown accustomed to. "Do you think Mama will be here? Do you think she will be happy to see me?"

"I'm sure if she is here she will be very proud to see how here little pup has grown into such a big strong wolf. Lets just hope they really are here Wahotts..."

Lying in wait near the Kage's office, a pair of deep green eyes suddenly shot open after sensing penetration in the waters that lead into Takigakure's tunnels. The hackels on her back uplifted just enough to show a pinnacle of her readiness to defend the village like she had done so many times before. When the sounds of dripping water; silent to most; echoed to her, she rose up to face this new challange. The only problem was, these people knew the way into the village and didn't get lost in the tunnels. A curious note was brought about to her attention as well as two scents that she hadn't come across in a rather long time.

After her moment of hesitation, the sound she had expected to hear did come. A howl... one that was vastly different that her other pups. Leaving nothing to chance, Ayala parted the mist in front of her, leading a trail from her body through the village and the mist. It's parting left a path to her.

Wahotts, if you need me, follow the path.

It was Ayala's familiar voice that came from a distance. As if she hadn't spoken to anyone from the time of parting; yet; even though her subtlety was soft, it showed a soft weakness. For she had not been in contact with anyone since the severing.
