((Ah...my internet hasn't been working lately...>< I'm so sorry.))
Ah, the teacher responded! This made Mokona's job much easier to find him. All he had to do now was follow the sound of where the voice came from!
Quite pleased, the little fluff ball hopped towards where he assumed Kurogane was coming from. "Kurowan-wan! Mokona has come to greet youuuuuuuu!" he yelled out happily.
After all the students had finished, Himawari listened intently as Flowright-sensei asked them to follow him outside.
Still a little exhaused from her previous class, it took a few moments for it to click in the girl's head that she needed to get up from her seat. As she was about to get up, Watanuki made his way towards her and began to speak.
"Oh, of course!" she smiled, standing up from her seat.

Chiharu grinned nervously at Yamazaki. "It was a long time ago. I think they'd think I was crazy if people started calling me that again!" She looked at what Fai was holding. How can candy and a drink be so messy that we'll need to go outside, she wondered. "Fai-sensei's not expecting an explosion from those two items, is he?" she asked Yamazaki, suddenly regretting it because he might have come up with another outrageous lie.

Sakura shook her head. "Nothing," she said quickly and looked towards Fai. "Although, I'm pretty nervous to see what will happen. He did say he had the tendency to explode things, right?"

Fai laughed a bit at the nervous chatter going on as they walked outside. The teacher then set the bottle on the ground, and the mentos beside it.
"Well, we have to do something science related today. And, you all should pay attention, because this is going to pretty much be your homework tonight. Well, not this exactly, and yes you have homework, but it's easy so I don't want to hear anyone complaining, ok?" Fai smiled a bit before quickly moving on to the next thing, "Everyone's probably going to want to stand about...um, 5 feet away should be good."

Yamazaki opened his mouth to sprout a lie - this time about mentos being made of the same ingrediants as dynamite - but before he could Flowright-sensei spoke up. Frowning slightly at the sound of homework but feeling better knowing it would be easy, he took a few nervous steps back as the blond beamed at them.
"Maybe it IS going to explode," he said, giving the objects a curious look.

Kurogane looked around, frowning and wondering where the voice calling him had come from as well as why it was so perkly and high. Feeling something hit his ankle, he looked down and faced a smiling manjuu bun, complete with rabbit ears and a red jewel on its forehead.
"What the hell are you?" he asked bluntly.

A big built man suddenly appeared in Mokona's view, and the happy creature gave a wave to him. He seemed not to notice and soon walked into the poor English teacher, sending him tumbling a half foot backwards.
Once his posture had been regained, Mokona smiled happily towards him, even after the rude comment. "Mokona is Mokona!" he replied happily as he had many times before that day. "Mokona is also the English teacher. And Kuro-tan is the P.E teacher!"

Sam followed everyone outside. She spaced off thinking about her brother Nick. She really missed him.

Sakura followed the class out and looked around the group once more. Sakura, Syaoran and Tomoyo were in three of her classes already. It was exciting to have made such good friends right a way. She looked up as Fai spoke and she backed up far enoug, staying towards the front of the group.

Eriol stood amongst the groups of students as he watched the teacher prepare the experiment.
"Now, pay attention to what I'm doing, as well as what I'm saying. Your homework will be to write down 10 things that you remember from this experiment." Fai said before he set the bottle of soda on the ground and the marbles beside it. From the depths of his coat he pulled out an umbrella, which he opened and held above his head with one hand.
"Now, I'm going to demonstrate to you today the process called "nucleation," in which the chemistry of the Mentos candy interacts with the chemistry of the carbonated Diet Coke, causing the carbon dioxide gas, or CO2, to suddenly come out of suspension in the liquid and make a break for freedom!" Fai said with a grin, "In short, it will create a bit of a...soda geyser. There's a cascade that happens with an ion exchange. Basically the Mentos start to dissolve, and it's like tripping a switch. It's a cascade where all of a sudden, all of the CO2 that was contained in the liquid is suddenly not as attracted to the liquid as it was before, because of this slight change in the chemistry that occurs. It's probably the funnest chemistry thing that you'll ever see." Fai began unwrapping the mentos and he uncapped the bottle.
As soon as the bottle was uncapped he slid the mentos into the bottle and he clutched the umbrella close to him. Moments later the contents of the bottle shot up and out, at least ten feet into the air, before coming back down in a bit of a rain shower.
Fai laughed and then stood up, shaking off his umbrella, "That, is what we would call a chemical change. In other words, do not eat mentos and drink diet coke at the same time....

Sakura nodded as Fai mentioned writing down 10 things they remembered. She immediatley paid close attention. No way would she allow herself to fail on te first experiment. As Fai-sensei began talking about diet Cola and Mentos, she blinked. She became curious about what the teacher was talking about. Her eyes widdened as the geyser of Soda erupted. Her mouth formed a smiled and she laughed sligtly. "That was amazing!" She chimmed, unable to hold in her excitement.
((I love Mythbusters! My sister and her friend did that experiment in our backyard. I was going to also, but they were having too much fun and used all the mentos. ))

(mythbusters=my bffs. XP I want to try it, but I'm going to stay away from it for a while. Especially because I'll probably do it in my house without thinking and stain something.)
Eriol watched in amazement as the soda erupted. He had seen many things similar to this, baking soda volcanoes for instance, but none quite as fantastical. "It really was." Eriol added.
"Well," Fai began as he closed up his umbrella, "I'm glad that you liked the experiment." Fai grinned. Especially because it took me all morning to figure out how I would grab the class' attention on the first day

Sakura smiled and nodded. Se absolutely loved it. She raised her hand. "Fai-Sensei! What would happen to you if you drank some Diet Coke and ate Mentos?"

"Er, well..." Fai began, scratching at the back of his head, "It would have the same effect basically..." Fai laughed nervously, "It would explode in your mouth and either come out your nose or out your mouth...So, I don't know if you'd want to try that." He added with a grin.

Yamazaki watched with fascination as the experiment was performed. For once, truth was stranger than fiction! A thousand new stories ran through his head, each of them inspired by the demonstration and eagerly waiting for the opportunity to be unleashed on an unsuspecting audience. He would have no trouble with his homework tonight.
