Gray was sitting in the cockpit. leaning back with his eyes closed...It looked like he was merely taking a nap....
He wasn't. the fact that the inverse drive was pulsing a red-purple glow in a rythmic pattern...
Gray had heard Kayako's lament about being deviod of Xelien's location; and the dispair-inducing conclusion about dying. Gray wasn't about to give up so easily, and he had a link better than all Meri's hacking powers....
In the viod of darkness that spread before his closed eyes, Gray recalled the moment in Warusawa where he'd believed Xelien to have "hacked" into his head, effectively producing a halucination as a means of comunication.
At that same time, on that Ship, Gray had felt Kayako's presence, and been able to sense it to a limited degree...
If he could combine those, and controll it....
Mercury; help me....help me find it; show me...
Gray suddenly felt like he was sinking, and strange patterns started to form in the dark...
Yes....those are....
The lines profilerated rapidly, tranforming to a vast mesh of greens, reds, and blues spanning a green-tint sky spattered with clouds.
Where is it? The one signal, the one that....
....Thump.
...Thump...
Like a heartbeat, Gray suddely felt a pulsing in his chest, glancing down at his "body"-more accurately, his projection inside his own head.
Pulsing softly, a red-purple mix of energy shot out, snaking out among the clouds and darting around like a living thing.
Yes! The inverse drive's signal!
Gray's eye's flashed open, the Red X present agian in them after a several day abscence.
"Yes...how fitting, Xellien-I can trace you with your own device, just as you can Trace me..!"
Gray remarked to the air with a vengefull smirk.
Even now...
Thump, thump...
The Driver pulsed, pulling him allong the signal's beam. Gray grinned, then hit the hatch release button, Standing up.
"Kayako....I think your distress is to early. I got Xellien; that slimy rat..."Gray declared with dark smile, motioning to the driver; a purple-ish spot of light on his shirt...

Rain felt like doing something she normally never did before. Since there were not any people around her, she decided to do it. Normally, she kept it inside her head, or just hummed it softly to herself. And what the thing was she decided to do was sing.
Strumming a few notes and chords beforehand, she started out a song that she always thought of. She had known it for quite some time since her first memories of life in the Foundation. She could never quite figure out how she knew it; she just did. She felt like she could really connect to the song because all the time in the Foundation she wish she could just escape; to "fly away" from it all.

((Teehee... I was just thinking of that song and I'm bored and typing out a long, exhausted post is a great way to waste time!! ^____^ That song's in O Brother, Where Art Thou? Great movie, as Tolly knows. razz ))

Medri read throught the data on his computer one more time, then Removed it and put it into a separate data box. He did so, so that it could not be hacked by anyone that went into his LFO. He locked the box under the seat of his LFO and now he just sat in there stairing off into the distance.

Kayako felt something hurting her again...hurting like it always did. But it wasn't because of her. She hated it when Gray thought things like this, it always made the stupid drive start flashing and made her chest hurt. Why did that b*****d have to make it so she felt all the insane things that went through that boy's mind?
"Gray calm down...we'll track him soon..."
She wanted badly to claw that damned thing out of her, just like animals who chewed off their own limbs to escape death in a hunter's trap. And she would've too, had the stupid thing not been so close to her heart that she dared not try to remove it.

Medri sat in his cockpit his eyes narrowing at the sight in front of him. What a great pain he was putting them thourgh! He wised he had never gone to that place and downloaded the data. Then he sat back in the cockpit and closed it up, he could still see out and he found himself stairing at Asuka. "No way the army will let her go that easy, once they find out she is still alive they will definatly come for her."

After Rain finished the song, she stared up at the sky. Not much was going through her head, and she pretty much wanted it that way. She listened to the sounds of a breeze blowing the treetops, fish splashing in the lake, water laping against the shore and rocks, reeds and grasses. Breathing in deeply, she let out a sigh, feeling a little relieved. She finally had flown away from that prison. She was finally free, and she had two, mainly one in retrospect, people to thank for that. Plus one large being of an entirely different kind.

You know your gunna burn a hole throught the screen stairing at the girl like that! Medri jumped up and hit his head on the roof of the LFO.
"You shut up! It's none of you bussiness."
Ya sure it's not kido, it's only the fact if you get distracted we both go boom!
"Ya I know that It's no big deal! I am just worried that the army might come back for her is all"
OOO and why does that bug you emmm?
"Like I said shh!" he got of the LFO and started to walk towards the lake, Jenny was being Annoying right now.

Rain glanced down at the water hitting gently against the rock. Reaching her hand to her foot, she slipped off her blue colored boot and slipped it off, then did the same with the other. She reached her legs down and slipped them into the water. A cool feeling rushed up from her feet and up her legs a little. She began to make close circle movements in the water, watching as it rippled out from her ankles.

Medri walked around the last tree and saw Rain playing in the water. "O hi, I guess the two of us have yet to really say hi right?" He stood not far behind rain looking over the water his hands in his pocket. "Do you hear your LFO talk to you?"

Rain looked up from her feet and at him. She just stared at him with that over-done look on her face. "No, I suppose not," she said to the first part. And for all intents and purposes, let us say she did not hear the last thing he said.

"If I have it," she said calmly and with no mock in her voice, "it would make sense that I did play." She looked around a little awkwardly, then back at her feet, which she was swinging back and forth in the water.

Rain cocked her head in a puzzled away, still looking at the ripples. "I don't know," she said. "I've never done it before." Life in the Foundation was very sheltered and deprived. She was lucky to even know what swimming was.

"WHHAT!" Medri slapped his fore head. "I will be right back." He left and came back not to long in his swimming trunks. "Swimming you know THIS!" HE jumped into the water.. it was a litte shallow and he ended up grinnding his face on the sand a bit, then he quickly stood up again. "I'M OK! but don't do that!" Then he went deeper and really started to swim.
