"Well, you know Haru-nii, and your WAYY more like him than I am. But... He just seemed so cold lately. Not like the Haru-nii before we went on our mission- and OW OW OWWWW!!! Thats mean!"
Aoki whincing in pain before collapsing under her sister's weight. She looked up, and say Izumo.
"Oh... You... I don't hate you anymore. Sister was sad and you made her happy; But this doesn't mean I'll like you! In fact, I still dislike you with the utmost passion!" Aoki glared, pointing at Izumo while trying to breathe under her sister.
Aoki looked up at Shinobu. "Shin-onee-chan! I have to go make some food! Wanna come and help. He can help to... If he wants, but I need to do something to make Yul-sama feel better about having to take care of Haru-emo-pants!"

((I am so bored...)) ((Tsu; Put yourself somewhere you'll get noticed then! Thats what I do. Though... The whole Haru thing wasn't exactly my favourite thing to get involved with... =.= )) [Tsu's right.] Taketo idly continues to stay put on his perch on top of the theatre getting lost in some fantasy world of his. He looked in the distance as if he could already see some events begin to untwine, but nothing was there besides the forest and the river of bodies meandering through it. It was as if Tomoyo would never come back...
"Geez...what am I thinking..."
Taketo took in a deep sigh, contemplating on his thoughts, trying to gather some sense to him before another war waged on without him. After all, it seems missions have died down since his return.
"I'm not really much help anymore. I always seem to be gone, but I enjoy being out here and being able to relax once in a while...what a day..."
He sighed deeply again as if half-expecting to see her come running through the forest back into the theatre. His whole sense of security nearly foreshadowed his own personality.
"Geez...I've been feeling a little strange lately...I'm having these wierd thoughts and recurring illusions. And now I'm talking to myself..."

"I..."
I'm like Haru?
Shinobu's face flushed red for the second time that minute, she even paused in her physical of her kid sister to fantasize for a moment. Images of her and Haru together, it was almost too much to imagine. She knew he was never to hot on... being around her... but it wasn't like Haru repelled her, he just... liked to be alone.
"I'm not like Haru at all." she proptested, re-positoning herself beside her sister, instead of on top. "Come on, you know that."
She smiled at Aoki.
"Although, I agree with you in the case of Yul, he's been very helpful to both of us, [More than they know, he also saved Kitty.] and he deserves something for his troubles."

Hamani rushed forwards, between the branches of trees that clung slightly to her outfit, jangling the fabrics.

"You're right..." Haru said with a bit of a dry taste in his mouth. He knew it was the truth, he was just so seperated from reality that he forgot about the others in a sense. Haru opened his eyes. It felt like strain was actually lifting from his body. The pain arrows that pierced his body a while ago seemed to vanish as if it wasn't a physical pain at all but an emotional pain. Haru turned to Yul. "My rantings must be a burden to you. I haven't actually spoken this much to someone... for such a long time." Haru made a small attempt to laugh for a few seconds but it only came out as a small chuckle. "I guess it's probably because I'm just a bit tired." Just a few more hours and I should be back to normal...

((Eh? Action?! Where?! *perks*))
Tomoyo whipped her head around, searching for Suki. A phantom blade cut into her cheek as she cast her eyes around. With a grimace, she cleanly sliced the illusion into two as the cut healed in the blink of an eye. This was getting ridiculous.

Butterflies patterened the air and Aoki looked at her sister.
"Well, yeah. You have to admit, your more like him than me. I am the OPPOSITE of him. I'm a social butterfly, and he can't create a sentace with more than eight words that doesn't have sentance fragments."
((Don't worry Haru. Just a little inside joke about Debs' x-boyfriend.))
Aoki smilled. "Maybe after all this is done, Tao-aniki-sama, Suki-kun, Yul-sama, Izu-bozu, you, and me can all go somewhere nice for a while. In fact, maybe everyone! Like, a bath house, or a rich city! We know we have enough money! And if some of us don't, I still have my treasure pile in Aniki's basement too!"
Aoki squirmed ouut from under her sister, and stood up triumphantly. "Lets cook!"
'Oh dear... I'm not such a good cook...'

[Shush 'bout him. He was never my boyfriend.
And there were far more problems with his speaking.
We asked him to make an eight-word sentence.
His was; "Le Gaara is small. Pointyness is good."
Where to start?
'Le' is not an english word, 'Pointyness' is not even a word, that's two sentences, not one, and only seven words, not the reqiured eight.
He failed.]

A part of Shinobu sagged at this, she'd actually kind of liked it when Aoki had been pressuring her into going and spending time with Haru. She wanted to be near him, even if it did make her uncomfortable and nervous, but she couldn't offer to go and keep him company, no, that would be too obvious, she needed someone else to be guiding her into it, so that she appaeared not to be to willing. And now Aoki wasn't interested in that anymore, just cooking.
Shinobu despised cooking, all the ingredients and rules and maliculous actions, and the patience, oh the patience she couldn't STAND cooking.
She grimaced.
~~~
Yul hinted to a faint smile, finally, someone had admitted that Yul was right about something, anything! Usually he felt as though all of his advice was being merely tossed in one ear and out the other, like spewed nonesense, that no one was going to use, and finally someone had actually listened to him. It almost made up for all the times people had deemed what he'd to say unwanted or innacurate.
"Thankyou, Haru." he said, not wanting to expalin to Haru why, exactly, he was thanking him, just letting Haru assume that it was for saying that he would stay, which was somewhat true. "And don't sweat it over your problems, you're just not a social as some people, it doesn't mean you can't fit in. In fact, just by being an immortal you already do. Of course... that's not a great way to fit in, merely classified in your condition, like being in a psycho ward, or halfway house. I'm rambling aren't I?"
Taketo heard some noises in the distance, sensing something amiss. He quickly jumped from his perch and shot into the forest with blinding speed, nearly dodging trees that uprooted in his path. As his vision started to focus on what was ahead of him he saw a soldier attack Tomoyo, then she struck back, seemingly doing nothing to it. Taketo peered forward and hopped off a tree to give him a little extra boost as he rocketed toward the soldier and swiftly sliced him in two. He then spun around and stuck his feet on the ground to slow his force and he stopped a little ways from the soldier, sheathing his sword and taking in a deep breath. He stared back, seeing the soldier was already in a battling stance, perfectly healed. He grumbled and became frustrated at his failed attempt. Taketo quickly struck again with the same swift strikes, but they were merely blocked by the illusionary warrior. The warrior hit him back and struck a little slower than he was, but with stronger momentum. He quickly blocked and sliced the warrior to shreds in a few quick slashes. Taketo stepped back as what was left of the warrior crumbled to the ground.
"Hopefully that will end him. He was beginning to agitate me."
Tomoyo blinked, eyes widening. "T-taketo-san-" she managed to get out before having to contend with yet another mirage. Taken off her guard, she swung with less control than she would have preferred, clipping the side of her opponent's sword before twisting to bring down her own weapon on the c***k between helmet and armor. The number of soldiers was decreasing, but whether it was because they had been hacking through for so long, or Nia had been unable to create anymore was anyone's guess. In any case, she got a short break.
She turned back to Taketo. "You...should go back to the theater. Please," she said with the faintest note of pleading in her voice, overlaid by the coldness bloodshed bestowed. Don't get mixed up in this mess.
"I can't do that..."
Taketo was suddenly rushed by another soldier, which he quickly illiminated with a side-stepping strike. They seemed to keep attacking him before he could get the other half of hi sentence out. Taketo noticed a soldier about to strike Tomoyo from above and quickly jumped in the air and hacked him away. He swiftly landed behind Tomoyo, with an fixed look. He wasn't about to leave her here all by herself.
"...unless you are to come with me."
(( Gotta love missing a day of posting time. Blech. ))
"Izu-bozu? I'm guessing she's talking about me... doesn't seem to fond of me, either. Shinobu, uhm, who is she? And did I do something wrong, to offend her?"
Izumo stared wide-eyed at Shinobu, having trouble understanding the situation.
(( Sorry for making that short. I'm drawing a blank when I try to think of what to do. Blech. ))
Nia could feel and hear them coming, more and more warriors she could feel disappearing. Hamani and Tao were ahead of Tomoyo and Suki, but it would not take any of them long to reach the center of the altar where she had decided to wait for them. She thought about her opponents; all trained fighters more skillful then any other on the planet.
Tao toe weapon master would be a strong opponent, but his skill lay mostly in physical attacks and weaponry, and although his mental abilities were not to be underestimated she thought she would be able to down him. Then there was Tomoyo; thoughtful at first but deadly when she came into action. On the other hand, Nia reasoned, she might be persuaded to change sides. Suki, the dreamer, looked so cute, so harmless. But Nia knew different, the thinker he used to be was still there, but he had also become a trained warrior. Although he might seemed the least strong between the three, Nia thought different about that; he was a mix of two styles, highly intelligent but strong at the same time. What he lacked Nia decided was a strong mental defense, something that was grandly in her advantage of course.
And then there was Hamani. Nia knew nothing about her, she could only feel her aura weakly because of the strong mental barrier. She was a mystery to Nia, and Nia didn’t like mysteries. Mysteries could turn against you, could do unexpected things. And although all thieves were mysteries by themselves they could be analyzed, sometimes even understood. Nia had spend countless weeks, maybe even month doing just that; observing her fellow thieves, understanding what drives them, making notes of it, until she felt she knew enough. It was a good thing she had, it mend she knew who she was dealing with. But of Hamani she knew nothing, she could be stronger then Nia could ever imagine, or just making it seem that way, hoping that she could get away with it. Nia did not know, it did not matter anymore, there was no time to find out, or actually there was, it would happen the moment that Hamani threw herself into battle with her. She would know, she would know it all, but then it could be too late to act against it, to late to brace for powers that could be unleashed.
Nia shook it of; she could feel that they were close now. She also felt that more people were approaching then the four she knew about. That could be a good sign, it could also be a bad sign. She sighted; what had she got herself into. She got the arch-mage’s ring from her pocket and put it on her finger. She could feel the powers in it, the strength it would give her, would it be enough? Probably not, maybe against two thieves it would suffice, but now it wouldn’t. A last look around before she jumped forward, moving in the direction of Hamani.
Shinobu looked at Izumo wide-eyed, and then smiled.
"My sister, Aoki." she said, gesturing towards the gurl sat beside her. "I thought you knew... but... now that I think about it, you really haven't spen much time with my sister..."
She'd spent a lot of time with Izumo in the past, probably second only to her sister, which was something to say. But... she couldn't remember even once that Aoki and Izumo had been with her both at once, they almost seemed like two seperate parts of her social circle, no one Aoki seemed to feel a sense of resentment towards Izumo.
It was all clearly foolish.
"Let's... go round up Yul and sort things out, whatever's going on out back, I want no part of it, and i'm sure that there are plenty thieves enough out there already dealing with it, so there's no need to overcomplicate things. Although..."
She remembered someone she'd seen on her way out earlier.
"Melora's out there, and it's... starting to rain... I'm going to go see if she'd like to come inside from the rain."
She stood up slowly, almost stopping to wonder why she even care that someone who'd given her so much strife in the past was even worthy of her pty, but Shinobu couldn't help it, she just naturally felt that anyone was worth considering. And it was starting to rain, that was obvious by the water droplets now streaking down the window-blinds.
