Kana nodded, gazing around slowly. There was a huge difference between this water and that of the hotsprings. She'd known that from the beginning but now it was extremely evident. She had to say, she liked the springs better. At least it had an edge for her to cling to. Right now she was simply clinging to his hand as her widened eyes continued staring around for a while longer. Then she glanced back at him, giving an uneasy smile. "I mentioned I can't swim, right?" she asked anxiously, tail winding nervously around her waist.

Koichi smimply chuckled to himself, before taking a step closer to her. "Well then, guess you would rather be on land?" he questioned. AH, yes! PICK HER UP! THAT'S IT, DO IT! WHOOPIEE! the voice chimed, jumping up and down. After a moment, Koichi had bent down, arms arched, intending to pick Kana up. "How bout a ride, Kitty?" he laughed. He knew he'd have to be a lot more carefull when he started back up onto the land; if he fell, there would be a huge problme.

Kana blinked, bowing her head but lifting it again as she saw the water right there. "E-eh?" she began, a bit startled from almost plunging her own face under. "I-I mean, I guess so... But it would be a waste after you helped me out here..." She shifted slightly, partly just to unstick her feet from the sand. In her mind, she kept picturing it swallowing her up, though knew she was just being paranoid. She sighed, freezing at his next question. She glanced up at him, face faintly red. "I couldn't trouble you with that!" she exclaimed.

Koichi had already scooped her up into his arms, despite her rejections. "Come now, Kitty, we'll go back onto the land! I don't mind at all," he laughed, smiling at her, before starting towards the rocks again. The waves, suprisingly, seemed to have calmed down, allowing better access up the shelf [earthscience term for the beach thing]. He paused, though, the water halfway up his legs, and looked back down at Kana, once again. "So, having fun over there?" he teased, wondering what she'd do to him for picking her up.

[Bwhahaha, I'm font 1o! xD I'll edit this too. >>;; And I'm fine if you just go ahead and grab her up. ^^;]
Kana froze as he picked her up anyway, her eyes widening again. But she didn't struggle, afraid she'd be dropped into the water if she did. Instead she simply wrapped her arms around herself, tail wound around her waist and ears flattened back. Her face was red as well and she actually looked pretty terrified, though this was simply because of past memories rushing back to her, ones involving her being picked up and then thrown into the water to drown. She shuddered but then looked up at him, shaking her head quickly even though no one had said anything. She forced a smile at his question, one that looked fairly convincing. She didn't want him to think he was the cause of her fear, though he did make her slightly nervous... "U-um, yes..." she said uncertainly in reply.
[I feel like I took forever just now. ><;]

[[uhoh, last post, last post! oh, windy and I won't be on tomorrow, cuz we might go to work... so, we'll be on late xP she says to make sure vampy knows so she doesn't die xD]]
Koichi laughed, satisfied. He made his way back up the beach, through the sand- which stuck to his feet,- and back to the rocks. Gently, he placed her down on one of the rocks, before plopping down on the one across from it. "So, having fun so far?" he questioned, although he knew she had been terrified moments before. You know, at this rate, she's going to be terrified of you, rather than liking you, said the voice in sudden aggitation. Koichi shook it away, though, continuing to smile at Kana. "You know, kitty, I said it once and I'll say it again; you're pretty cute."

[Ok! I'm on until midnight pretty much every night. >>;;]
Kana blinked as he laughed, wondering what he was laughing at but assuming it was probably herself. But she remained tensed, fighting the urge to curl up defensively as he brought her back to the rocks they'd originally been on. She felt herself lowered upon it and brought her hands down behind herself, scooting to a more comfortable position before pulling her knees to her chest and setting her chin upon them. She nodded at his first question, smiling faintly. "Yes," she said softly, though it didn't sound too convincing. You were supposed to swim at a beach, weren't you? But she seemed to have ruined that and was now feeling guilty. She was distracted by his next question, however, and blinked at him. "No I'm not," she replied automatically, closing her eyes. She didn't want to argue, but she couldn't help objecting to that sort of thing.

For once in his life Mikhail felt this emotion, what is it people call? Happiness. He smiled and got up from under the water, still kissing Riiko. He looked down at her when they finished and noticed that his pendant's chain got wrapped and tangled in hers. "Ummm... Riiko. Our pendants are all tangled up." He chuckled at what was all happening on his first day of school.

Riiko laughed, slightly blushing as she tried to untangle the chains, but then her necklace glowed again, and it was brigter than before. Stop it! She thought as she finally got it untagled and then took it in her hands looking up at him wondering what he thought happened.

He noticed her pendant was glowing, and then he noticed she was furiously trying to hide it. "For another day." He smiled and kissed Riiko again, but this time, when he finihsed, he started playing with her hair. It was so soft, and long, and black. He loved her hair, it reminded him of Natis... He felt a stab of pain in his chest. Why was he feeling all these emotions. He suddeny fell into the water.

She smiled at how sweet and understanding he could be, then she freaked out when he fell into the water. She dived back under the water after him to see what was happing. She wondered if he did it on purpose or what, but something told her he wouldn't try to scare her like that on purpose.

He didn't want to move. All the memories flooding his mind made him numb to the pain the water was causing in his lungs. He closed his eyes and felt Riiko's concern for him. That's when the present came crashing back to him. He flet the water filling his lungs, and that's when he blacked out from a lack of oxygen.

"Mikhail!"she shouted as she came up for air only for a brief second as she dived back under. He wasn't trying to move anymore at all, she pulled him and managed to bring him back up. Within a few moments they were both on the beach, "M....M....wake up!"she shouted her eyes alread stained with tears as she kept hitting his chest trying to make him spit water out.

He spurted out the water as he came back to consciousness. He sat up slowly. Now he was on the beach. He must have been drowning. But he didn't notice. "Riiko..." He put his head in his hands on shook hsi head. "What's wrong with me?"

"Mikhail"she said still in tears as she hugged him, she had really thought that he might have drowned, she wouldn't be able to live if he had died that day. She broke the hug and looked at him "M....what happened?"she asked him, she had no idea what happened herself, he suddenly just fell into the water, and didn't come back up.
