ubergeist I want to start the necrons, but everyone seems to hate necron players. Are the crons really as lame as everyone says? No, the only draw back is the phase out

ubergeist I want to start the necrons, but everyone seems to hate necron players. Are the crons really as lame as everyone says? People only hate them because they're Space Marines that get back up when killed. That and the good old Necrons have the best tank in the game. Having troops that can teleport right beside and then tear apart a Land Raider is also nothing to laugh at.

ubergeist I might have to start them up then, I reall like the destroyers. What are they good against? Do you mean the Necrons or the Destroyers? Destroyers are good against pretty much everything. Impressive range, nice strength, and kickass fire rate. On top of that they count as Jetbikes. Yay Turbo Boost!

Oh, straight up 3+ invulnerable saves, you gotta love 'em. I should really pick up some more Destroyers and Wraiths for my army, I work much better with maneuverability than with the static fire power I have now.

its going to be a long wait before you get new crons, you have eldar, orks, dark angels and blood angels (i think they were the other reen chapter) are all on the list and i think i have been told whispers of DE also being up as the xenos race after them, as it stands crons have got a solid codex and good models that dont need updating for a long while yet

Technically speaking there's a huge pile of loopholes and whatnot in it, especially regarding the Monolith. For one thing people keep getting confused as to wether or not the Monolith can fire both the Gauss Flux Arc and the Particle Whip in the same turn. Also, by the current rules, you measure from the weapon when shooting but to the base when shooting at. Now let's look at the size of a Monolith's base. You also use that base when determining wether or not you can see the Monolith.

Unless the vehicle uses a base, like Dark Eldar Raiders or whatever they were called. The local GW staff are actually the ones who told me this.
