J_e_z Lucidity watched her with a smile. "I doubt Arch will admit it though. He'll do anything to make you think he didnt do it. Wouldnt surprise me if he made a double." He told her as he continued walking. "Sure are makin' a hell of a point to make that one." Alloran said, bringing his sword over his shoulder, appearing to rest it there. "Makes it sound like you could be lyin'."

"Take it for what it's worth" He replied. "I'm just telling you what I know. You can choose to believe me or not to believe me. I'm trying to stop the mother from being hurt in a few years when she realizes she's been caring for a child that isnt hers." He didnt let his guard down because he didnt trust that sword, so he continued moving.

Alloran walked as Lucid did, keeping a set distance away, but forming a circle around Ruby. "Ain't it fine how the a** who took the kid in the first place is now tryin' to save her the loss of a child. Yer lies need more thinkin'."

Ruby sat down on the ground, confused. She brought her knes up to her chin and hugged them. "I wouldn't be able to live with it." She glanced up at Alloran, "he's lyin', right Lori? My angel, he wouldn't, he wouldn't, he's got more control over those wings then I do my own arms." Ruby paused biting down on her lip, "but I haven't seen him, an' he shoulda come after me by now. He's always comin to make sure I ain't gettin' myself into trouble, cause I always am."

Alloran said, the flames from his sword licking up at the air as he circled.

Ruby nodded, and rested her chin on the top of her knees. "He wouldn't make a mistake like that, I ain't ever been sliced by the blades, an' I'm always runnin' around, in the way, to the side, jumpin' outa corners. He wouldn't be swingin his blades so recklessly, not when Aaron was involved, he wouldn't." She repeated it again with emphasis, trying to comfort herself with her own arguments. The fear of it was still evident, like any mother would fear, no matter how irrational or unlikely, it was too great a horror not to fear it.

Does that mean every mother fears a drunken angel with shades and bladed wings swooping in and slashing up their child?))

((My mother doesn't even let me near the christmas tree decorations that look like angels and anyone with shades is immediatley pepper-sprayed..... T-T. Nah, but every mother fears losing a kid... or it could just be my mother...who happened to be neurotic when it came to monitoring us little monsters. She had me on a leash....literally, one of those leash things for toddlers, I'm just glad she didn't have an electric fence put up.))

Lucidity sighed. "I saw it happen, and if you didnt cover me with blood a second time, I'd have shown you the kids blood."

((Oh dear oh dear, bad move , you don't try to prove things with blood when talking to a bloodmage. )) Ruby twitched, her voice going rather cold, "an' how much of my boy's blood didya have on you? Cause, sugar, I have a certain knack for knowin' my own blood from someone elses. An the blood of someone I'm particularly close to, like my angel or my baby for that matter, I can us'ly identify it well enough."

((Ah damn...))
"Not much" He told her. "I think I got sprayed when the arm and leg came off though. I kinda dropped the kid to avoid being sliced."

"It might go better for you if you stop lyin'," Ruby warned with a hard edge to her voice. "I don't know what you're tryin' to accomplish by this Lucid, but when it's really riled, my temper ain't a pretty thing."

"I know." He told her, "I've experianced it." He bent down and picked up her katana, which vanished with him. "The angel may not have sliced your child apart, but I can. You'll want to protect him heavily from now on."

Ruby ran in the direction of her katana, and moved around lashing out at random in hopes of identifying Lucid's position or at least getting in a hit, though to no effect.

Lucidity watched her with a smile. She was flailing wildly about five feet to the left of him. He smiled, then lifted the katana above his head and brought it down at her. "You dont need to know" He told her.
