Sanji caught the ball and walked over to the door.
"I'll leave you to your little cage match agains the ball."
With that, he threw the ball hard against the wall and closed the door behind him. He glanced over and saw Scott prowling the halls. He waved over at him and started to approach him.
"Hey..Scot was it? Right, how've ya been?"

Scott turned his eyes upward and saw Sanji, nodding slightly to acknowledge the man. "Indeed, it was Scott. And I've been alright. Tired, but alright," he answered, pausing momentarily in his walk and leaning against the wall so he could continue to speak to the man. "And how've you been.." he asked, unable to recall the man's name. "My appologies, but I can't remember if I was ever informed of your name," he explained. He had spent a good amount of the boat ride asleep in his room, but he wondered if Gill had introduced the two of them before they had boarded the ship, even if it was through a shout to anyone who was listening.

(Long distance between posts, forgive me. I have had a busy weekend. Also, i like you guys to make up most of the story)
Gill sat with Valdecia and Lexi Nova at a table below the main deck. Somewhere in a vast, empty cargo hold they sat speaking to another.
"Eventualy, they will catch on to our connection."
Gill said softly, quietly as he looked to the girls.

Alex snapped out of whatever trance she was in. She caught the bouncy ball and walked out. "Laters." She said as she started towards her room. She tossed the ball up and down until she reached her room. She opened the door and dropped the ball on the ground and closed the door. "Gah, boring."

"Let them know. It will be better for them to know our relation..."
She said softly with a shrug of the shoulders.

Sanji chuckled and waved his hand aimlessly in the air.
"Bah, no problem. Names Sanji, don't forget it this time. Sleep sounds pretty good to me."
He chuckled and folded his arms, leaning against the wall.
"Haven't been up to much. Kris made me fight her, and she learned she was black blood. Thats all i've been doing, learning."

"I am full super, you are halfbreed, and Val is human... Siblings are supposed to be different."

Scott nodded slightly and began to spin the emerald green staff in his right hand while leaning against the wall with his left side. "Black blood, eh? Sounds interesting," he mumbled to no one in particular. "So what exactly was it that brought you into System Diabolical?" he asked Sanji curiously. He liked to know why the new recruits had joined up with the group as it gave him a better understanding about the type of person they were. Some joined to escape something else in their life and others joined to have a close-knit group of friends who could always be relied on. Scott was one of the founders of the System and he had wanted to be involved in it for the latter reason. He had begun to grow away from Gill recently, but he suspected that it may have had something to do with the fact that it always seemed like something was being hidden from Scott.

Sanji chuckled and shook his head.
"Why? Thats a good question actually. Its an odd combination, but i thirst for revenge, as well as the ability to protect others. VILLAIN is top on my list, but i can't let them run rapid and kill others."
He closed his eyes and let his head hang limp.
"I also can't do it alone."

Scott nodded. "A valiant reason, to be sure. And I'd be more than happy to aid you, if you'd like my assistance," he responded, happy to offer his services to try and defeat VILLAIN once and for all. Scott would be glad to add Sanji to the group of those he believed he could trust within the System. He wanted to talk with Gill about something, but assumed that it could wait for a while, though he hoped he would have a chance to speak with their leader prior to the beginning of the costume party. For now, his attention was focussed on Sanji and the staff spinning rapidly in his hand.

Sanji nodded at Scott, pleased to hear his acceptance.
"I'll keep you in mind then. I'm afraid to say, I feel there is some tension between members. There is constant secret holding. So far nothing too much, but i'm afraid we may have a deciever. Then again, I may be over cautious."
He chuckled and shook his head. He rapped his fingers on the wall lightly and closed his eyes, lost in thought.

Scott nodded his head slightly and let his eyes slip closed, feeling comfortable enough around Sanji to let his guard down for a while. "Finally. Someone else sees what I find to be quite obvious," he mumbled to himself. He was relieved to find out that their were others who believed that not everything within the System was going as well as he would have liked. Everything had been going alright up until the incident at the mansion, where it seemed increasingly clear that Gill wanted to keep him in the dark about something and it had caused him a bit of mental pain to know that Gill didn't seem to trust him with the knowledge of whatever was being held from him.

Sanji opened his eyes and shook his head.
"Doesn't take a genius to realize our team chemistry is a little off. The women seem pretty relaxed with eachother, but they are a little hidden from me. Maybe its just me, i don't know. Then again, I may just be looking into things too deeply."
He threw his arms up in confusion and muttered something to himself.

Scott smirked slightly and opened his eyes again, the staff in his hand snapping to a stop and the bottom slamming into the ground as he leaned against it. "You're the first new member I've spoken to since this cruise started and, unless something strange happens, the last hopefully. The others seem a little different," he said, keeping his problem with Gill to himself for now. Though he trusted Sanji, it was a bit too early to let him in on the problems that had recently developed between Scott and Gill. "You're right as far as I can tell. Something's definately off with a few people on this ship and I'd like toget it all sorted out before all hell breaks loose again," he told Sanji.

Sanji eyed Scott strangely and rolled his neck.
"Not much into groups I take it? I'm hoping the costume party won't be too strange for the others. I don't know, everyone in one place is a toss up as far as being good or a total mess."
He let Scott's words sink in for a moment as he stood in thought.
"I think the problem is halfbreeds. I mean, its not being a halfbreed thats the problem. Its developing as a halfbreed thats the problem. Kris is still clueless, and Rayla and Alex don't seem very informed either. If they are halfbreeds at least. Thats my guess for now. I'll stick to that unless informed other wise."
