Amnity blinked a few times. "I know what it's like to be human...It wasn't that long ago, in fact." She shrugged. "Fighting to the death isn't safe...But I fought almost every day. Race has nothing to do with it." She grinned and stood by the railing of the torch. "...Now it'll take a bit more time to climb down the statue..."

Mephlius smiled. "I'll race you down! On your marks... GO!" He ran, and leaped off the edge... but he was just trying to scare Amnity. He grabbed an edge of the torch, and quickly curled around under it, just out of sight.

Amnity rushed to the railing, screaming. "Mephlius! What the hell are you-" She couldn't see him anywhere, so she immediately assumed that he was going to get himself killed. "Damn..." She put her jacket on and took a step back, ready to jump after him.

Amnity yelped and stopped just before she was about to jump over the railing. "Oh my- Mephlius!" She sighed, then she punched him in the arm. "Of all the idiotic-" She stopped, knowing he'd probably do it again anyway. The hunter walked over to the railing, calculating the distance, still a bit angry. "...Don't do that again!" She then got up on the railing. "So are we going to jump or what?"

He climbed over the railing, onto the arm. After carefully crossing it, he jumped up into the statue's head. He sat on the railing of the stairway, smiling. "Mephlius... are you thinking what I think you are?" "I sure hope he is!" He smiled.

Amnity shrugged and followed after him. When they got to the stairway though, she began to get nervous. "I have a bad feeling about this..." She muttered. Seeing Mephlius' previous escapades and knowing what he's usually like, she had a good reason to be nervous. "What? What is he thinking?"

Mephlius smiled. "Something much more fun, and much less mature." He repeated. He pushed off, and started sliding down the rail. "Yeeeeaaaaaahhh!!!" He screamed happily. It was every 8 year old's dream... sliding down a giant stairway railing. "ME NEXT!" Richard lept up, and jumped onto the railing. "Wwwwhhhhheeeeeeeeeee!!!" "MY TURN!" Walt said, jumping at the railing. He was shoved out of the way by Karen. She motioned at the railing. "Amnity?"

Amnity rolled her eyes, but really the child in her was screaming for her to go ahead. She had a running start, balancing herself on the railing as she slid down the spiraling staircase. And there were at least 305ft of stairs to go.

"WOOOOOOO!!!!" Amnity laughed as the railing seemed to spiral down into forever. She eventually found herself in Mephlius' arms. She smiled and looked up at him. "Nice catch."
