Konichiwa, minna-san. Hajimemashite, yoroshiku onegaishimasu. [Hello/Good afternoon, everyone. First time meeting all of you. Please do take care of me.]
^^ I've decided to join this guild so the 1 and a half years I spent on Japanese lessons wouldn't go waste~ So I hope to continue learning and maintaining it with all of you.

Hi! I am half Japanese but I was born in Canada. I've lived in Japan when I was very little but I went back to go to school here(Canada). I'm starting to forget kanji and how to speak the language (although I understand it) so I am starting to teach myself. I hope to be able to speak and read more Japanese so that I'll be able to live in Japan. Yoroshikune smile

Konnichi wa! 4laugh I finally got accepted, I am Alina(real name) but people call me rika because that is my online name but either way you choice is fine with me.^_^ I have been learning japanese on my own because at the moment I live in a place where people find it strange when you tell them that your learning languages like japanese, chinese, korean, etc. So it's imposible to find any classes here. crying Because I have been learning japanese on my own for ummm....6 months? sweatdrop And with the exams an all I haven't learnt much. Sometimes when I watch anime I catch a word or two but that's all I guess. So I hope to learn as much as I can over here so that once I'll go to Japan(someday maybe sweatdrop ) I won't be an idiot who needs a tour guide or translater all the times(not that tour guides and translaters are bad! It's just that I believe it's better to speak the language so that you can do things freely^_^)

Hey everyone!! My name's Hurky and I have been wanting to learn Japanese for a long time. I plan to enroll in the Japanese classes at my college but I may not have a chance to enroll or get the class, so I am trying to learn Japanese on my own. I would like to teach other people especially my friends and my sister. One of my friends is going to participate in a foreign exhange program and she's going to go to Japan, so maybe I could learn to help her out a bit. And I plan on going to Japan one day soon.
Hurky biggrin

Konnichwa goisamazu. I'm an avid follower of subbed anime, but I've been wanting to learn the Japanese language so that I could download the RAWs instead of subbed episodes. On top of that, I've been a big fan of the Japanese culture ever since picking up on bands like Gackt and Miyavi.
Anyway, hope I learn plenty here. Domo Arigato!

Hello everyone! I'm Jaejoongfangirl, but you can call by a nickname if you want, i don't really care biggrin . lets see... my interests are Jrock (DUH!), Kpop (DBSK for ever!), Anime, Manga, being a fangirl etc. anywhosles, i really want to learn more japanese so that i can actually understand interveiws with my Fav bands, instead of just laughing with them and at their cute faces, athough that's fun too xd . also i want to be able to read imported manga, eventually. I already know all the katakana and hiragana and a very few kanji, but i'm confused on sentence structure and the usage of cirten words (ga, wa, mo) it confuses me currently... sweatdrop Anyway, i've been teaching myself japanese for not very long, but i pick up on langauges quickly (my average in my spanish class is over 100) please be nice to me. arigato gozaimasu!

I'm Lily and I've been studying Japanese off and on for about 7 years. Because of my splotchy education, I'm not the best at it, but I know enough to get by. I'd be happy to tutor any beginner students, and I'd love to practice with any intermediate students.
Musically I'm interested in Utada Hikaru and Miyavi. Anime wise I'm a fan of Ghost in the Shell and Studio Ghibli. Dorama wise I'm currently addicted to Hana Yori Dango.
よろしくね。
