Because I was nine and stupid Behind the eyes of people...xD You'd think by now Ash would've quit trying to catch them all.

Not only does he try to catch them, he lets them go too...
And... I admit to buying the soundtracks to Pokemon.
However, now they just sit and collect dust in the back of my closet.

I love pokemon. However now..
e-e The dub's goen to far. I mean, it'd be okay... IF VERONICA TAYLOR WAS STILL PLAYING ASH'S VOICE! I could handle that..
But they had to bring in some May... by the way, MAYDREW FOREVER, and let her voice actor do ASh's part too.

What about that Pokedex thing? Didn't that keep track of all the ones he caught.. and released?
I don't watch it anymore, but tell me they at least changed the catch phrase. "Gotta' catch 'em all!" would just be a ridiculous thing to say now.

xD Wow. I have like, every single one of the games still..
And I think the count is up to... 450 or something now. :/ From the last time I checked when I was playing.
... I can actually still remember most of the damn names, moves, levels they evolve and everything. .__. *slowly backs away* This is making me remember TOO many things. @_@
Edit: .__. I think they did change the catch phrase.
... Something about being the best, making it to the top.. something or other when I had to watch it with my little cousins. xD
When I was watching it I was like.. "I bet Ash is going to make Pikachu use that Thunderbolt." .. "Pikachu! Thunderbolt~ Pikachuuuuuuu" They were really shocked and started bombarding me with questions. @_@ Im never going to say anything ever again about Pokemon when I babysit them.

I haven't watched Pokemon in forever... The last time I did was to watch that special featuring Misty when she's doing her gym leader thing. xD Misty totally rocks. ;3
Although I did hear my cousin watching it in the living room, and the Opening theme sorta disappointed me. I really thought the first FIRST one was catchy.
...
Wow, I was in elementary when it first came out... Is it really that old?

If the Pokedex thing does then I feel really bad for it. xD
My friend still reads the manga. ._. He said he likes the changing of the catch phrase and that new pokemon are better than the old. He scares me. xD

I was in third grade when it became really popular. It was the first anime I really watched as "anime," not as just as a cartoon with pointy hair and big eyes.
...Funny how the things I liked then are the things I dislike now.
Pokemon used to be on at about 7:30 pm Friday where I live. Then Fushigi Yuugi would come next. I used to watch both. Now... well... I utterly dislike both series.

Oh man, I remember when my friends would go crazy for Fushigi Yuugi.
I never got the whole obsession, because Yuu Watase's style didn't really suit my tastes when it came to shoujo manga.
As for other childhood series, who remembers Digimon? I loved the series, but just couldn't continue it after the second season. :shot by Kairi:

I actually enjoyed the third and fourth season. (The third being my favorite.) Although, the humor/jokes did kinda turn me off...

Digimon owned my soul. gonk I was so obsessed with it back then.
The fourth season was my favorite, if not because of my OTP, then because of Kouji alone. D: Third was my second favorite, with it being the most serious and everything. The first and second seasons were all right.. I just didn't like them as much as everyone else seemed to. :/

It was only the third season I really watched fully. Before, I was SO annoyed that all the names ended with "mon," and I thought it was pretty much a rip-off from Pokemon. (But then I realized that there a lot of 'mons' in the manga and anime verses.) I liked the fourth season best, though. Kouji and Izumi were one of my childhood favorite couplings.
