Fortunately I've never been caught. But sometimes my little sister uses my gaia account so this one is a mule that she doesn't know about. She's a bit young for yaoi I think neutral

My mom has caught me reading yaoi fanfics quite a few times. Well, I more or less told her about (I'm open and honest with my mom) years ago and at first it was just like, 'no, you don't want to get into that stuff' Once she actually found the fanfics and/or fanarts, she flipped. My mom's a fairly conservative Christian, so this stuff is a sin... I tried to explain it to her but I got grounded and stuff taken away from me all the time. Really liking yoai is really the only "bad" thing I've done, so I guess she had to punish me for something. xp Now that I'm older and have moved out of the house, I get to read all the yummy yaoi that I want to and my mom doesn't know the difference. I just don't mention it anymore.

My parents don't know about my yaoi obsession(thank god). I did get my dad to buy me Gravitation one time though(but the covers really aren't that suggestive and Shuichi does look like a chick.)

my mom likes to look at the stuff of my computer when i leave stuff open....
once i was in the middle of a lemon (SasNaru and there was tons of cursing)
i left my room to do my homework (this was all before i had a password to ge tin my desktop) and my mom goes in my room and opens the window and reads it!
when i go upstairs, i see her reading it and then shes all like
NOTE: the conversation was in spanish. "why are you reading this crap?"
i couldnt think of anything so thankfully i had gaia open also and said
"well my friends told me to click this link and i didnt know what it was and i havent read it yet sweatdrop redface "
"oh. well I dont want to see reading this s**t" and then she walks away.
whew im lucky she doesnt go through my pictures cuz i have a CRAPLOAD of SasuNaru fanart, doujinishi and also Gravitation piccys....and doujinishi.
i always get worried about my yaoi obsession when im around my mom....(hispanic mothers are bitches....)

Ok, by caught mom comes in yells....then no. I've had things....lots of things....multiple times. ^_^ She has deleted the stuff off my computer....leaving it in the trash can for me to refresh when I find it. My mom hasn't comfronted me in the whole last three years since this started...EVER!!! I know she knows about everything if she doesn't she is in denial or has forgotten....like at least ten times....at least. I'm not the greatest at hiding stuff. I leave yaoi and shouni ai mangas on the floor for my mom to find. I believe if you want to know something you have to ask. I don't want to tell my mom I'm gay. What I want is for her to ask me if I am. I make it very obvious and she still doesn't take the bait.
DAME MOM ASK ME IF I'M GAY ALREADY SO I CAN BE FREE. sweatdrop

My parents are very religious and would probably smack me alongside the head, take away my books and movies, and lock me up in my room or something like that. But I'm old enough to move out. Yay! No more sneaking!

I was on the computer reading a...I think it was a K/Hiro fanfic? But anyway, it was M rated, and I left the room to go to the bathroom. When I came back, my mom was on the computer doing something else. I fussed with her and when she went sit back down, she said, "If your daddy goes in the history and sees what you've been reading, you'll be in BIG trouble." I couldn't say another word. eek

*laughs & scratches back of head* Well my parents don't care as long as I don't get in trouble with any officials (I loan some of my manga to friends at school) They won't care. But otherwise, eh...there would go most of my collection. But even then, they're usually not to observant of it and if they notice they really don't care. But since they have friends who are technically in the yaoi category so hmm....I guess there's the reason why they don't mind.
