The white-haired man nods, "I have been on the path for a few years. I can only do this because my family has passed away or have moved on. However, it's been my vision to give this gift to Westley, from my daughter." --- Westley's yellow eyes follow what is going on. He starts backing away but freezes as he backs into something. Turning around slowly, he finds it is someone not something.
"Well, well, well," a brown haired man says, "What have I found here?"
The tawny haired man's eyes widen, seeing the man. --- Margem sighs and says, "I'm going to make lunch."
She kisses Darian on the cheek before going over to the tent, readying to make a stew and getting away from the tension (gladly).

Lael smiles, but only slightly. "So you've been looking for him for all this time?" she asks. Something about him is making her uneasy, but she's not sure what.
"Great. C'mon! He's over here," she says, pointing. "Who do you think he could be?"

"All in good time," Nathan said, exiting his tent and walking in the direction the ghost had pointed. Upon reaching the white-haired man, the half demon slipped into his mind, disguising his action by saying, "I don't believe we've met. My name's Nathan. Yours would be..."

Cassie grins. "Whatever you say," she says and follows, a bounce in her step.
Lael smiles at Nathan, hoping that his reapearence means that their eariler spat is forgotten, not knowing his real reason for coming. "Hello Nathan," she says.

The man nods to Lael, "Yes, I have. Of course, I have had to take breaks along the way, enjoying nature and whatnot." He pauses then laughs, "I am human, so I needed those breaks."
He then turns to the young fellow nearby, "I am retired Major Grayson, Nathan." --- "What the...? What are you...? Why are you here?" the tawny haired man whispers to the brunette man.
"Don't worry, Westley. He hired me to help knock you off, which I didn't want to do. I joined him only to have hope that you could be saved from his likes. I left him about a month ago. Whereas he thinks that I went back home, I've actually tagged behind to try to help you," the man says.
Westley shakes his head, "I'm hunted by the man who was going to be my father-in-law, if she hadn't come on so strongly. And then the man that happened to be her cousin, and the man who would have been my best man, is asked to join this man previously mentioned. Another twist is that this best-man man says that he accepted to hunt me just so he can, at the last minute, save my hide? Am I hearing correctly?!"
The man nods.
After sighing, the yellow-eyed man says, "It's good to see you, John, but I'm more worried about the people in the sites than I am about myself."
((OOC: Had to backtrack to get the history between Westley and Sam. ....forgot the whole deal, more or less. -Snowed In, about p.21.
To remind everyone: Westley became a part-cougar when he was 13. Fell for a gal a few years after that, a girl named Sam. I don't know if I gave her a last name.... [so I'll say that her last name was "Bunter" until someone can point out where I might have given her a last name...] Anyways, they were in love. He didn't have control of his claws and, when she cornered him with a question, he panicked and skewered her - killed her. The villagers tortured him afterwards, with burns, etc. He managed to get out of the village, but Sam's father ["Major Grayson", (Major pain to RP dude), Charles Bunter] has been hunting Westley since Sam's death. John Anders, the newer character, was going to be Westley's best man in the wedding. John is also Sam's cousin, on her mother's side.))

"And might I ask what it is you're doing here?" Nathan asked. The half demon wanted to hear more of the man's lies before exposing him, and was still searching through the web of confused memories for something that pretained to Westley. The fact that he had lied about his name was reason not to trust him, but there must have been more than that.

Trying not to sigh, the man says, "I'm here to give something to Westley. My daughter wanted me to give it to him, though she's moved on from those years so long ago. Also, I just want to catch up with him, chat about what's been up in his life."
--- John bites his lip and says, "I don't think you have to worry about everyone there. Charles is getting drilled by someone there."
The tawny haired man turns, looking to where his friend is pointing. 'Nathan. If anyone can help the people there, he can.'
Westley sighs and lies down, "I can't take this running anymore, John. It's wearing me out. I feel like I'm fifty sometimes. ...that's why I came here, but all it seems I did was put people in danger again."
"Not true!"

"Bullshit," Nathan said calmly, his mind retracting from the man's. "I don't care so much that you lied about your name, that in itself is innocent enough. What gets on my nerves, Mr. Bunter, for that is your real name, is the fact that you tried to trick everyone hear into handing over a friend so you could kill him. Do you really think that's what Sam would want? You killing the man she loves? I think not." The half demon smirks, his satisfaction visible not only in his expresion but also in a gleam in his red-irised eyes.
"Wait," Darian said, not knowing all that Nathan did. "He wants to do what?" The elf's right hand was on the hilt of his sword, ready to slay this man if it should prove neccessary.

The white-haired man pauses, not sure about what to say. He looks at the man that had called him for what he's worth. The color of Nathan's eyes turns the said "Major Grayson" (really Charles Bunter) mad.
"You're as dispicable as HE is," he says, spitting on the ground in front of him. He attempts to form another sentence, but he cannot. --- The tawny-haired male closes his eyes, not listening to the conversation near Charles and Nathan.
"You didn't put these people in danger, Westley," says John.
"Shhh..." the man says.
"They've got it taken care of, so why don't you go over there?"
Westley says, not opening his eyes, "I can't. My paw hurts so badly. It's doing something, but I don't know what..."
"Crap."
((OOC: Mr.Ownage: I give Darian and Nathan permission to kill Charles. I will find a way to make him his character: he pursues Westley because 1.) Westley killed his daughter 2.) Westley is a mutant/different.))

Lael gasps. "So you're the one!" she says. She crosses the distance between them and lands a resounding slap across his face. Then she looks at her hand, as though shocked at what she just did. Turning back to Charles she says, "Get out of here. Go home to whatever family you may still have. Leave Westley alone."
Cassie cackles. "And here I thought she was a good girl," she says. What an interesting development, she thinks. I'm glad I came.
((XD Bad a** Lael! She really doesn't get angry to often, but when she does... And I should explain Cassie's slight indifference. For her, this is more of entertainment. Like watching a movie. She likes stirring up trouble and watching drama's play out. Part of it's the kid in her and part of it's being dead for so long. So yeah. That's that.))

The man adjusts his jaw before saying, "You must be his b****, then. From the looks of it, you'd be perfect for the position." --- "How can I help?" John asks, his brown hair falling from behind his ears.
Hearing what Charles has to say, Westley says, "Make sure that he doesn't hurt Lael."
The man nods and steps out of the brush. "Charles, don't lay a hand on her."

Lael bristles, her usually docile temper coloring her face. "I am no one's b***h," she says, practically spiting the last word, her voice oozing venom. She is so focused on Charles she barely notices the new comer.
Cassie, on the other hand, is quick to notice him. "Who're you?" she asks, examining him. "Do you know him?" She points to Charles.

The brown haired man nods saying, "I am John Anders, friend of Westley. I was also Sam's cousin. I was supposed to be his best man at the wedding between Westley and Sam. "I am Charles' nephew and, though I joined him for a different reason, he recruited me to help hunt down Westley. I left him as I knew we were closer to Westley's position, since I have no reason to hurt my own friend."
Charles laughs then says, "You're all weak and pathetic, siding on a mutant's side. As for you, missy, would you rather be called his "partner"? Fallen for a mutant, how revolting."
((OOC: Dang.... I like getting on Lael's nerves. Charles is kinda fun, but I give everyone the right to kill him [including myself, though I plan on getting on everyone's nerves - not killing him myself razz ].))

"Westley and I are not together," Lael says. "We are friends, and that gives me more than enough reason to defend him. As for him being a mutant, I could give you a thousand reasons why it doesn't matter, but I doubt you'd listen. So I'll just say, don't you think that it's a bit unwise to insult people who are different when there isn't a person here you would call 'normal'?" Turning to John she takes a deep breath and asks more calmly, "Forgive me for asking, but this man," she spits the last word, pointing at Charles, "lied to us when we met him. How do we know that you aren't doing the same?"
((Oh, I agree. She's quite fun to write when she's mad.))

Nathan grabbed Charles by the throat with one hand, lifting him from the ground. "You should know better than to insult a half demon, or his friends. Consider yourself lucky my girlfriend isn't here. Although to you she would appear more 'normal' than an elf, a half demon, or an albino, I assure you she is not, and would heat things up a bit, if you'll forgive my pun.
(Damn! I put myself in to good a position to waste time! MoD's another mule of mine!)
Lily had been nearby, and heard the white-haired man apparently named Charles insult Nathan and Lael, both of which were dear to her. Stepping from the woods she raised her flaming right hand. "Burn in hell you son of a b***h!" She shouted, hurling a ball of flame at him.
Hearing Lily's shout, and seeing the flame, Nathan quickly added, "Nevermind", and releasd his grasp just as the fireball made contact, causing Charles to burst into flames.
(Lily's pretty fun in general, especially when she's mad.)
