ll I see you've gotten out of your one little posting rut. o.o;;
And, designer thing? Yeah, I have no clue about that kind of thing. I've probably seen like... five home-designing shows, ever, even when they were insanely popular. So... we're in the same boat, I suppose. ll

Iyla looked quietly around, in even more shock than when she had first entered the home, or viewed the gardens. Such richness... "This cannot be for me," was the first thing she said, but soon she was smiling beyond her control. She examined the room before her, from the four-post bed to the spacious bathing area, then turned her eyes to Jei. She looked at him without seeing for a few moments, then flew at him. His body was warm and soft, and her cheek tingled at the realization of this. It was a hug.

Her binding embrace was firm for a few moments, but once those few moments were over, her eyes shot open and she froze. This was no way to greet a new master, especially if she didn't want to immediatly have sex with this one.

Niether did I. o.0

Yes, it seems that way. At least for the moment.

Sythe looked over. "An illness.... hmm..." he said, quietly, before returning his gaze to the star-studded ceiling above them. "It sounds to me like degenerative bone marrow." he commented, looking over to Vanity. "And there are treatments for it. We'll have to get you some tommorow. It's basically a calcium supplement, making your bones stronger by adding more calcium." Sythe explained. "It will slow down the illness by a great deal, but it won't cure it, unfortunately." Sythe said, his demeanor falling a bit at that statement.

"It is for you." Jei said, smiling lightly as he watched her looking about the room. What she did next was quite unexpected though, and left Jei in a form of shock. His hands hung in mid-air near Iyla's sides, his eyes a little wide. After a few moments, his arms fell to his sides, as he thought about the situation. Quite... Unexpected.... But, it's not like I'm not enjoying this... what shoul... The thoughts raced through his mind at lightspeed.

Jei's hands left his sides, and embraced Iyla as well. "I guess that means you like it." he said, his voice soft and quiet. The movement was natural, and was performed by his subconscious. He wasn't surprised at his movement, it felt too natural, and not forced, therefore it had to be the right thing to do... right?

Vanity blinked. That was it? Okay god, you can tell me that you're just screwing with me now. Vanity sighed, relief that that was his only reaction; her father had not taken it well. "You don't need get me a treatment, I've been able to live with this for awhile now." As grateful as Vanity was, she didn't want anyone worrying or pitying for her. "To tell you the truth, you aren't the first that has offered a treatment. I just refused them." She had had offers and help since she first got the illness when she was six, but never ahd bothered to take up any of them. Her father was always destressed about that and in doing so Vanity had pushed people out of her life unknowingly. One by one she was forgotten and labled as the girl who was too proud for her own good and one by one she forgot them. But truth was Vanity just accepted it and moved on, so what if she had an illness, even if treated you can't stop it and getting one to ease the pain was just an easy way out and that was running in Vanity's point of view.

{OOC}

I knew it was something along the lines of bone marrow. It was on the tip of my tongue but i was too lazy to research it. How do you know this stuff!? o.O

Well, I have a quite adept knowledge of medical procedures, and diseases.... and I don't quite know why. My mom think I should be a paramedic, but I've chosen to check out being an animator. Maybe I should keep my options open and take Bio this year. Anyways, back to the point, I probably have this knowledge because my mom wanted to be a nurse, and she watches a bunch of medical shows, which I am basically forced to watch, since she watches them when I have nothing better to do. >.< [/ramble]

Edit: My OOC is longer then my actual post razz

"You may be able to live with it now, but it will get worse. Your bones will break from becoming supple. We are going to get that calcium supplement tommorow, no matter how many times you refuse. Pain isn't a pleasurable feeling, whether it be emotional or physical." Sythe said, fully awake now. "Don't make me have to alter your mind to allow me to get them for you. That would be a last resort." Sythe said, his voice serious, yet calm and collected.

Vanity frowned, she had forgotten he not only could read minds, but could control the mind. She had no choice but to oblige much to her disdain. Why does he care anyways. Vanity pouted and looked back at the serious face of Sythe. Her cjildish manner seemed to have broken the serious tone he was trying to achieve, or at least that's what she hoped. It'd be a wonder if the man ever had fun, like just now before my attack.

Uh-oh, it's getting short. Ai is running out of ideas! >.<

"I guess that means you agree." Sythe said, returning his gaze to the night sky. "And by the way. I have had fun, and I was having fun before your attack." Sythe said, smirking and looking over to Vanity. "Gomen, my telekinetic abilities sometime turn on against my will. It made it so I could hear your last thought there." Sythe smiled. "Don't worry about any of your other thoughts, I shut the bond off."

The smile had locked itself onto her face as Fayte fell silent. The situation seemed awkward to her, now, so she didn't know how to respond. However, the silence was broken when a door opened beside her. "Oh, thank you." She nodded, then turned her head slightly when Lain spoke to her. With a second nod, she climbed out of the carriage and stepped aside to wait for him. Fayte had not yet been able to decide whether she really trusted Lain or not, but who could blame her? She'd barely known him a half hour, if even that. Until then, she'd have a hard time being herself, and that could develop problems. I'll just have to act more cheerful from now on, I guess. Taking a deep breath then exhaling, Fayte smiled more sincerely over at Lain when he'd come out after her.

(( Graahhh! I'm so sick of my unmotivated, uncreative, writer's block phase! -bangs her head against a wall until she bleeds- ))

In Vanity's inner mind theater she was banging her head on her imaginary desk for being so stupid to have again forgot that Sythe could read minds or that he was telekinetic. "So....what time is it?" Vanity said as she was trying to stary far away from the subject of her illness and him being telekinetic. For some reason everytime he brought up his ablilities it only reminded her of that someone that left him and it made her even more curious. She couldn't help but wonder if that person was a lover or something. Curiousity is going to be my murderer someday

Gunther heard the distressed wail and chuckled softly. "One second, mother, I'll go get him." He got from his chair, going straight past his mother's chair and out to the main hall. There he noticed Doran standing by the bathroom door, completely lost. "It's this way, Doran." He motioned toward the dining room, at the same time noting how well the foxboy's clothes fit on him.

Doran looked at Gunther, blushing a little from embarassment. "Thanks..." He muttered and quickly trotted to the other's side, his ears perked up and his tail wagging. "We're having steak, right?" He said hopefully in confirmation. If it weren't for the fact he didn't want to make a fool of himself, Doran would be jumping up and down right now.

"Not a problem." Gunther chuckled a little as Doran asked for steak hopefully, which would be almost like puppy eyes to anyone else. "You would be able to eat more than one steak if you wanted, you know. The servants eat with us, but we always make an extra few main courses just in case." The young lord tried not to laugh as Doran's eyes glittered even more happily. "You must really like steak, hmm?"

Doran's tail wagged with almost blinding speed. "Really?! I haven't had any real food in ages! To actually have some red meat..." The boy was almost drooling, he could already taste the food. "Oh man... and I can have more than one?" It was more than his wildest dreams. Seriously, he got free food and it was bound to be incredible!

Iyla, still frozen slightly, relaxed immediatly to his touch. Although she wasn't quite sure she wanted to, the woman pulled away, her hands lingering unintentionally on his. Alright, Iyla. Calm down. Just roll with it... but he was really warm, and soft! A feeling of similar sorts was spreading through her body, warming her from the tips of her fingers to her little toes. "...yes," she stuttered, having a bit of trouble with her words, "I do." A slight smile was all it took for her to begin blushing, so that's all she gave him.

"Where are you? And... um... do you happen to have a dojo somewhere in this house?" She was beginning to get excited. From the looks of it, there wasn't too much that would hinder... anything at all, really. She was excited, and immensely so.

Fayte considered Lein for a moment. It suprised her that he'd asked what she wanted. He had actually given her a choice. It caused her to smile. This place was new to her, so even with her almost bat-like hearing, she would still have a bit of trouble getting to know her way around. She had been known in the past to stumble over items left on the floor, low tables and other furniture, and even walk straight into walls when she couldn't focus. Without saying a word, she held out her hand for him to take.

"Yes, you get as much as you want. Just make sure you don't eat too much of mom's desserts... you'll never stop eating them. You'll get addicted." Gunther nodded, knowing from experience several times what happens when you ate those desserts. Then the young lord smiled as they got to the dining room hallway. "But as for the steak, we should have plenty."
