How is five quoted sections with five medium to small sized responses a ******** wall of text? It isn't ******** hard to scroll past it. Nor is it hard to stop bitching about it.

And for ******** sake, why do people in the GD call troll the moment someone disagrees and does so in a slightly intelligent fashion? Just because someone has debate experience does not make them a troll. Just because someone doesn't end every sentence with "but it's just my opinion so don't cry all over yourself that I disagreed" and a big happy hug doesn't make them a damn troll.

I really wonder sometimes why I still post in the GD anymore. The ED is bad enough.

How the ******** does one go about debating with someone who says that the proper definition of Wicca is "biased...and does not accurately describe mainstream Wicca, particularly as it exists in America...", insisting that BTW =|= Wicca in America?

I'd respect this person a whole ******** lot more if they actually had some kind of support for their stance and not some big steaming pile of appeal to popularity. Her only source is citing the work of someone who is non-Wiccan, but wrote about how Paganism has grown in America. Apparently in her vast, open-minded view, she neglects to see that Paganism as a whole is not represented by Wicca and vice versa. Gee, I can't imagine how she would have missed that slight detail rolleyes

Although I don't think a lot can be said for her supporters either; one of them who agreed with her didn't even know what "biased" meant rolleyes .

My rant for tonight:
I wish people would just make up their ******** minds and stop being such drama llamas. I don't know what the ******** went wrong or what I even did wrong but I just want to know that I have someone I can turn to at the end of the day or when I just feel like curling into a ball and crying my eyes out. Is that such a big thing to ask for? *screams*

Picture a place where there are seven people working. There's the owner, a manager who is subcontracted with the owner and his two employees, the owner's manager and his two employees.

The owner's manager sets policy for his staff, which includes procedures.
The subcontractor is rude to customers, his employees are lazy and rather aloof from customers. They all get horrible marks from customer feedback polls.

The owner's manager sets one of his employees as a supervisor. The owner's only non-titled employee works hard, is great with guests etc. They aren't allowed to accept tips- and the only employee that turns their tips over to their supervisor is the untitled employee. The untitled employee gets amazing feedback in customer polls.

The manager for the subcontractor accuses the non-titled employee- the only one honest enough to turn their tips over, of stealing from the company.

As the non-titled employee's manager- what do you do?

I am also very very sick of this soft word meaning bullshit that everyone keeps pulling out. I want to make a huge club and burn the phrase "WORDS HAVE MEANING ********!" on it and then commence hitting people with this club whenever they even start to say "Words can have any meaning!!"
