After releasing his forbidden art he would see the tides seem to begin turning against his companions. The girl Soyeon who was behind Botenmaru, adjacent to Satoshi would move to defend the boy after one of the many hounds broke through his fearful illusions. Botenmaru could nearly smell the blood as it seeped from Satoshi.

The sound of armor as Botenmaru's foot planted firmly before begining a mad dash for the hound that Soyeon had underestimated the strength of would begin. Metal crashed and thudded with every step until he would preform a short leap from the ground, placing himself just above the creature before his sword would plunge into the beasts spine. It resisted and let out a blood curdling shriek of pain that would quickly attract his kin to it's side. As Botenmaru struggled against the strength of the beast in it's final moments he would throw his weight into the strike to drive the tip of the blade out the other side of it's flesh and into the earth. As the guard of the blade met the nape of it's neck, it's life force finally seemed to give out.
During this process, several of the hounds would begin their enraged assault on Botenmaru to take vengeance on their fallen kin. Botenmaru was quickly knocked to his back, being separated from his sword that was still plunged into the creature as he was rag-dolled several feet away. Before recovering and standing to his feet, the first beast would stand atop his body, pinning his torso and his free'd right hand with it's mighty claws.
Botenmaru had the wind knocked from his chest as the beast attempted to silence him forever with it's powerful jowls. The boy would use his legs to kick the beast, creating just enough space between their bodies to allow him to rotate his entire body. With this rotation of his body, he slung his left arm which still brandished the shield and planted it into the beast that loomed just above him. The shield would find it's mark in the creature's eye and along it's face to cause an excruciating amount of pain. Luckily for him, this had been one of the wounded hounds that took considerable less effort to slay. This action threw the beast to the ground beside Botenmaru as it was vanquished from the shield bash.
Botenmaru was clearly feeling the exhaustion from the beasts. As he stood a number of hounds would move to surround him. It was apparent that they had broken from the teacher's chains during the time Botenmaru was clashing with the two. He exhaled with broken breath from beneath the armor which would luckily hide his state from the foe. His sword was still plunged into a beast that was out of reach due to this new group of hounds. Botenmaru gritted his teeth. ' There's too many of the hounds, let alone the remaining squids. They did not have the resources to vanquish these beasts alone, at least not while maintaining the upper hand. Their options were becoming more and more limited. Without his blade, he would take a page from the overactive ninjutsu user and begin to use his own forbidden arts.

Every three posts the user is able to combine offensive medical ninjutsu with a bukijutsu technique for one activation, paying only the resource cost every three posts. Medical techniques cast in this manner cost five chakra less per rank of the technique.

tab Still laying on the ground after taking out a pair of hounds, Chosuke was definitely starting to feel the strain from the exertion he'd been putting his body through. Unfortunately, the battle was far from over and he couldn't afford to rest. Case and point, not long after he had just finished his latest encounter, another group of squids was already on their way. 'Ah man. Can't a guy catch a break?' he whined mentally. With the squids fast approaching, Chosuke was prepared to attempt to kip himself back onto his feet when suddenly, a figure came crashing down in front of him, crushing the squids before they could attack. After this, the figure rose to their feet and Chosuke immediately recognized them to be Shikane.
tab Despite the sternness of Shikane's words, Chosuke continued to smile at her, as was typical. "Oh. Hey there, Shikane. Glad you decided to get in on the fight." He then lazily somersaulted backward, rolling up onto his feet. "There sure are a lot of these guys. I hope Nozomi-sensei has more food in her office. I'm gonna need way more snacks when we're done." he explained, dusting himself off a bit. Just as he finished doing so, another squid creature came at him, which he promptly sent flying with a swift kick (Basic Strike [ Kick ] | Rank E | Simple). He let out a small wince, as the wound to his side was still tender, but other than that, he was fine. "So, what should we do?" he asked, turning back to Shikane. On his own, all he could do was follow his gut but now that Shikane was with him, he'd follow her lead. She was way better when it came to things like strategy and coming up with ideas.
Shikane couldn't help but to give her close friend an annoying scowl. Course, he wouldn't understand it. With a deep sigh she shook her head towards him. "I have a feeling Nozomi-sensei will send us to the hospital soon. And we are going to do nothing." She figured that the teacher would slowly start to get annoyed by these creatures and will soon eliminate them. She heard a shout from Satoshi as she tried not to look at his face but his feet. She wasn't sure what happened but she figured that he got hurt. Then the teacher shifted. What was the teacher going to do? Although, if any creatures got close to her or Chosuke, of course, she'll take care of them. Instead, her hand went to Chosuke's wrist as she dragged him, sent a swift kick or two. After taking care of two of the squids, she stood behind Nozomi with Chosuke in tow. She wanted to get out of the way for whatever the red-haired teacher was planning.

Oh. There she was. Huh. Nozomi sheepishly looked over at the trees. Honestly. She was a principal and she should pay better attention. After this was done, she was going to send the students to the hospital, injured or not. A soft and warm smile could be seen when Soyeon had mentioned that she would make her proud. "You already did." She said honestly. They stayed and fought instead of running off though she was mad and annoyed that they decided to stay because there are some situations that you need to leave. She can give a lecture on it later. Not all things you can fight off, even Nozomi herself would admit that. She watched Soyeon along with other students and gave a warm smile with a nod when Soyeon had a question if she did good.
Satoshi, on the other hand, was making her increasingly nervous. Him, Chosuke, and Botenmaru. That was the downside and perils of taijutsu users. Well. Satoshi wasn't taijutsu but he was getting close to the hellhounds for her liking. Sure enough, as one of the hellhounds had broke free of its fear, he bite Satoshi. Nozomi growled under her breath as her hands clenched into fists.
She had enough.
Soyeon ran up to Satoshi as she was right with them, "Alright. That's it. All of you, to the hospital, NOW." Her voice went from sweet to warm to stern and scary. It gave a hint that there will be punishment if it was not followed. The hellhounds bites were acidic so she knew that Satoshi needed treatment. She stepped in front of the students, making sure her chakra was higher so the hellhounds and squids can be more drawn to her than the children. She snapped her finger and wiggled her tongue inside her mouth that could not be seen as electricity started to rise in the area. Then with a loud crack, an electric wolf had appeared. So bright that the morning sun seemed dim. With that, she had directed the wolf into a 360, aiming to eliminate every single hellhound and squid there was.

▱▰▱Satoshi became worried for Soyeon when she jumped in to help him. One of her attacks was unsuccessful but as the hound counterattacked with fire their sensei's powerful lightning wolf overpowered it. He stared in awe of the powerful ninjutsu technique that she was able to conjure. He was confident that Uzumaki-sensei would be able to easily vanquish the remaining monsters. Her hollaring startled him into action immediately. Satoshi used his left hand to put his patch back over his right eye. He felt instant relief as the purple energy began to recede. He closed and rested his eye behind the veil as he sheathed his katana. His demonic shroud also faded away and he returned to his normal state overall. He looked at his acidified arm and winced before looking at Soyeon and responding finally. "I'm fine. It just stings a lot." Satoshi said before fast walking toward the hospital and complying with Nozomi's orders. "See you at the hospital, sensei!" The injured student said to his teacher with the fear of god in his voice wondering if he was in trouble. He looked at the other students Soyeon, Botenmaru, Chosuke, and Shikane as he walked away and indicated that they should listen to the teacher and go to the hospital with him.

tab Teeming with fighting-spirit, Shikane's response to his question was a bit of a buzzkill. "Awww. Seriously?" he whined. Sure, it was looking like they would need Nozomi-sensei's help to finish the job, but he still had enough fuel in the tank to take on at least a few more of the squid creatures. However, feeling Shikane begin to tow him by the wrist, he could tell there was no use in protesting. Clearly, she had set herself to this course of action. "Can we at least take a snack break before we go?" he asked, feeling his stomach begin to grumble. He had definitely worked up quite the appetite. However, after hearing the sternness of Nozomi-sensei's voice and witnessing her summon a wolf made of lightning, he decided that perhaps Shikane's line of reasoning was best. "Uhhhh. On second thought, let's just go to the hospital." he said, his voice far more sheepish now. He would then follow Satoshi's lead and take his leave of the scene. It was probably best he get the injury to his side looked at aways.
Botenmaru had felt the pressure coming on, becoming nerveous on what to do next. Just as his tension and nerves had gained the upper hand, Nozomi sensei would step in and utilize a high level lightning technique that would eliminated the pack that surrounded Botenmaru. With a sigh of relief, he would heed to the teacher's command. The armored boy clinked and clanked until he reached the sword he had lost and pullet it from the beast, slung it's remains away and sheathed it. Then, clink, clink, clink. He vanished toward the hospital.

The situation must have gotten serious! Nozomi's tone went to scary lengths in only a few seconds, directly after that Soyeon jumping in surprise from her outburst. She bit her tongue out of fear while her suiton just cast would take care of the rest of any dogs lying about. That's when she smiled widely. "Awesome! You gotta teach me that, Nozomi!" She spun around to face Satoshi again, seeing that he was wounded from the battle. "Satoshi?" Her worry grew, with her friend hurt more because of defending against an attack sent her way. "C'mon. Let's go get you help!" The young ninjutsu user said defiantly, helping the eye patch boy over towards the hospital. Somebody there would be able to take care of him!

The moment she did that voice, Shikane tensed up. "Oh geez.." She whispered. That voice reminded her of her mother. Her father was like her, laid back and a bit lazy. Her mother on the other hand? Was rather overbearing. And loud. Her classmates started to go one by one, leaving Chosuke and herself alone now. With that, her hand went around Chosuke's upper arm as she grasped it not too tight but then pulled it and let go once Chosuke started to walk. It was time for them to go to the hospital and not mention her friend was wounded.

She made sure that the students left safely and even control the wolf to slaughter any hellhounds or squids that chased after them. After it was all done, she let out a sigh of relief and the wolf disappeared. She smiled softly, remembering Soyeon's comment. Her dark brown hues were becoming light once more. The academy was empty. With that, she headed out and went to the hospital to check on her students.

Botenmaru had arrived at the academy once more by sheer luck. His anger had pushed him away from the group as he sought out more power. He would not become a weak link in the chain. His training demanded he be as mighty as any other knight, overcoming all that was before him. He tightly held his fist clenched as he pushed open the door.
Botenmaru threw himself into his studies, attempting to tune out his wrath. He picked up a scroll of the academy basics. With his new understanding of forbidden arts being called 'ninjutsu' he was able to adapt and learn these ninjutsu. Botenmaru would practice his Clone Technique and his Genjutsu Release first. These two would be the basics for what was required in the academy graduation test. It was important to him he be able to pass the village's standard for ninja if he were to join their ranks.
Next he would practice the Transformation and Substitution Techniques. These allowed shinobi to take the guise of another and replace their bodies with larger items in a tight squeeze to avoid damage. He would allow the chakra in his body to preform the forbidden ninja arts. After several attempts, he was satisfied with his efforts.
Finally, the more common of the ninja arts he had seen. These arts required the user have fine control of their chakra flow. The purpose of this was to allow them to firstly walk upon vertical surfaces with ease. The second was a similar method that allowed them to walk upon liquids or other surfaces without tensile surfaces. After some small attempts he was satisfied.

Having mastered the basics of the academy arts, he moved on to more advanced arts he had witnessed the group using. Combining elemental affinity to his forbidden arts, he was able to use stone and flame at his beck and call. The basic techniques of these arts allowed him to coat his arms in earth and throw large rocks with ease as though he were super powered.
Continuing these stone forbidden arts, Botenmaru would gather his chakra again. This time the boy would allow his body to sink into the earth. While doing so, he could move in short ten foot distances, allowing him to gain advantage on position with ease. The next and final of the basic arts would allow him to move the earth toward him as a focal point, drawing in all unfortunate souls to their death.

Continuing his forbidden art training, he moved to the flame element. Scrolls depicted what he would learn. First, Botenmaru would learn to make hand signs, which he found difficult in armor. These hand signs would allow him to focus his chakra into more powerful arts. His first art was a fox fire technique that created two orbs at this stage, even more later. The second technique was one that conditioned him to withstand the flames he brandished.
Moving to the next round of Ninjutsu training, Botenmaru continued his study of flame. Botenmaru's next conquest was the cinder technique. This technique let him snap his fingers simply to create a small spark to ignite flammable objects. Next, Botenmaru would learn Veil, a technique to create a bright hot flash of light. This was useful for blinding enemies. He had almost completed his elemental arts.
Finally, the flare technique. This technique created a ten foot ember that shot straight out. It's power was negligable to most though. Botenmaru would have inventive ways to utilize this otherwise useless skill. It would surely be used effectively.

▱▰▱Satoshi followed behind Botenmaru and had to speed walk to catch up. Once he walked through the front doors of the academy he had to find out what room he went to before finally seeing him. "Botenmaru, wait up!" He yelled before approaching Botenmaru who had already completed a whole training session. He supposed that he was being much slower than he thought. "Are you okay?" Satoshi asked the mysterious armored boy with concern. He hoped that his other classmates followed along with him. Satoshi was also prepared to start training with the others if Botenmaru was alright. He had several techniques that he still wanted to learn before graduating.

Having resigned his training with the elements, Botenmaru had resumed his sword and shield play. Discipline & Cross Class Abilities • Juggernaut [ Bukijutu ] | The user suffers no restrictions of movement or drawbacks from any armor tier they wear and it requires no slot consumption from the Inventory System. In addition, armor they are actively wearing are increased by two ranks in durability and techniques that are increased in effectiveness against armor do not gain that bonus against the user. The user gains a moderate boost to strength and fortitude. Once every three posts, the user is able to defend an attack without paying an activation for the technique, instead spending it upon an offensive action if the user chooses. • Combat Medic [ Medical ] | Shinobi of this discipline gain the ability to pay for their simple taijutsu as complex. This does not alter its strength in collisions in any way from a standard simple technique. The user's body is more attuned to adrenaline, which allows them to receive a benefit from their techniques which use them every other post versus every three post. In addition, the user gains a slight descriptive in a chosen stat per body rank but must utilize all increases in the same descriptive. The user's body is treated with the durability of medium armor without any drawbacks. Furthermore the medical learning reductions gained from this class also count towards taijutsu learning reductions. The shinobi gains three tai slots, one at D rank, one at C rank, and then one at A-ranked. Finally, the user is able to augment their Genesis Rebirth Technique. Not only does this discipline allow the user to utilize the technique twice, but each time the user is restored of 250 chakra. The user also deals with trauma they receive at one rank less than other ninja. • Medical-Bukijutsu | The user is able to slash their weapon at a target, applying a healing technique to it and casting it upon the target. Every three posts the user is able to combine offensive medical ninjutsu with a bukijutsu technique for one activation, paying only the resource cost every three posts. __ Tetsu made his way up through the stone steps and into the academy for what must have been the hundredth time that day. He had been waiting for this moment for weeks now, both planning to save up the ryo to buy the cloak and then to pick out the perfect day where it would be cold enough to wear it. He really had no other choice at this point, while it was true that the guards more than likely didn't recognize his face due to being a penniless gypsy son. That didn't mean he wouldn't instantly be picked out for not having any sort of headband visible. The key would be his nonchalant stride, Tetsu walked (or attempted to depending on where if any guards might be located) through the doors of the massive sprawling academy to learn the secrets normally reserved for ninja.

Satoshi carried Soyeon into the academy, the young girl being taken by surprise. A blush was ridden on her face, being hidden as she shoved it into her sleeved arms to prevent anybody from seeing her as such. Botenmaru had ran off without telling them, and she along with the rest of their group, were worried sick about them. Once put down, Soyeon would take to Satoshi's side. "Please don't beat yourself up, Botenmaru. We're all still learning." She gave a pout, but he claimed he was fine and wanted to practice more before the test. The girl crossed her hands, shot Satoshi a look as if to want him to get help, and then would look towards the bookshelf. Some practice did sound nice. Especially if she wanted to get a hold of all of that ninjutsu.
