On Monday Night War, Emma would successfully defeat Paige in a WAR Women's Championship first round tournament, advancing herself to the semi finals, in which she would go onto Taboo Tuesday to contest in a second round of the tournament. The same would be done for Candice LeRae, who would successfully defeat Kairi Sane in her debut match, going onto Taboo Tuesday. Candice LeRae will face off against Mandy Rose, and Emma will go on to take on Sonya Deville. Later on that night, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles would all face off in a Triple Threat Number One Contender's match to see who would take on Austin Aries at Taboo Tuesday. With all men putting no stops to their limits, Samoa Joe would show a huge force of dominance in the match as well as coming off as a fan favorite to win it, but in the end, after a failed miscalculated move, Styles would follow up with a pele kick to down Samoa Joe, and Daniel Bryan would take advantage of it all, placing AJ Styles in a heel hook submission hold, and tapping him out, going onto Taboo Tuesday to take on Austin Aries for the CWF Television Championship. In the main event, The Monster Abyss would take on Roman Reigns, as it would be a battle of superiority. Back and forth earth shattering blows delivered by both men, Abyss would later have the huge advantage when he would chokeslam Roman Reigns. Moments after, Brock Lesnar's theme music would hit as he would make his way to the ring and attack Abyss, causing the match to end via disqualification. Out of frustration due to losing to DQ, Roman Reigns would then assault The Monster Abyss, unleashing a fury of strikes, until Friday Night Throwdown's CWF Champion, Matt Gennison would make the save, and unleash hell on Roman Reigns just a couple weeks before their title match!
