"I don't think anyone starts out good," Luxara stated, reloading. "But there sure are hunters in the forest who are older than us who like to use reeeeally fancy tech that they reeeeally don't know how to use! Upgrades don't mean anything if you suck, is all I'm saying. Practice wins every time." And then she shrugged the best she could without hurting herself. "Life is rough. I just ended up closer to a constant reminder than most trolls. Never let it get to me, though. Guess that's what the power of friends is."
Her grin widened at Anguis humoring her abilities. Her last shot wasn't even that great, but he thought it was good? Well then. "I probably could but I shouldn't because you know, it's hard to keep it steady if you're not looking, buuuuut..." She glanced, saw something cross her sights, looked back at Anguis. Fired. Shrugged again like it was the most nonchalant thing. Her smile said otherwise, though. HP: 13/20 Attack: 5 + 1 = 6 Inventory: Agility trinket

TAMIYA IS ATTACKING BYAKKO PVP TROLL 12/20 Novice Agility A Trinket +1 accuracy this round!
Having gained her second wind, Tamiya struck once more. She attempted to gain some ground before the rebels, and in a moment spotted more rebels fighting the royalist troops. They were downing drones quickly. Disgraceful. "MERELY CHILDREN! GET YOUR ******** NUBS BACK INTO THIS CARNIVAL GAME!"
With another punch to a drone and a kick to their side, Forera was starting to feel glad for having worn Anguis's shoes. They were so much sturdier than her own old boots!

After this experience Tevini vowed to get her hands on a weapon and carry it around with her everywhere. Even though they'd been slowly making their way around the edge of the room there were still drones everywhere and trolls bleeding all over and kids inspecting the fallen! She was grateful to her new temporary allies for protecting her so far but feared that the longer this went on the more likely they would end up breaking apart in the crowd. She knew she wasn't strong or big enough to be able to do anything about it once that happened either.
"Y-yeah." At Etsali's attempt to lighten the mood, if only for a second, the young girl let out a nervous laugh and gave her a tense smile. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate the joke but rather that she was just so on edge that she wasn't able to be the best audience. Plus Scuttle was a very hit or miss type attacker with his battle of balance on his skates.
The turtle slipped as if to demonstrate this point and sped past the trio, scraping a drone before disappearing into the fray.
"Scuttle! Oh no! Help him, please! His brakes are bad!" Bright frightened eyes turned to Etsali. There was no way she'd ask Cerpin to send Blossmom to get him after the way he'd dropped them last time.
Scuttle has taken down 1 drones!

"Yeah dad! you're doing-- nyaaaaaaa!" After being electrocuted several times, Eridia never exprected to have a rope tightened around her ankle. "UGHHH SERIOUSLYY? CAN SOMEONE GET ME DOWN?"
Miache groaned in pain as he crumpled around his skewered leg. ******** pants were RUINED! With the torn up shirt he needed a new suit, and fast! He felt so........IMPROPER! He felt he looked terribly crass with he damaged suit, flecked with his own blood. Just stay away from hers.....the idea of getting others' blood on him.....he just couldn't.
Zeffer SLAMS his baton against a drone's face, because he wants to jam all night. He's the fiercest battle baby sitter this side of Alternia and it ******** shows.

"What, really? Why get upgrades if you suck, I can't even imagine how that'd help," Anguis said, making a face. "It sounds more like you'd hurt yourself while using it. At least you can't really upgrade a sword like that." He watched her reload though, curious on how it worked. He'd never really seen a crossbow in action, she was the first. He stopped watching her though to look her in the eye, an eyebrow raised. "Did you really just make a power of friendship joke? I mean, I shouldn't be surprised considering what I know about you,"
His jaw dropped at the shot though, watching it hit without her even looking at second time. "Remind me to never get on your bad side. That's honestly terrifying as it is impressive," He said, a small chill creeping up his spine. He was sure as hell glad Kursha was up there rather than him.

Zariah watched the escalating horror of the fight, blood was everywhere, traps were going off, explosives were going off.....what had he gotten himself into? What had he gotten KEI into? Their LUSUS? He needed to be stronger....he needed to be able to protect his lusus.....Kei's lusus. He couldn't see another lusus die for him.
Ah, there was Stryke. Keionx slashed at her attackers, cutting down two with one blow and, realizing that they were retreating – no dishonor in retreat, though it wasn't her style - and moved back a bit, taking stock of the situation and – more importantly – of her friends. There was Vremea, letting Kursha have it (at some point, Kei would have to figure out what this all was about... and possibly break it to his lusus later. If things went well). There was Odette... flying? Was Odette powered? Had she known that? Somehow, it seemed right that such extraordinary trolls as the scouts would have powers. There was her brother, fighting... FIGHTING... on their lusus, crashing through the drones (and posing) as only her lusus could. He was managing... things seemed well. Even Miache – her aquaintence – was doing well.
They were what she was fighting for, right? Were they worth fighting for? Well, of course, but...
But it didn't feel right. She didn't have it, not just yet.
”Are you?” she looked him over and grimaced sympathetically at the golden blood that flowed from some of his wounds. He was not so all right, but he was doing well – better than he had done in the ruins. He had grown up. So had she.”We should stay close.” she said, noting the position of the important people in her life in the fight, that she could see anyway. Was that Eph's horn, twisting amidst the crowd? She couldn't tell... She hoped not. Gog, she hoped not.
Well, things weren't calming down any time soon. Abrila jabbed forward with her shovel, protecting herself as well as trying to inflict damage. Hopefully, she would strike a vulnerable place!
The drone talked through Psykgi's bandaging, some sort of anecdote recited in a panic. That was just how some people dealt with stress, and Psykgi wished she could pay more attention to it... but now was just not the time.
"There you go!"
Psy chattered cheerfully at a drone as she bandaged him, "And off you go! Don't forget to drop by and tell me more of that story you had!"
It had been midly interesting, the drone's babbling, and she wanted to hear it in a better setting.

This round will continue for 3h, then we will close boss attacks for the night. Tomorrow will be the last day of the fight! Be there or be square. It will start at 6-7pm EST as usual.
There are 31 drones collapsed from fatigue! Byakko takes 67 extra damage! 32 drones get back up, encouraged to keep fighting!
Please post the boss you are attacking in your initial post, and edit immediately for damage done! If posts do not have damage filled in within 10/20 minutes they will have to be overlooked.
If you have not posted in the previous rounds: Now is your time to decide what team to be on. Your first attack will decide what group you are fighting on, attack Kursha to be on the side of the rebels, and Byakko to be on the side of the royalists.
All posts must have minimum two sentences of writing in them to count towards growth/meta rewards.

Royal Drone Forces: 99/120 The amount of remaining Drones is the amount of extra damage Byakko takes at the start of every new round, starting at round 2. Kids can either sic their Lusii (or unleash tumbling ball deaths) onto these drones, or cheer them on from the sidelines, encouraging them to get back in the fight!
Rebel kids: At each half hour, roll 1d4. That is the amount of drones that you have taken out through whatever tactic you chose! They truly are the storm troopers of Alternia. Royalist kids: At each half hour, post a flavour text of your troll keepint out of trouble's way and encouraging the drones to keep fighting in their own special way. For each kid that posts their cheering, a drone will re-join the battle!
“Come on!” Kursha snarled, a streak of blood staining the side of his face. He had not come away unscathed, and the battle was beginning to take its toll. “Is that all you've got?” He demanded. His expression was fierce. “Pathetic!” he spat. “You're just as pitiful as the cause you stand behind. Take your so-called high-minded ideals and choke on them!” Ripping one of the grenades of his belt, he pulled the safety clip and flung it down the tunnel. Upon landing, the casing burst, releasing a yellow cast fluid that spattered over the walls. There was a sharp sizzling sound, and toxic fumes fogged the corridor. “Ha! How's that?!” Rejuvenated, Kursha pitched several more towards the rebels. A steady hiss filled the air.
If you rolled a 1, a grenade strikes the floor at your feet, and showers you with acid. You immediately feel a rush of searing pain as the corrosive liquid eats at your skin, bleaching the tissue white before it burns through. Take 4 damage and try not to scream. If you rolled a 2, somehow, miraculously, you manage to avoid the worst of assault. Unfortunately, you’re surrounded on every side by a cloud of toxic fumes that burns your lungs every time you inhale. You’ve got to find a way out before you choke! Take 3 damage and an additional 1 damage for the first 3 half-hour posts. If you rolled a 3, the fumes from the acid irritate your eyes and blur your vision. It’s hard to keep them open, let alone tell what the hell it is you’re supposed to be looking at. Take 3 damage, and deal -1 damage for the first 3 half-hour attacks this round. If you rolled a 4, as soon as you see the grenade, you dive for cover behind a stalagmite and avoid most of the liquid. With your back pressed to it, you can hear the sizzle of the acid as it splatters against the rock. When the coast is clear, you peer around the side to investigate; the front is pitted with holes. That could have been you. Take 2 damage. If you rolled a 5, you think you’ve found a pretty good place to hide, when suddenly someone pushes you aside, and you crash into a puddle on the floor. Anticipating the pain to follow, you writhe and splash about. Then you realise that it’s just cave water… Oops. Take 2 damage and deal no damage for this attack. If you rolled a 6, as you try to find a good opening for attack, you feel something bump up against your foot. A dud grenade… no, not a dud. The safety clip is still in place. Pulling it, you fling the grenade back towards Kursha. See how he likes the taste of his own medicine… Deal +3 damage!
Half hour options: Fight! Teens and up can choose to attack Kursha once every half hour, as normal. Teens and up can also attack trolls on the other side as though they were fighting in a normal battle thread, however they will not be able to attack children as their Lusii will shield them from harm. If you want to attack other trolls, please read the PVP rules below to keep the battle controlled, fair, and friendly. Assist! Kids can roll 1d4 every half hour to get their lusus to take out some of those annoying drones! Whatever number they roll is the amount of drones they take out with their lusus-jitsu.
The Initiative's commander lunged over to a nondescript pile of rope laying off to the side. One end led into a crack in the wall, secured to some unseen mechanism hidden behind the stone. She spun on one heel to savagely hiss at the intruders. "You're a persistent lot- I'll give you that much." After a sufficient number of rebels raced past her, Byakko threw all of her body weight into forcefully yanking on the cable. There was an audible click, followed by a low rumbling that shook through the caverns. Small pebbles began to skip across the floor. "But if you want to live, turn around and start running!" Akko called out, disappearing up into the inclining tunnels.
If you rolled a 1 your foot plunges through a small tarp hidden in dirt, straight into a small hole lined with sharp wooden sticks. Skewering your ankle, you were powerless to try dodging out of the way of the incoming boulders. All you remember next is a sickening crunch and blinding pain. Take 3 damage, and take 1 damage for the next 3 half-hour posts. If you rolled a 2, crashing hazardously, the boulders bounced off the tunnel wall in front of you, ricocheting to the other side. A wave of relief washed over you. The feeling was short lived, as the next second a stalactite knocked free by the force of the boulder came crashing down, effectively pinning you to the floor. You can barely breathe under the pressure. Take 4 damage, and deal none this attack. If you rolled a 3, you curl up protectively and duck behind a large rock, hoping it protects you from the incoming threat. The boulder skips over your head and continues downhill, grazing the back of your head. Phew.Take 3 damage. If you rolled a 4, in order to save yourself, you wittingly dart out of the way into a smaller offshooting tunnel. While you lost sight of everyone else, you also completely avoided the trap. Regrouping as soon as possible with the others, you dive straight back into the fray of battle. Take 3 damage, and deal -1 damage for the first 3 half-hour attacks this round as you catch up. If you rolled a 5, darting in with the rebel troops, you managed to slip amidst the chaos before Byakko had triggered the contraption that was clearly inspired by a movie you saw once. Or had you just seen parodies of it? Regardless, in the confusion you take the opportunity to land a few decisive blows on the rebel commander. Take 2 damage, and deal +1 damage to this attack. If you rolled a 6, ahead of the pack, you charge fearlessly after the rebels. Narrowly avoiding the first boulder as it began it's rapid descent, you launch yourself at Byakko for a perfectly aimed blow at the back of her skull. Deal 2 damage, and +1 to all attacks that land for the rest of this round.
Half hour options: Fight! Teens and up can choose to attack Byakko once every half hour, as normal. Teens and up can also attack trolls on the other side as though they were fighting in a normal battle thread, however they will not be able to attack children as their Lusii will shield them from harm. If you want to attack other trolls, please read the PVP rules below to keep the battle controlled, fair, and friendly. Assist! Kids can cheer their team on, encouraging the drones to stay in the fight! For each 5 posts (between all kids, not individuals) one drone that has been knocked out of the fight will get back up and fight on.

If you want other trolls to attack your troll, or if you want to attack other trolls you must put this code in your posts whenever you are ready to join the player vs player fray - once you have put it in you must keep it in for the rest of the battle! There is no off switch. Welcome to the ride. By putting this in your post you signify you have read, are aware of, and will follow the rules below to keep things in the battle organized and smooth. Rule breakers will get suspended from the meta so please make sure to only use this option if you are prepared to pay extra attention during the battle.

You can choose to not attack back, but your troll must be aware of, and react to attacks from others. 3) Once you have attacked a PVP troll, do not attack any other PVP troll unless A) in response to someone else attacking you or B) the person you attacked has replied to you. 4) If the person who you attacked did not attack you back in their reply you can not attack them again, and may either wait for an attack or find a new target. 5) Do not attack someone who has not posted in over 3h unless you have received prior permission from them to engage. 6) Always quote the person you are currently attacking.
