You're handsome, I'm...not very attractive. I...can't dance, you're as graceful as the wind upon the bosom of Parva-do I really have to say all this to get you to forgive me, Shiva? This is ridiculous...you're a demon, you come from an App on my phone and I command you, damn it," the Boss growled out loud as the plan that had been devised to get his suddenly-rebellious Shiva (post-beatdown) to listen to his commands again...but the devil still wouldn't come out of the phone when called and when he did come out, only when not wanted, he refused to follow any commands. He was beginning to come to his whit's end when down the way in front of the warehouse they could see a horde of demons coming. Looking at one another out of the corner of their eyes, there was a mutual glint of excitement.
"Truce?" "Ho, ho, ho!"
...A fusion was underway to the sound of trumpets, and the devil's power flowed into the Boss, infusing him with the might to slaughter the horde that approached them. Yeah, they fought...but when it came down to business time? Nobody f***ed with their turfcows.

"I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"He passed back through the gates of the warehouse like a conquering hero. Light shined just over the tops of the nearby buildings bathing him in a halo of brilliant radiance, his dark jacket silhouetted just perfectly as he reentered the haven that he had so diligently guarded over seven days and seven nights. His eyes were dark and his lips were curled into a smirk, and all about the room there were cheers and compliments flying his way. A massive horde of demons had attacked, but together with his possession of Shiva, the fight had been long, difficult, but a successful route of the enemy. Once again it was a story for the ages, and Kakyo returned to his team exhausted but smiling.
"Rina. Beat."
"Turn down for WHAT?!"
Music blared in the warehouse all of a sudden and a beat filled the room! People started moving, even Mo-Po couldn't help doing a little shimmy at the top of the canopy by the upstairs window, as the party in celebration had begun. And at the center of the room the Boss stood proudly, pulling his wife close to him and letting her lead the way in a dance that he only half-failed at this time, a vast improvement from before. This was success. This...was happiness.

"I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"It was relatively quiet in the warehouse following the loud, out-and-out hilarity of the dance-off between the Boss and his tech-savvy follower. Suffice to say that the contest was so epic and amusing that it simply couldn't be contained to this one post, so if you will, just imagine something like a dubstep version of the runway scene from Zoolander between Derek and Hansel. And if you don't know what that is, go watch Zoolander because it's freaking amazing. In the end, however, Kakyo was able to max out his dance style with an unmatchable Dougie and went full-monk (again, Zoolander. Watch it) to pull out an uncontested victory against Rina that sent the entire Vultures team into an uproar.
And so she was quiet, humbled as she typed away on her computer doing some research on the Trumpeter while the victorious party simply relaxed on the couch with his wife, content that if they found no way to end this Benetnasch threat (just then a sound could be heard outside that resembled a demon battle...probably more epic than the dance-off but who cares about that?) he would at least be spending his later moments with the person that he loved.

"I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"Somewhere near the back of the warehouse there was a man in a black jacket digging around in the mini-fridge that the Vultures had kept for when the group was spending time in their base. It was actually a pretty well-kept, well-stocked base that acted as something of a hang-out pad for the most part...a fridge, a couch, television even...there was a reason the members of the gang spent so much time there. Naturally, most of the stuff that they had was ripped off from the Lin Kuei in some form or another, which made it all the sweeter that they had them. But right now, it was something in the mini-fridge that the Boss seemed to be looking for rather ardently.
"Who ate my frozen yogurt?!"
"Told you she'd get him back."
"Muahahahahahah!"

That's where we'll be coming from, so if you see us coming and there are enemies back there you can tell the others to come give us some cover. We're going down to the terminal to try and appeal to Trumpeter, and then we're coming right back. If the terminal is too overrun, we'll come back and wait for the horde to move on. Any questions?" He paused by the door and looked out at the crew, spotting one hand shoot into the air.

Just a few from his '2nd Party' were more than enough to tear through what lingered between them and the kiosk where the Trumpeter was waiting for them. He lent the 2nd Party's worth of devils to Hisoka for the time being and the trainer of the Vultures lead the way, no unfortunate encounters giving them too many issues until they were at last in view of the destination.

He's a sweetheart, but he's stronger than he realizes, I think," a familiar voice came from near the Terminal...and to the surprise of the pale man a girl with red hair and very few clothes came over to greet him with a smile, checking him once over to make sure that nothing had been broken or completely messed up their last fight, "You really did a number on me, too, though! I think I'll be feeling where you tackled me in my ribs for a while. ...But listen, I didn't come here to yell at you. I just wanted to make sure you were all right...that there were no hard feelings about our battle. I know it wasn't what either of us wanted...but at least we followed the path we believed in, right?" Contrary to what she might have been worried about, he wasn't mad. He had done his best, but he had lost...he had to accept that and move forward.
One loss had never gotten the better of him. For better or worse, he always got back up and kept fighting. Even when it threatened to kill him.
"Yeah, it's fine. That was a dirty trick, calling out the God of Destruction, though..."
"It wasn't my plan! He just kind of...showed up that first time! I was just as surprised as you are...though, pleasantly, in my case."
"Yeah...anyway, I wanted you to know, I brought Kotori to the warehouse..."
Her smile was enormous and the questions began to mount. It was the loudmouthed, high-school boxer from JPs that had come to the warehouse so many times the other day...and over the week...and here he was again improbably angling for yet ANOTHER rematch that would inevitably be interrupted and never quite work out the way that he wanted. And Kakyo wasn't going to beat up a kid like that no matter how much he was begging for it! Besides, the kid was good! He wasn't going to risk taking any shots from him while trying not to hit him back. That was just unfair! "What are you waiting for, huh? This is destiny! I come here looking for you and bam, here you are! What more reason do you need to put an end to this?"

Whatever, I'll take it..." the Boss couldn't help but wipe away the massive sweatdrop that rolled down his neck even thinking of that ridiculousness, looking over at his companion Hisoka with a look of utter exasperation before turning their attention back to the terminal at hand. How did Rina say he could try to access the database within it using his cell phone? Or was it by hand on the terminal directly? He couldn't remember...did it even matter?
"Come on...just work already and tell me your secrets," he kicked it once, to no avail, "Open sesame?"

Tell me if you can figure anything out from looking at it," the Boss sighed as he stepped away from the Terminal, too frustrated to continue trying to study something that was so inherently foreign to him to continue this fruitless endeavor. His hand ran through his hair and idly, he thought of his wife back at the warehouse and her hands running through his hair...their daily ritual...and just this morning when he had gone out before they had the chance to have their breakfast together like they always did. He hated to leave before breakfast, before he could compliment her on her pancakes and bacon and eggs...before he could surprise her with hash browns on days when he was up before she was and decided to do the cooking. There would be time for all of that in the world to come though, wouldn't there?

If we can just think of one way, one tip, one nugget of information we haven't been seeing clearly from the start, maybe we can turn this on its head...maybe we can figure this out and get the Trumpeter to listen to us. It must be possible...that b*****d Hotsuin wouldn't make this the plan if it wasn't!" the Boss growled, exasperated as he moved over towards a brick wall with the intention of putting a thick crack in it...but resisted, at the last second...for now.
