Dita stepped in front of Rex, "It looks like we will be battling too, Rex." She said getting ready to fight for him. Trinity glared at Gladius, "You won't be having any fun breaking us. We're too strong for that." She said as her hands went to her Pokéball belt. Her other Pokémon were back in their balls after they left the restaurant.

Rex nodded grimly, bringing out Aero and copying his abilities, taking on an Aerodactyl-esque appearance once more. Gladius simply laughed, the tone of said laughter making Shadow's fur stand on end. "You ain't the first to say something like that, gorgeous, and you're certainly not going to be the last." He grinned sadistically, holding up what could best be described as a pitch black Key Stone. "This ain't exactly perfected, but it should be more than enough to deal with the likes of you. Zen! Shadow Evolve!" The Medicham by his side was immediately enveloped in darkness; once the darkness receded, a Mega Medicham with glowing red eyes stood there, its bloodlust so intense you could almost feel it rolling off the Fighting/Psychic-type. Gladius grinned wider. "Ace, keep fossil-boy there occupied. I'll take Beauty and the Beast here." The cat-boy reluctantly nodded, sending out a Snorlax that didn't particularly look like it wanted to fight either. Shadow tensed at the sight, hackles raised as he took a fighting stance. 'Something tells me this is going to be a lot harder than last time...' His suspicions were confirmed a moment later when a High Jump Kick sent him crashing to the ground, the impact from the Mega Medicham's kick forming a fair-sized crater.
Big Brother - Shadow has become protective of a Pokémon or person, viewing them as a younger sibling. Trauma and Restraint checks may get bonuses or penalties if said Pokémon or person is involved. Telepathic Communication: Shadow is capable of communicating with others via telepathy. Should Trust drop below 25, Affection drop below 0, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.
Human Tongue: Shadow is capable of communicating in English. Should Trust drop below 50, Affection drop below 20, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.
Stable Aura: Shadow's Aura no longer induces fear in Pokémon, and fellow Dark-types will now automatically view him as a friend, if not borderline worship him. Should Trauma rise above 80, this perk will be lost until it lowers back to 80.
Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques: - Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however. - Aura Skate: Shadow applies Aura to his feet as a sort of padding, allowing him to glide an inch or so above the ground across both liquid and solid surfaces with speeds he normally wouldn't be able to achieve due to friction. This technique also negates the effect of slippery or sticky surfaces. However, Shadow must be in constant motion while using this technique; if he stops, the Aura padding will fail to support his body weight, and he will stop hovering. - Aura Berserker: Shadow overloads his entire body with Aura, increasing his power and speed to impressive levels and fully healing him at the cost of Defense and Special Defense; in addition, the technique has a time limit of 5 minutes, after which the strain of channeling that much Aura throughout his body will render him unconscious. Attempting to use this technique beyond the five-minute limit may result in severe and potentially lethal injuries. While using this Aura technique, he cannot use Dark Sphere or any other Aura Arsenal techniques with the exception of Aura Flare, since most of his Aura is channeled throughout his body and the rest is leaking out around him. (WARNING - This technique cannot be controlled until Shadow has the following stats: 40 Trauma, 75 Restraint, level 40. Until then, it will only activate under dire circumstances, and it will usually cause him to lose himself to his instincts, making him attack anything he perceives as a threat (and possibly a few things that he doesn't).)
Improvisation: Shadow can now invent unique attacks based off his existing move set, observation of others' attacks, instinct, or outright improvising. If he forgets a move, he cannot use any variations or combinations using that move unless he later remembers said move. Improvised, observation-based, and instinct-based moves take up moveslots, but variation and combination moves do not. - Dark Sphere (Instinctive): Dark Sphere is similar to Aura Sphere, but is super-effective against Psychic-types and Ghost-types, normally effective against Dark-types, and even less effective than a normal Aura Sphere against Fairy-types. Should Trauma rise above 60, Shadow will become incapable of using it due to the corresponding increase in his Aura's instability. - Power-Up Pummel (Combination - Power-Up Punch and Quick Attack/Extreme Speed): Shadow combines the speed of a Quick Attack with the fury of a Power-Up Punch, unleashing a flurry of initially weak punches that grow stronger with each hit. (Note: This move can be adapted to fit with other punching moves.)

"Yes well, I'll be the first to succeed!" Trinity countered right before Gladius shadow evolved his medicham. She gaped at the transformation. She knew it just got harder. Shadow wasn't any where never enough to get to his mega. She looked down to her pendant with the keystone. Torch would of been able to if he was a Blaziken right now. She had to dodge from the Mega Medicham's high jump Kick. "s**t." Trinity cursed before sending out her pokemon. "Aster, aim poison stings at them." She said before thinking on another command for the rest of them. "Shadow, charge up a large Dark Sphere attack and aim for the Mega. Come Torch and Saph." She said picking them up and climbing on to jet's back. jet took off in to the sky. "Torch and Saph rain down some fire and water." She said looking down at their opponents. Dita glared at Ace before using her magical leaf on him. "you will not stop us." She said.

Shadow complied, charging up a rather impressive Dark Sphere that hit the Medicham hard... only for him to hiss in pain as Gladius slammed a powerful fist into him, only the rain of poison, fire, and water keeping them from doing more than hit-and-run blows. Rather than giving the usual Team Rocket speech about how a brat and his Pokémon could never stop him, however, Ace hesitated, then simply gave a sad smile as his collar sparked in warning. "Let's hope you're strong enough to beat me, then. Chubbs, standard strategy." With that, the Snorlax moved in front of Ace, taking the Magical Leaf for him, before a strange aura appeared around him, only intensifying as time went on (Curse, used repeatedly). When Rex charged at him, Ace began engaging in a melee with the Rock specialist, his kicks and claw attacks oddly halfhearted.

Dita really wanted to help Rex and didn't want him to get hurt. her mega stone flared and she experience something amazing. She obtained a pre-Mega evolution. Her blue hair grew out to flow around her and her dress flowed down to her knees. Her form appeared more graceful. She took a dance pose before using her new move, Dazzling Gleam, flashing the attack all over the field. She took a protective position next to Rex. She used magical leaf but with her Pre-Mega form all of her moves are now typed as Fairy. Trinity was stunned at Dita transformation but had to refocus on shadow and Gladius. She glared and jumped down easily being able to dodge her Pokemon's attacks. She deliveryed a roundhouse kick to Gladius.

Rex, on the other hand, stared a little longer than Trinity did, face pink as he murmured absentmindedly, "So pretty..." After several moments, though, he managed to suppress the funny feeling in his stomach (maybe he should check to make sure he hadn't accidentally eaten a Butterfree or two) and focus on the task at hand. Ace actually seemed rather surprised and impressed by Dita's transformation, inclining his head. "You've shown the strength of your bond; now I'll return the favor. Chubbs, Return." Sure enough, the Snorlax plowed through the Magical Leaf, heading straight for Dita. Gladius grinned, easily blocking Trinity's kick and countering with a sweep kick. "As feisty as ever, I see; you're definitely going to be fun." Shadow, meanwhile, was (barely) managing to hold his own now that he only had the one opponent to deal with.

Dita grabbed Rex's hand and waved her hand. She used protect but it was amplified by her Pre-Mega. It glowed a beautiful pink. She was ready for the Snorlax to try coming through it. "You ok, Rex?" She asked worried. Dita looked over his body checking him for injuries. "I guess you have fun losing!" Trinity said jumping over the sweep kick as she checked Shadow. "Shadow combine a Power-Up Punch and a Dark Sphere to try and over take that Mega." She commanded. Trinity then threw multiple punches at Gladius.

Rex nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine; actually, I feel stronger than before..." he noted, face shifting into bafflement. "...Er, someone clawing you isn't supposed to make you stronger, right?" Seriously, he felt the claws pierce his skin, if only barely, so why weren't there any marks...? Meanwhile, Chubbs slammed into the wall with impressive force, but only managed to crack it. Still, the Snorlax persisted, and the absurdly Curse-buffed Normal-type was slowly but surely starting to break through with its repeated attacks. Shadow complied, making a Dark Sphere before punching it like one would a tetherball, the attack slamming into Zen with impressive speed and force. Unfortunately, while it worked, the pain only seemed to make the strange Mega Medicham angrier, the powerful Pokémon putting more force in its attacks. Zen launched a High Jump Kick at the black Lucario... only to instinctively cover its ears along with most of the others in the vicinity and crash-land when Shadow instinctively slammed his metal spikes together to block, grinding them against each other in the process that created a high-pitched, ear-splitting noise... and, coincidentally, caused Ace to fall to his knees, a bit of blood coming from between the cat-eared boy's fingers even though his ears were covered.

Noticing the pain he was causing his friends and mate, he stopped the attack, making a mental note to work on directing it if they got out of this in one piece. The Snorlax was, like its trainer, incapacitated by the sound, and ended up taking the attack, being forced to stand there and guard lest the attack go for Ace instead; on a side note, the. Gladius grunted, similarly disoriented and as such not able to dodge in time. Still, he got back to his feet. "Looks like your mutt learned a new move... still, he can't seem to control it very well." He allowed himself a small, sadistic smirk. "Can't do that without harming your allies as well as us... and I think it's been proved that his current moveset's still no match for Zen. Give up, and I'll consider sparing him." He opened his mouth to continue, only to stiffen as an ominous feeling settled over the area, a shadow-covered, bestial figure coming out from the shadows behind him with emotionless eyes and a bloodthirsty smirk. Shadow similarly noticed the figure, stiffening, immediately forgetting Gladius and Ace and focusing on this new possible threat. 'This Aura... whatever that thing is, it's a monster...' Shadow thought, absentmindedly noting that Gladius's normally-vicious Medicham had also become wary; what kind of Pokémon could cause fear in something as bloodthirsty as Zen? Rex similarly noticed the figure, but unlike the others, he also noticed Hunter nearby, out of the way but obviously ready to step in if need be. 'That's that Dusk guy's Absol... so then that whatever-it-is belongs to Dusk, too?' he guessed. '...I wanna battle it!' ...Apparently he didn't quite have the sense to be at least wary of the whatever-it-was.

Dita was panting as her body was growoing tired. She was forced to stop her Pre-mega. She opened her eyes to her normal form. Her megastone stopped glowing. The kirlia took hold of Rex's hand knowing he wanted to fight the new figure. 'A Zoroark?' Trinity thought before her next focus was to continue her battle with Gladius. "What's the matter, Gladius? Something scaring you?" She said putting on her confident smirk. Trinity's eye made contact with the figure. She knew it was a Zoroark from the fur and body shape. It was a trickster by nature but it looks like this one likes the dark side of jokes more. "I'm sure you want to give up now?" She said as she returned to her fighting stance.

Surprisingly, Gladius let out a bark of laughter, one eye remaining on the Zoroark. "You don't watch the news much, do you? Otherwise you'd know that this particular Zoroark doesn't accept surrender." With that, he instinctively leapt out of the way as something shredded his shirt and caused a stab wound dangerously close to his heart; judging from the size and shape of the wound, something had just tried to rip his heart out of his chest. A moment later, the Zoroark silhouette disappeared into nonexistence, and the real deal appeared right above Gladius in midair, an aura of pure darkness surrounding it, opening its mouth to fire off a powerful Flamethrower meant to roast him alive. The Team Rocket member only barely managed to twist out of the way, the cold, hard eyes and demented, bloodthirsty smile of the beast revealing its true nature. This was no trickster, no joker; this was a bloodstained killer, a monster in a Zoroark's skin, a predator that took delight in the suffering of its prey and only went in for the kill when it was done torturing its "food". Even Shadow was wary of this strange Zoroark, able to see the bloodshed it had caused in its aura. ...Rex, on the other hand, was being his usual idiot savant self and kept switching between drooling at the prospect of battling the bloodthirsty Dark-type and trying to convince Dita to let him go and battle it. Needless to say, his sense of self-preservation needed work.
Trust: 82 (Ridiculously Trusting) Affection: 92 (Inseparable) Trauma: 50 (Scarred) Restraint: 50 (Neutral) Level: 24 Moveset: Quick Attack (Obscurate-boosted), Metal Claw, Power-Up Punch, Dark Sphere, Metal Sound Perks:
Big Brother - Shadow has become protective of a Pokémon or person, viewing them as a younger sibling. Trauma and Restraint checks may get bonuses or penalties if said Pokémon or person is involved. Certain checks may even be passed or failed automatically. Current Siblings - Torch the Torchic, Saph the Squirtle
(Note: This move can be adapted to fit with other punching moves.) - Fastball (Combination - Punching/kicking move and Dark Sphere): Shadow creates a Dark Sphere, then punches or kicks it instead of throwing it. This not only boosts the Dark Sphere's speed and power (albeit at the cost of the lock-on feature), but also imbues it with some of the power of the punch/kick used - for example, a Fire Punch will imbue it with fire energy, a Power-Up Punch will make it even stronger, and so on.
Aura Tutor: Shadow is now capable of teaching Trinity and other Pokémon to use Aura. The ones that have the highest chance of being able to learn from him are Fighting-types and Pokémon capable of learning Aura Sphere. Students: Trinity
Mega Evolution (Deactivated): You have a Key Stone and Dark Lucarionite. At ≥90 Trust, ≥90 Affection, ≤50 Trauma, and ≥25 Restraint, Shadow can Mega Evolve.
Enhanced Memory: Shadow can remember more moves than most Pokémon due to the enhancements forced on him. A larger memory could theoretically be added, but exact details are unknown. Current Extra Moveslots: 1
PC Teams:
Trinity: Shadow Torch the Combusken Jet the Fearow Saph the Wartortle Aster the Nidorino
Rex: Aero the Aerodactyl (Male) Bur the Drilbur (Male) Dita the Kirlia Kabu the Kabuto (Male) Oma the Omanyte (Female)
Dusk Kozorra (will reveal more as they come): Hunter the Absol
Dita was quick to use Hypnosis to put Rex to sleep to keep him from trying to fight those that are much stronger. The Psychic/Fairy type looked at Aero to help her to protect the sleeping boy. Trinity smirked, "I think I'm lucky that it looks like it's only going after you." She said moving closer to Shadow.

Aero took the hint, getting into a position where he could best guard his trainer. Gladius allowed himself a small smirk. "True... but then, past experience shows he's not exactly prone to caring who gets in the way. Zen!" Before he could react, Shadow found himself punched in the solar plexus and being used as a meat shield against the Zoroark. Sure enough, the being seemed to pause a moment; however, rather than any hesitation, it had a bone-chillingly calculating look in its eye, as if trying to decide whether keeping Shadow alive was worth the bother of having to find a different avenue of attack, as opposed to plowing right through the Lucario to kill Gladius and his Medicham. Hunter's gaze sharpened in the shadows as he stood, the Absol ready to intervene if its illusionist friend looked like he was about to disregard the metaphorical moral compass.

Trinity made her move when the Zoroark couldn't. She attacked Gladius from behind. "Yeah and I'm more prone to helping myself out. That includes saving my mate." She said viciously attacking him from behind to get him to let go of Shadow. She wasn't above pulling hair if it will help out.
