What Connie was saying made a lot of sense, but Kia was having trouble thinking of a way to give hints without being too obvious. All of the solutions she was coming up with would definitely scare the girl away, no matter her sexual preference. Kia sighed in despair, thinking maybe she should just give up, until... "I know!" she exclaimed, beaming. "What if I invite her over for dinner or something, and then you can find out for me if she's into girls or not! You could be my wingman!" Kia was quite proud of herself for devising this plan, and she nodded and grinned, thinking, Yes, this plan is definitely foolproof.

  "Yea sure, ....wait. What?!?" C.T. asked, caught off guard by Kia's sudden suggestion "Kia, I am 22 years old, and you are just 16 which means that the girl you are after has to be in the same age range." C.T. said trying to explain why this idea might be a bad one. "I been through enough in my life already, I don't need to be added to some list of sexual predators." C.T. said shaking her head. "Besides, what do you need a wing man for? You got the hard part out of the way really. You just have to talk to her now, if your friends, there is no reason why she won't agree to go out with you, and you just need to work your way up from there." C.T encouraged. "Besides, I don't have the sense to detect if someone is gay or not, Esther's would be the one for that."

Connie was proving not to be as helpful as Kia had hoped. Kia narrowed her eyes at her sister when Connie complained about not wanting to be registered as a sex offender. "I wanted you to investigate, not ask her out," Kia pointed out flatly. "Like, talk about you and Esther, and maybe she'll be like, 'Oh, yeah, I'm into girls, too!' and blah blah blah." She sighed and shook her head, disappointed in Connie for not seeing her vision. "I don't wanna get my hopes up if she's straight," Kia continued. "That's why I wanted your help. But I guess I'll ask someone else to be my wingman." With a very heavy, very exaggerrated sigh, Kia flung the front door open and walked back into the house.

"Wait!" C.T. said moving quickly to follow after Kia before the girl could get back into the house. "I'll do it, I'll be your wingman." C.T. said, though she still wasn't sure she could do the job properly, she didn't want to disappoint her sister, Kia had come to her in confidence so she had to do her very best. "But you have to set me up at least, get the conversation flowing so it won't feel so awkward at least. I'll take it from there. Okay?". (Don't guilt trip me little sister.)

(Kia: Whaaat? Guilt tripping? Me? *grin*)
Kia's face lit up when C.T. agreed to be her wingman. "I knew you'd say yes!" she exclaimed, giving C.T. a big hug. "Sure, I'll get you started. I'll text her and ask if she wants to come over for dinner tomorrow." Letting go of C.T., Kia finally went into the house and hopped up the stairs to her room. Meanwhile, Katja and Esther's conversation had just ended, and the women, noticing Kia's change in mood, looked at C.T. curiously.
"What was that about, dear?" Katja asked.

"Did she really know?" C.T. thought warily, not sure if she should be a bit suspicious about how quickly Kia's mood had change, honestly C.T. had been heart broken for a moment she had really thought that Kia was going to think of her as a bad sister. C.T. was beginning to feel a little cheated, she had been dealing with Mag's puppy dog eyes for years, but Kia had gotten right past her defense in no time. She was getting soft. C.T. slowly shook her head as Kia turned and walked back into the house, she followed behind the girl slowly still shaking her head as her mother spoke up to her upon her entrance. "I think I just got hustled." C,T, said sounding and looking very confused.

Esther blinked. "Hustled?" she repeated, feeling both confused and amused.
Katja chuckled. "Kia is very... persuasive," she said, smiling and shaking her head. "I have learned how to defend myself against her, but it took many years." Katja supposed it was a good thing, but manipulative children were not always easy to raise, no matter how much you loved them. Still smiling to herself, Katja went into the kitchen to watch Alexei with the twins in the backyard.
"What did Kia make you do, baby?" Esther asked playfully, smirking. "Do I need to go defend your honor?"

"Yea, hustled." C.T. echoed with a nod, she didn't know how she should truly feel about what had happened, but she knew one thing for sure. She had a lot to learn when it came to dealing with siblings. She needed to get stronger it seemed. That was something her mother confirmed, letting C.T. know that she too used to fall victim too, C.T. wished she had been warned, though she supposed that there was nothing she could really do about it now. C.T. shook her head with a bit of a sigh as Katja exited the room.
"What did Kia make you do, baby?" When Esther asked this question, C.T. just smirked a bit before wrapping the girl in a hug. "She tricked me baby." C.T. said acting like she was wounded. "She wants me to try and figure out if some girl she likes, would be interested in a relationship with her or not. I said no at first, but then she acted so upset that I had to change my mind."

"Wait, really?" Okay, this was funny. Maybe it shouldn't have been so funny, but it was, and suddenly Esther could barely contain her laughter. C.T. had been asked to be Kia's wingman. Oh, this was going to be entirely too much fun. Esther tried to compose herself quickly, kissing the side of C.T.'s head in an attempt to comfort her and her questionable emotional wounds. "You'll be great," she said, hugging C.T. tightly. "I'll help you out. I have experience in this."

"Yea, really." C.T. said still sounding wounded as she hid her face in Esther shoulder but she couldn't help smiling against the girls skin as Esther started laughing, showing her no remorse at all. At least Esther was encouraging her, with a kiss to the side of her head and a promise to help her. "Good, because she wants me to be subtle and possibly talk about our relationship to peak the girls interest."

Esther hummed in contemplation as she released C.T. "That does sound difficult," she said, although she was obviously still playing along. She tapped her chin a few times in thought. "Seems like a lot of work," she continued. She glanced around to make sure they were alone in the room, then she leaned in and whispered, "What are you willing to offer me as payment?"

"Mhm very tough." C.T. agreed, stepping back and placing her hands behind her head. As she watched Esther think. "I don't think It'll be that much work." C.T. argued with a bit of a grin on her face, thought that grin slipped away when Esther talked about C.T. giving her some type of payment for her effort. "Well I'm crippled in the ways I can reward you, since you seem to think that some of our extracurricular activities are taboo while we are in this house. So... you tell me, what do you want?"

Esther glared at C.T. when she pointed out what Esther had said before and playfully shoved her. "And you should, too!" she whispered. "But it didn't need to be while we're here." Then she grinned and shook her head. "Fine, fine, I think I can do this pro-bono for you out of the goodness of my heart." She put her hands on her hips and stuck her nose in the air. "You may thank me now."

"Maybe I should." C.T. said with a bit of a shrug planting and placing most of her weight onto one foot. "But I don't, and you should blame yourself for that." C.T. said grinning at Esther as she placed her hands in her pockets. "Too cute to resist." C.T. said, and though she tried to keep a serious face, she couldn't help but laugh a bit at her own comment. "But seriously, I do thank you for helping me." C.T. said genuinely, before leaning forward and kissing Esther's upturned lips. "Take that as a sample of my gratitude."

"Too cute to resist."
Ugh, damn this woman. Damn her to hell. Esther rolled her eyes dramatically and looked away, uttering a disbelieving, "Oh my God..." But unfortunately it was almost impossible to hide her blush. Her lips broke into another smile when C.T. kissed her. "Now I feel like we need to vet this girl or something," she said, folding her arms across her chest. "Like, make sure she's good enough for Kia and stuff. Do research, do a background check. Is that a normal sibling thing to do?" As an only child, Esther was at a loss. She could handle the lesbian wingman role, but the older sister role was, perhaps surprisingly, far more complicated.
