"Okay ill have it ready when you get home" she said smiling. She pulled out her homework while he took a shower and got ready for work. "Okay. I love you too. See you later "she said kissing him goodbye.

Michael headed to work. Once there, he went inside and began to work, his mind wandering back to Alyssa from time to time.

Alyssa started on her homework and would get distracted every now and then but managed to finish her homework. She got up and started to cook chicken pasta with white sauce so that it would be warm and ready when Michael got back.

A few hours later, Michael returned home. Walking in, he smiled. "It smells delicious babe." He said then went over and kissed her cheek.

Alyssa smiled finishing up dinner when he walmed in. "Good it should be ready in a few minutes. How was work?" She asked him grabbing some plates.

"It was alright. A little boring." He said and chuckled. He helped Alyssa set the table then sat down. Once the food was ready and she joined him, he began to eat. "Delicious babe." He told her and smiled.

"Im guessing it was a slow night?" She asked as she sat down and started eating. She smiled when he said it was good. "I'm glad you like it" she said. "Want a drink?" She asked getting up to get drinks.

"Yeah it was." Michael said then smiled and nodded. "A glass of milk please." He said. "Was the homework hard?" He asked her.

"Okay" she said pouring him a glass of milk and getting a glass of juice for herself. She sat back down shaking her head. "Not really. It shouldnt take you long to do itb she told him.

"That's good to know." Michael said then took the glass of milk. "Thanks babe." He said and smiled warmly. He chuckled softly. "We're living on our own, yet we still have to worry about homework."

Alyssa smiled and finished her food and sipped on her juice. "Well we only have a few more months left of school. I'll start looking for a job soon. My bruises are almost gone and my arm is feeling a lot better now" she said.

"I'm glad there are only a few months left. And don't worry about finding a job. I'm just glad you're feeling better." Michael said as he finished eating. He helped put everything away and clean the dishes before doing his homework. Once that was done he sat on the couch with Alyssa. He kissed her cheek and ran his fingers through her hair."I really am glad your arm is feeling better." He said softly.

Alyssa smiled and nodded helping wash dishes and put them away. She sat next to him watching him work answering any questions he had. She smiled when he kissed her cheek and played with her hair. "Thanks" she said playing with a piece of her hair.

Michael finished his home work and sat back. "I hate math..." He said and sighed. He was alright in math, but he still didn't like it. Putting an arm around Alyssa, he smiled softly. He kissed her cheek.

Alyssa laughed at his comment. "Well you wouldnt be the first person to hate it" she said and smiled when he kissed her cheek. "She kissed him and rested her head on his shoulder.
