Gepardo ran cried out in surprise when he was hit by a flurry of wings while running on desk. A ribbon of curses escaping his lips as he hide Lilli under his coat.

A Pidgey dove in for fisticuffs with Dido, but it flapped away with a bare bottom. The Skitty spat out a mouthful of feathers. Pidgey: 6, Eros: 4

Two Pidgey joined forces to block Eros's way, but Dido leapt forward to tackle both at once. The three Pokémon battled in a whirl of feathers and fur and meows and squawks, but the Skitty emerged triumphant in a puff of feathers, leaving her assailants exhausted on the deck. Pidgey: 6, Eros & Dido: 5!

Launching from her hiding place, the ekans-turned-ditto tried to take a bite out of the attacking pidgeys, frightening them away. Unfortunely, since she didn't want to be left behind, she had wrapped herself around Gepardo's neck, nearly choking the man by her jump. He manage to bring her back to him to undo the coils before she manage to cut off his whole supply off air.

Lilli spat out a wad of poison towards an attacking pidgey while Gepardo dodged about, trying to find his way towards the balloons in the mess of feathers and claws before him..

The balloons were in sight. Eros spotted one or two of his acquaintances in a half-empty basket, and he made a run for it. They dodged a few more Pidgeys, but finally the boy and the Skitty broke out of the swarm. Eros scooped Dido up as he ran, and he dove headfirst into the basket. [Exit to Balloon 3]
