☽ Emma laughed again and was about to say something else but stopped. She looked like she thought of something but at the same time it looked like she was listening. She quickly sprung up then to get her clothes "And we should head out now." she said, quickly dressing. ☾

Never Again...Herald quickly got up as well, getting dressed. "Has it begun?" He asked her, though he was alreay 90% sure of the answer. He could make a portal to get them there without problem. When he was finished getting dressed he closed his eyes and focused, opening a portal to Death City. He could already hear the sounds of battle coming from the other side, in stark contrast to the peace and quiet they had been enjoying in their realm. "After you," he told her as he looked through the portal to see what was happening. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...The portal to Herald and Emma's realm ripped open as Herald came through, fiery green energy still whirling around him, incinerating the grass and flowers around him. He paused in pain for a moment, coughing up another mouthful of green blood from his damaged lungs. He reached out and slammed his fist against a tree, splintering the wood into pieces as the tree collapsed on its side. "I'll tear her apart..." Herald growled to himself, his eyes filled with hate. It was the LAST time that little brat would piss him off. He'd been putting up with her for far too long. He should have killed her earlier. He looked down at the tree stump he had just created, imagining it was Mirai. He raised his leg and stomped down on it, crushing it deep into the ground with a *crack* of shattered bark and wood. He looked down at the stump under his paw. It was only a matter of time. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma exited the portal, stepping foot back into their realm. Seconds afterward, she launched a huge fire ball up in the air. It went pretty high before eventually disappearing. She did this for several reasons: to blow off steam, and to try and reduce the fear running through her. Sure enough, the tattoos along her back and neck began to recede. She huffed, an angry look on her face before it faded and her ears pinned. She fell on the ground, quickly putting her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them, and putting her head down. What Atticus had said echoed through her head. She didn't want to be the enemy. She had been that too long to many people. Now she had to worry about Atticus impaling her if she ever left the realm. She squeezed her eyes shut and just sat there in a curled up position, ears still pinned. It didn't seem like she would care if Herald went on a rampage, she was going to stay in her little shell then and there no matter what. ☾

Never Again...Herald hardly noticed Emma's entrance as the portal closed behind her, so focused he was on his rage. Although this time, instead of destroying the realm he walked off towards the fortress, not allowing himself to show any pain despite the agony he was in. He walked up the winding steps and shrugged off the spirits that waited at the door to heal him, disappearing through the entrance. Gradually, the spirits floated down to where Emma was, gliding over and around her as they began healing her injuries and restoring her energy. Will I be bound in chains
