Fredrich sat at the table, his head propped up by one gloved hand against his cheek as he listened to Ethan list every type of orange in the world, and in order from his least favorite to his most favorite. That was one thing the detective would give him credit for, knowledge of oranges. He wouldn't be surprised if he saw Ethan as the CEO of Tropicana some day.
Both men turned their heads when they heard a commotion and blinked simultaneously when a naked boy jumped onto Fredrich's lap. The detective hesitated, taking a moment to comprehend what was happening, then looked over when he heard Ellery. "Uh, yes, I'll take care of him." he nodded and hooked an arm around Daniel to keep him from falling. As he climbed to his feet he looked down at Ethan. "Nothing's changed. The movies are in the cabinet near the fireplace." He turned his head quickly, eyes narrowed and the tiniest of blushes on his face. "... Frozen should be somewhere there." He strode off to the empty restroom before he could see how excited the Texan got.

ξllery Ѧdvimi Daniel whined as he was carried off, reaching for the bathroom that Ellery had disappeared into. " I wanna go into Mama's!" he protested. " It's bigger and smells better and plus, Mama's in there!" Ellery poked his head out, having heard the whining. Unable to really resist the boy, he sighed and nodded. " I'm almost done, anyway. Just bring him in and get him dressed, then let him go watch a movie with Ethan. And I swear, if you put him in that jumper that Cameron gave him again, I don't care how tall you are, Fredrich Waltz, I'll kick your a-s." He disappeared back into the room, the water running soon after. The child looked up at his father with a large grin. " I rather like that jumper," he said happily.

The Austrian smirked as the door to the restroom closed then made his way back to the living room, where Ethan waited with a teasing grin.
"Quite the family man, eh?" he snickered, only to get a sigh from the detective.
"It's more than I ever really expected, to tell you the truth." he said as he moved to the couch. A smirk spread across his lips. "But I guess they'll do."

ξllery Ѧdvimi" We heard that!" shouted two irritated voices from the bathroom. Around ten or fifteen minutes later, Daniel ran back out wearing overalls and a red t-shirt, black converse in each small hand as he scrambled over to his father and his nuisance. Hopping onto the couch, the young boy set the shoes on his lap and kicked his feet, pouting. " He put me in overalls," he grunted, looking up to Fredrich. " How could you let this happen?!" " Stop whining," breathed Ellery as he walked into the living room, looking and smelling a bit different than usual. His face was smoother and seemed to glow, his eyes edged with a bit of coal to make them look larger, and his lips appeared shiny from this light. He was wearing make-up! And even perfume! Well, it was cologne, but it didn't smell like his or Fredrich's! In fact, if they applied themselves, a person would be able to smell hints of Lock's cologne.

Both men were sitting at the couch by then. Ethan was doing everything he could to not burst out in song, but he swayed and hummed along. Fredrich sat at the other end, one arm casually on his crossed legs, where one foot bounced impatiently, and the other arm hanging off the back of the couch. Those cold eyes of his gazed at the TV, though clearly didn't pay attention. He must've seen this about ten times by now. He did look over at Ethan now and then when he sang, and when the Texan looked back at that stoic expression he'd quickly get quiet and turn back to the TV.
When Daniel hopped back onto Fredrich's lap, the taller male quirked an eyebrow at him then looked over when Ellery arrived. He stared at him for a moment, noting the changes in his appearance. He was more feminine than usual. Was that perfume he was wearing? "... Any particular reason you're wearing make-up?" he asked.

Ellery knelt in front of their son, fitting the shoes onto his feet and tying them loose enough for the boy to be able to tug them off later. " She's hated me since we were in school because I dated her friend, then dumped her when I realized that I was more gay than straight. She won't dare come near me, but seems to like Li-Na well enough. So, as it turns out, I have to dress up as my songwriting persona just to be int he meeting. Speaking of, have you seen Mummy's pink high-heels?" he asked the boy, gripping his waist and looking into blue eyes. The boy pouted for a minute longer, still upset about the overalls, but soon enough nodded and pointed to the closet. Ellery kissed Daniel's forehead, standing and walking to the closet. " Thank you, darling." Grabbing the shoes out of the closet, Ellery started back for the bedroom. " Bae should be here soon. Let him in, will you?"

He's sure getting into the role, the detective mused and nodded when given instructions. Hearing what might've been a muffled snicker, Fredrich turned his head to see a pale-faced Ethan covering his mouth.
"Now I get why he goes by 'Mummy'." he snickered.
"Even when he's dressed like a woman he's still manlier than you." Fredrich replied nonchalantly.
"Hey!" the Texan huffed, but his teasing smile quickly returned. "So, like, do you ever do it with him when he's dressed like a woman?"
"You realize there's a child right here, don't you?"
"You didn't answer my question~" Ethan said in a sing-song tone.
Fredrich rolled his eyes.

Li-Na Sim Daniel, not sure what was happening, but wanting to retain his mother's honor, reached over and smacked Ethan's arm. " Shut up, jerk!" he snapped, pursing his lips angrily. Just then, the doorbell rang, and Daniel ran to the door, finding a man nearly his father's height with black hair and dark eyes, and a bouquet of green gladiolus in his hands. " Is Ellery ready?" he asked, deep voice frightening the boy to tears and causing him to run back to his father's lap. Just then, a beautiful young woman stepped out of the bedroom, long legs exposed by the long slit of a brown silk cheong-sam. Her feet, delicately painted with clear polish and French-manicured, wore a pair of off-white stiletto strappy heels, smooth legs a nice pale color just an ounce off the heels. Her soft black hair was pulled back into a bun held up by two chopsticks, her vivid green eyes matching the jewels dangling from ears that nearly resembled shells. She bent a bit as she reached the couch, adjusting the slit of her dress quickly before setting her attention on Fredrich and Daniel. " Is he here yet?" she asked, her voice a little deep for a woman's, but still very feminine. Looking up, she visibly brightened at Bae's appearance and began to move closer, only to be tackled by the child who was still crying. " Daniel? Why are you crying?" she asked, lifting the child into her arms and petting his hair. " Scary man!" he yelled, digging his face into the woman's shoulder. " Don't go with him, Mama!" The woman, now revealed to be Ellery, chuckled and smiled, rubbing his son's back and looking to Fredrich. " Darling, I'm going to be late," he started, not noting that, for once, they looked like a traditional family. " Can you take him?"

"You must be Bae." Fredrich responded quietly as he moved to the doorway, glancing down only when Daniel ran to him. He laid his gloved hand gently on the boy's back then looked back up at the man. He wasn't quite sure what the flowers were for. Well, being one of the few that wasn't oblivious to everything, Fredrich had a gut feeling he knew what it was for, but what he wanted to know was why this punk was even trying. For his sake it had better be for appearance.
Hearing Ellery's voice, albeit in a slightly higher pitch, Fredrich turned to see a female version of the songwriter walking in. The detective had to admit, Ellery made an incredibly beautiful woman. S/he had the right curves, and the dress was a great compliment to his foreign features. Maybe it was because he knew that was actually a man, but even Fredrich found himself attracted to the female figure.
When addressed by the cross-dresser, the detective nodded once again and gently took Daniel into one arm, leaning him against his shoulder. "I'll have dinner ready when you're back, just send me a text or a call." he said and leaned in to kiss Ellery's right temple. "Don't steal too many hearts." he chuckled against the songwriter's ears.

Li-Na Sim" And you must be Fredrich," was his cool reply, tugging a cream-colored shawl from his jacket and handing it over to the stunning woman who wasn't... you know... a woman. Yeah. Ellery took the shawl and draped it over his shoulders, letting the fabric fall to his elbows as he was kissed. His lips, painted with precision a nude sort of pink and touched with enough gloss to look licked, parted into an easy smile, and slender fingers brushed against his lover's torso. " I'll be sure to be careful," he giggled in response, pushing himself gracefully from Fredrich's arms and allowing Bae to take his arm. " I shouldn't be long, no more than a few hours or so. If I'm late, don't forget to let Daniel fall asleep in our room. You know how he is whenever one of us isn't here. Oh, my baby," he cooed the last, watching his son sniffle. Moving closer, he tenderly kissed Daniel's cheek and stroked his cheek. " I'll be home soon. Don't let Ethan eat all our oranges." Daniel sniffed once more and nodding, leaning back into his father's shoulder as Ellery waved once again and left the apartment, heels barely gracing the floor as he walked into the elevator, a smirking Bae staring right at Fredrich as the doors closed. Back in the apartment, Daniel sneered at the closed door. " You should kick that guy's butt, Daddy," he gruffly decided.

Fredrich's dark blue eyes stared straight into Bae's, his stoic expression unmoving. His eyes were empty; they didn't show any signs of feeling threatened, but they weren't happy either. Once the doors closed and Daniel spoke up, Fredrich glanced down at his son and sighed. "Maybe." he considered. "I think your mother will beat us to it, though." he said and turned around to go back to the couch.
Ethan still sat at the couch, legs cross on the table amidst the many orange peels that were piled neatly to the side. He was eating one slice when he noticed the two staring him. Glancing over at them, he stayed still for a moment then shrugged. "He's hot." he said about Ellery then went back to watching the movie and eating his slice of orange.

Daniel growled down at the brunette, clenching his fists. "Don't talk about my mama like that!" he barked. "I'll have you know that he felt fairly warm!" He kicked his feet a little, trying to let Fredrich know that he wanted to get down. "I'm gonna throw away all your oranges for talking about Mama like that!"

Ethan paused in his chewing a moment to observe the flailing child. He was well aware that the hostility was because the kid still held a grudge against him for dating his dad, but it was still interesting to see time to time. If he said anything about Ellery he was sure Daniel would argue that it's the opposite just because he said it. "You're right." he said, testing his hypothesis. "In fact... he's pretty cool." he said slowly while giving the boy a suspicious stare with the quirk of an eyebrow.
Fredrich struggled to keep Daniel in his arms. The last thing he needed was to pry this hyper boy off of a screaming Ethan. Speaking of which, why was he talking funny? In the midst of his struggle, the detective looked up to give the Texan a questioning stare.

"You-" Daniel froze, not exactly sure how to reply. He knew that to be cool was a good thing, but he had to keep fighting Ethan. Left with no other option, Daniel wriggled one shoe off and tossed it at the Texan's head. "Bite me!" he shouted angrily, using a phrase he'd often heard his mother scream at his daddy whenever they're fighting. Such a jerk!
