Upon regaining his composure, Shaw knelt to retrieve his weapon and hurried across the platform. He dodged the growing, creeping fog warily, until he was almost to the next platform -
And as before, he lost his footing on the edge and fell. This time, however, he was prepared, and he kept his eyes open for the whole of his descent. When he landed, he approached the orbs in the center of the floor, the only feature of the mysterious, fog-shrouded island.
As he selected his prize, he felt weightless, floating up and back the way he came.

Shot after shot was let off as the figure easily dodged his attacks while darting closer by the second. It was very different from fighting with up close and personal. He had to keep his distance at all costs. He had to keep his focus and aim all while dodging.
Just as the sword swung at him he let off another shot that hit.

She remembered this path. This time she was not as cautious when she hopped from platform to platform. Even as fog surrounded her, Skaaal remembered what happened the first time. She fell, slightly more at ease.
She did not speak. There was no time to speak during battle. Not for her. She didn’t want to waste a single breath. The metal of her blade gleamed as she raised her weapon and struck. Her shoes skidded across the ground as she felt her opponent’s weapon brush against her skin, leaving a tiny trail of red. Ezophyr took a step into the fog slowly. He looked confused for several moments before the memory overtakes him. His image of the screaming girl makes him confused. Utterly confused. He felt like he didn't know what to do. At all. To the point that he just stood there for several moments.
However then the sorrow from the girl entered his mind. And the emotion is powerful deep into heart.

Here was the large platform again. She did not watch with confusion or curiosity when the shadows emerged, and finally a figure stepped out to battle her. Instead, Skaaal grinned and raised a hand to gesture for them to come at her. She was ready.
