"Margem," the elf says, standing and walking over to the red head. "I know how it feels to hear something that contradicts what you remember but she really is your mother."

Philip senses that something is wrong. He goes downstairs to find Margem about to leave.
"What's going on here?" he asks.
Anafontes turns to her husband and says, "Margem's leaving."
The daughter turns to the elf saying, "I'm not sure about that. Stuff seems so crazy in my life. I mean, what's up and what's down? You know what I mean? Everything's boggled in my mind. I need to go and sort everything out."

"Margem, it's because of the curse that you feel this way. Stay here. Your parents can help you sort everything out," Lael says, troubled by what's happening.

"I don't know what Lael means about a curse," the elf says, "But I'm sure your parents can help sort things out."

Margem glances at the elf and the albino woman, frowning, and says, "I have no idea what you're talking about, seriously. ...I just need to get out of here, that's all I know."

"Wherever the path leads me," she replies honestly, "As the wanderer lives, I shall live and do as I usually do on the road."
Arelen, who had walked in a bit ago, sniffs, "Let her go already. If she wants to go, let her go."

"I suppose there really isn't any stopping her." Darian says, heaing Arelen's comment. "And despite the tension between them I think Arelen said to let her go as much because it's what's best for Margem as because it'll get her out of the house."

Arelen exhales slightly before saying, "Whatever...."
The two parents glance at each other and roll their eyes. It's just another day in the Okalwa residence, aside Margem leaving.
The younger redheaded daughter steps up to her parents, giving them a kiss and hug.

"Come on Arelen." Darian laughs. "Admit it. I'm right. You actually care about Margem."

Lael sighs. "I dunno. She's not in her right mind. Something's wrong. Are you sure she'll be okay?"

Arelen glances around the room and says, slyly, "Are you sure any of us are in our right minds? Are you sure that I am who I say I am?"
Margem looks over to her sister, her mind confirming her suspicions but she stays silent as she waits for her parents' comments.
The mother of the two girls sighs, "I don't know what's gotten into either of you but I suggest that you two just stay away from each other. You were friends at one point; I don't understand why you aren't friends anymore. So why not just let bygones be bygones?"

Lael puts her hands on her hips. "You can, 'are you sure of this' and 'are you sure of that' all day and it won't do a thing, so why bother? When it comes down to it, Margem's sick. What caused that sickness doesn't matter, what matters is that she is. Whether she wants to, or feels she has to, go or not, one must ask, is it safe for her to go."

"I'm sure she can take care of herself, even if she is sick." Darian says. "Okalwa means Wanderer in the mystic language, travelling's in her blood. Wait, where did I learn that?"

Lael is still troubled. "That may be true, but we don't know a thing about this illness, or it's symptoms. It causes memory loss, or disortion, but that's all we know. For all we know she could faint suddenly, all alone in the wilderness, and die out there. No amount of experence traveling can get you out of something like that." Turning to the two parents she continues, "I know it is not my place, but can't you see that she is in no condition to travel? I do not have the bond with her that you have, but this much is clear to even me. You cannot allow her to do this."
To Darian she says sadly, "You memory, too, has been disorted. That is why you cannot remember how you learned such things."
