Sweet : 3 Is there any way you picture them meeting? Like Rashida lives ever so slightly apart from the Pride because her mate is nervous around female warriors (the ones in his family are....), but she's still part of the Pride and would visit her grandma and stuff and be sure to introduce Masego and Ekundayo when they were born. So Masego and Kelicha could probably meet somewhere around the Pridelands? Would it be more likely at Pride Rock or somewhere on the plains, and on purpose or by accident?

Kleicha doesn't live that close to the Pride either, because her mother is a chinchilla and is afraid of the lions herself.. lol Kleicha herself is kind of an oddball as far as her family is concerned.. Both of her mothers are quiet shy types. So it honestly could likely be either? Kleicha is more likely to spend time at Pride Rock and things than the rest of her family, but it wouldn't be that off for her to be out on her own scouting either.. xDD
Hmmmmm. Well how would Kleicha act seeing Masego at Pride Rock versus seeing him somewhere in a hunt? Like would she be at all likely to approach him? The immediately obvious scenario is on a hunt they're both stalking the same herd, but at different angles, without realizing the other is there. Which either leads to a botched hunt or an unexpected alliance that works well enough to make a kill.
[5/28/2015 8:33:57 PM] Aps: Hrmmm... well, a hunt might be better in that case. It is likely that she'd be a lot more snarky and bitchy if they meet at Pride Rock. Mostly because she might be bored and looking to pick a fight or tease someone for some fun. If actually hunting she'd have other things on her mind than immediately trying to tick someone off. And she does have a huge amount of respect for anyone who can hunt and hunt well.
XD I look forward to Masego running into her need to tease at some point. He's really serious and doesn't rise up to much. Like he has a friend who used to call him Mango, and after the first couple protests he just let it go as a pointless argument. His personality is so serious that I can't see anyone who has inclinations to tease or snipe leaving him alone for very long.
.....-turning a thought around- So random aside. We'll say they officially meet on a hunt (will figure out later if results were good or bad), but maybe Masego at least has spotted her around Pride Rock at a distance. He doesn't go there often and he usually stays out of sight, so it wouldn't be odd for Kleicha to have never seen him. If he admits to seeing her around before, what would her response be? Like shrug it off as an inconsequential detail or does she think weird or stalker?

She's a lot like her grandmother in that regard, though her grandmother is a bit on the lazy side and Kleicha is very active. Though, if he shrugged it off too much she might lose some interest, prey isn't as fun if it doesn't give at least a little bit of resistance. x33
I could see that. She wouldn't really stay still for too long anyhow, so it is likely that if she was at Pride Rock that she'd let her guard down enough to not care if someone was watching her or not. Oh, she'd definitely tease him about it and make a dramatic deal, but not seriously think much of it. It's not a huge pride after all. But she'd try to make him feel self-conscious about it if she could. xDDD

He was bad at this game; he had a problem to overthink or take things literally, and even having as much pointed out to him hadn't seemed to have helped him. A curious emotion stirred inside him though, looking at that slight twinkle in the back of Kleicha's eyes, though he couldn't have put a name to it. Acting on impulse in a way he never had before, he dipped his head and, taking advantage of her closeness, copied what she had done to him, with a light kiss on the cheek. Despite his words he did feel a slight flush, though that was more at his own daring and wondering where on earth such an impulse had come from. It was suppressed as soon as it showed up, no more than a single flash of heat that quickly cooled as he warily waited for Kleicha's reaction.

He found the mere idea to be the height of folly, though the look of amusement he gave Klechia held no hint of reproach in it. "I would most definitely not! I have hunted many a dangerous creature in my time, but none of have instilled more fear than facing a female in a fit of righteous wrath." He shook his head. "Without knowledge of their intentions I would be lucky if such impudence on my part would be seen as a good-natured act. It seems more likely that I would gain their enmity! Or worse, they might believe such an action held more importance than it did, and I should hate to have caused another grief of heart for the sake of a game." Masego smiled a little at Klechia. "You are an exception, as you started the game and treat it as a game."
Kleicha: -Half pouts at him, though it was definitely more of a tease than anything serious.- Oh come on! How can you have fun if you don't do random acts? And if they get upset.. than the game turns to cat and mouse, and that can be fun in itself! Besides... I could protect you.. -Giggles again.-

The same random urge threaded its way through his mind, though this time he knew it for what it was and didn't allow it to find an impulsive outlet. The urge to tease. As he pondered his response he felt his body reacting; it was like being on a hunt, thrilling, but also with the same sense of danger should he put a paw wrong. "Perhaps," he murmured. He gave Klechia a sidelong glance. "Though-," he added, voice lightening and taking what he hoped were the proper subtle tones, "-I have not been known to leave a game half-finished." He hoped he was doing all of this properly. It wasn't anything he'd ever done before, and quite honestly behind that little excited feeling was the fear he looked a little...foolish.
Kleicha: -Her brow raised at him, tilting her head to one side as she tried to figure out exactly what it was he meant.- Sooo.. does that mean you'll take the challenge? Of course.. a game can only be fun if you're willing to up the stakes.. -Gives almost a cheshire-like grin.-
Masego: "Let's just say that your challenge is accepted, but on my own terms. I do very much like to win so you can be assured I will do my best, but with the hunt it is wise to recognize when you've hit a point where you should cut your loses. I imagine this type of game is similar." He mimicked Klechia's posture with the cocked head and raised eyebrow. "What is it you have in mind for raising stakes?"
