She was rather amused with the chaos, even if she hadn't caused it. It was the ideal sort of chaos that a person would want if they had left in the night, and didn't want anyone to realize it. If only she would have paid more attention to the other people, maybe she'd be able to notice if anyone was missing. Too late now. Maybe she should keep a better eye on things. "Glam? Glameow?" The pokemon said, nudging the pirate. The human was thinking too hard, and not paying attention to her. Jade smiled softly, and petted the Glameow, before noticing someone muttering that this couldn't be very good. That was probably the understatement of the hour, but she couldn't blame him for that, and she moved closer to Dave. " This is quite the mess, isn't it. "

Koorie, after having spent some time re-treating the wound on her shoulder and thoroughly checking over Miu, joined the group. After staying in the background and just listening to the group, she finally stepped up and joined the conversation. "What can my vulpix and I do to help." This was a serious matter, and though she had joy from the fact that her own companion was still with her, it was an incredibly concerning matter that so many pokemon were missing.

Gepardo looked at the list and the efforts being made. "I don't think the pokemon were lure away with berries or such, almost all pokemon in this list were injure from the battles. I think the bets course would be to look for vehicle tracks, think about it, some of these are heavy weights."

"There might be scents that are out of place, too," Dora said, breaking her silence to offer a suggestion she had been mulling over for a few minutes now. "Strange pokémon, people that weren't in the group... there would be some form of trace..."

------------------------------------- Cara nodded. "I agree. A Dragonair and Arcanine are not the lightest pokemon in the world and there must be some signs of a struggle if they were taken by force." She finally had her head on straight and her thoughts were clear. There was a reason their pokemon were missing and they were going to find it out.

Cael looked back at the other boy and tried to look stronger than he felt. "They say the missing pokemon might have been stolen, or taken away. Cloud's gone, what am I gonna do? What will happen if another wild pokemon attacks?" he said, trying to count the Pokemon that were still here. Would they be enough to defend them? "Should-? I should join one of the search parties. They were talking about..." He stated a little distantly, clutching the safariball from the supply pack to his chest and looking out at the groups. He didn't even notice the pirate lady approach.

"If you're going to join a thearch party then Mileth and I will too. Itth not fair that we should have our pokemon and they don't," he said to the owner of the Glameow. Miles barked his agreement and support.

Shaun listened to all the ruckus about missing pokemon, frankly at a loss for what to do. Though seeing that they were down several pokemon, he used a potion on Salvo to make sure his was at full strength. If they got attacked again, they'd need every pokemon to fight. Though he had noticed that Salvo hadn't exactly been the MVP of the battle with the Houndour. He blamed that on himself for never training his pokemon for any sort of combat. Come to think of it, Salvo has lost ever battle he'd been in since coming to Zatao, and Shaun could count those battles on one hand. When the subject of search parties, came up, he added his voice to the mix. " Salvo and I can fly up to try searching," he offered. " He can carry another person with him, maybe two if they're relatively light."

Mortimer yawned and stretched. Last night's sleep wasn't the most pleasant in the world by large. Sleeping on the hard ground tended to give you a sore back after a few hours along with achy joints, especially when you were as old as he was.
When the shout was made, it took the elderly trainer to realize where he was at. But when those bleary eyes did come into some focus, he automatically checked for Herbert, who thankfully, was curled up right by his side.
Relieved, he sighed and wandered up towards a group of people, concern evident in his wrinkly features. "Who's pokemon went missing?" He asked, late to the group.
A grim frown formed on his face when he couldn't see no hide nor hair of d**k. "Does anyone know where my grandson is?" he asked, stuffing his hands in his sweater vest as he fought the urge to pace.

These poor landlubbers. They had no idea what to do when things didn't go as planned, and she smiled at Cael reassuringly. " We've got more than enough people and pokemon that we'll be alright if another attacks." Might not be the most league appropriate of fights, but they'd survive. That was the pirate way. As for a search party, he had a Growlithe, and there were enough of them right here to make a decent sized group. " Why don't we form our own?" she suggested, motioning towards the people directly around them. " Too big o' a search party and thin's tend t' be missed."

Osmond spread his hands out before him than stuffed them into the denim pockets of his jeans. "Ah, there's been a good amount of people's Pokemon who went missing. More than one can count on their fingers," the officer said as he twisted up his lip in dismay. "With 'em, some people seems to have gone missing too. Hate to admit it, but I think your d**k might be one of them. I don't like jumping to conclusions though, bud. I think it'd be best to wait it out until he returns. That's what the most of us seem to be doing anyway."

Lizzie's face paled as some people began to discuss the possibility of Pokemon stolen. If there were thieves among them, that would only mean one thing.
Team Rocket.
Come to think of it, wasn't this whole situation like the one a couple years ago? When Team Rocket enticed a crowd of adventurers with a promise of an Eevee swarm? And they ended up capturing an entire town and the lot of them? They were lucky that they were able to escape and reunite with their Pokemon. Lizzie did not want to test her good fortune even further. Especially when she didn't know anyone in this group intimately. For all she knew, everyone could be Rocket grunts undercover, trying to take her legendary Pokemon from under her nose. Yes, even that kid Remy might be one of the bad guys.
She couldn't stay here, not when she couldn't trust anyone. "I'm going to search for any clues from the air." Lizzie said to anyone that might listen. She packed up her sleeping bag and other supplies before mounting Psywater and taking off into the sky without another word.

Cara wondered who exactly she could trust. It occurred to her that if their pokemon were indeed stolen, it had to have been by people in the group. She then started thinking about who would steal pokemon and that was when it came to her.
Team Rocket
They were notoriously known for stealing pokemon and using them to further their nefarious deeds. The problems now were figuring out who to trust and how to get their pokemon back.

"Our own thearch party would be good I thuppothe," Dave admitted. "But we should think about thith. Where would the pokemon have gone? Think logically," he added. "And maybe we should make a note of who'th in which group, jutht in cathe any of uth go mithhing too." Miles huffed. "I don't think this is a good plan at all," he said to himself.

"I'm right here, gramps!" Arwen called over to Mortimer's familiar voice, hopefully calming him before he could get a heart attack or something. He was about to go to the old man when a suggestion loud enough to reach him could be heard, and he turned to glance at Jade.
"Sounds good," he said, perking up at the stranger's suggestion. He'd just finished packing the supplies he'd brought and was ready to set out and help if it was needed of him.
"I've got my Poochyena around still, thankfully. She's... somewhere around here," he said tentatively, looking around and wondering if she'd run off again.
Parthenius was only a few feet away from her trainer. She'd gone up to Cael as soon as she could and had given him a happy good morning bark. She'd heard some people had gone missing and was glad the boy wasn't one of them! But... why did he look so sad?
