She looked up at him and nodded when he questioned her about bungee jumping. As he walked away towards the sink, she looked back at the syringe in her hands. Now holding it to the soil, she began slowly planting spores. "Alright, I got this," she said more to herself.━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander

The syringe squirted the tan powder into the air, and it spread itself over the counter, some of the floor, and Danny. "Alexander!!" she yelled, turning to him and looking down at herself. A small smile was fighting its way past the disapproving frown she was wearing, the corners of her mouth turning up slightly. As Danny looked down at herself he attempted to apologize but his voice quivered and he was unable to hold back his laughter. After a moment he placed a hand on her shoulder. "I am sorry, I couldn't resist it, love." He said. "You were just concentrating so hard."╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"Now I gotta clean all this up," she said, sticking her tongue out at him. She looked around for some kind of rag to clean herself up with, and as soon as she found something, there was the sound of a car parking itself outside the shop. "Oh great... of course he comes right after you make me spray fungi everywhere," she teased, grinning back at Alexander.━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander

Alexander said cheerfully as he picked up the syringe and injected what was left of the spores into the dirt. "As for these," he said, brushing the dust off of the counter and into the dirt. "They're generally an easy clean up. You can usually just shake them off of your clothes." He said, stirring the dirt some with the spout of his watering can then watering it as the bell on his door tinkled. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"If fungi start growing on my clothes, I know who to blame," she said laughing as Louis walked into Alexander's shop. "Danny?" he called as he looked around and finally spotted her behind the counter. "Danny, what happened?" he asked as he walked over and looked over her figure, referring to her clothes covered in the tan powder."Hello to you too," she said shaking her head before she looked up at Louis and said,"Well, I was inoculating some fungus spores... " she looked up at Alexander with a grin before turning back to Louis, "when I was startled and sprayed some everywhere."━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander and Louis

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander laughed. "Do you usually leave your clothes in shady, damp places?" he asked as he turned to face the newcomer. He returned Danny's grin as she looked at him then set to analyzing this human boy. From what Alexander could see, he wasn't anything special, no even by human standards. I could break him over my knee if I had to. He thought idly as he leaned on the counter. Rasiel slipped in past the slowly closing door then, his muzzle and front paws bloody. He froze as he passed Louis and looking over his shoulder at him, as if just noticing him. He turned and stared at the boy with golden eyes for a moment before leaping up onto the counter and proceeding to clean his paws and face. Alexander tsked and got a rag to clean the foxes face.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"Oh, I was planting fungi," she said, imitating Alexander's answer to when she had asked the same question before. She smirked but didn't bother to look at Alexander, knowing he would catch on to her teasing without her having to make it obvious. Louis gave her a confused expression before saying, "Whatever." He gave Alexander a quick look over before spotting Rasiel hopping up on the counter. His eyes widened at the sight of the little foxes mouth, but shook his head a little before asking, "And you are?" He stopped himself and after a second he corrected himself and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Louis," He stuck a hand out towards Alexander, his other hand in his pocket. Danny smiled as Louis introduced himself, glad that he wasn't trying to be bratty. Alexander thought as he reached out to grasp the Louis's hand, perhaps a bit stronger than necessary. "My name is Alexander Xaverkas, and I am, as well as the owner of the shop." He said. He was smiling, but his grey eyes glinted silver. "I am also therefore currently Danny's employer, so I should suppose it is my fault she's not had as much time to spend with you." He added. His tone was almost completely sincere, as was his smile, and anyone not paying attention would think so. Still, he made a mental note to remember to be as friendly as he could at the time. After all, Danny liked this kid for some reason and he'd hate to upset her. Plus he couldn't just break his joints like some of her unrelenting suitors in the past.

"So are you happy now? I'm safe, alright? I'm just busy, that's all. I have a job here," she said, glancing up at Alexander before turning back towards Louis. The tan haired boy looked up towards Alexander for another minute before saying to Danny, "What happened to the bakery?" Danny looked a little guilty at first before answering,"I just... I guess I just stopped showing up, and obviously they let me go. I don't know," she shrugged it off, but Louis wasn't having any of it. "Just stopped showing up? Dan, that's not like you. Come on, we're going home," he said, grabbing Danny's hand and pulling her out from behind the counter. "Hold on! I don't have to go anywhere," she said strongly before planting herself back by Alexander. "I'm gonna try to hold on to this job." However, Danny had a hold on the situation and placed herself in her prior position once more. Alexander openly glared at Louis, figuring any charade now would be useless, though he kept his mouth shut. He figured, at the moment, it would be best to not say anything.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

No, scratch that, past few weeks. Ever since I took you to that fair a while back you've been totally different. That fortune teller must have gotten to your head..." Louis said, running a hand through his hair. Danny remained silent, and looked away. "It's Danny," she said, her eyes glued to the floor. "What?" Louis asked, now getting annoyed. "My name is Danny!" Her eyes shot back towards Louis, her brows furrowed. "I've told you before, I hate it when you can me Dan. Call me Danielle for Pete's sake, just not Dan! See, you don't even listen to me either." She took a small step towards Alexander, her eyes still on Louis. "You know, I think it's best that you leave, Louis." Her eyes remained tense, and Louis looked her over for another moment before shaking his head and his eyes then landed on Alexander before he finally said, "Fine, I'll leave. "Sorry to say it, but I'm not too fond of your boyfriend's attitude, Danny." He said quietly, his posture still rather rigid even as the car pulled away. After a moment he looked at her and placed a gentle hand on her arm. "Are you alright?" He asked, his tone warmer.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
