 He who dares__________________________Eric nodded as he listened to Dara and Emma talk. Just over a year ago he would have agreed with Atticus about not giving a crap about "friends" though for very different reasons. Things had changed since then however. He shook his head. This was all so wrong. But he would set it right. Once he set himself on a goal he was going to get it done. And he was going to get Atticus back to normal. For everyone's sake. Dara had pretty much hit the nail on the head with her explanation in the way only she could. He wasn't too good with the emotional, mushy stuff but Dara seemed to be able to explain it well. He looked back at Jack. "Sorry about all this..." he muttered before turning back to the argument. WINS

As everyone seemed to have been in an heated discussion of some-sort, they would all feel a deep, dark presence flow into the room. The presence was so strong that the wood inside the house and glasses began to creak and crack under the extreme pressure. Just then, a portal appeared right in the center of the living room and from within the portal, a man clad in black robes and a weirdly shaped black hat would emerge, with a bird sitting atop is head. Though the man appeared to have been a complete stranger the soul and presence that he gave off was the same as that of Sanctum. Smiling the man looked around the room and scouted everyone there, "My, oh my! Looks like the entire gang is here. Just like the good old times, eh, Atticus?" the man asked. "Well, I have no time to chit-chat, I have other things to do, so I will make this short." Snapping his fingers, a white portal appeared behind the area where Shira was sitting and attempted to suck her in. He would also unleash multiple orbs of energy that appeared to destroy anything it touched and they were all launched at the others, except Atticus. "Little birdy, if you wish to know, that long-haired fellow over there with the rather boring expression on his face, is Atticus, my counter-part." Sanctum told Scratch, but why would he do such a thing, he pretty much handed him the key to defeating him.

Barriers appeared around the orbs, making them explode inside it. "Got them all..." She muttered. Shira yelped and grabbed hold of the couch handle and holding on. Her side singed slightly. "Who is that?" She muttered as she held onto the couch and tried to keep herself from being sucked in." ☾

He who dares__________________________Eric spun around as he felt the dark presence. In seconds it was clear where it was coming from. Fortunately Emma reacted fast enough to contain the explosive orbs. "Well, speak of the devil," Eric said with a grin. "We were just talking about fetching you and caging you back up but you saved us the trouble of the first part." His wavelength began to rise drastically as he prepared to fight. "Not sure how we're gonna do it yet, but beating you up first seems like a good start." As Jack launched himself towards Shira, Eric came towards Sanctum with a spinning kick, attempting to kick him across the face. WINS

⋘≪The Raven of Blackwing≫⋙ ◥By My Lady's Leave◤ ◥For My Lady's Sake◤ Scratch's attention snapped towards Atticus and he immediately began reading his soul. His reading was interrupted, however, when Eric made his attack, forcing Scratch to take off and fly out of the way. He hovered over the room, looking down at each of them in turn as he read their souls. So far Sanctum was doing as he was told, but these were merely the opening shots. He preferred not to get involved personally, but he would if he had to.

Sanctum watched as the blue-haired girl stopped his orbs from causing too much damage and one of the boys lunge towards Shira, trying to help her from falling into the portal. "So much for in and out." Sanctum muttered as he looked up at Scratch, "Perhaps you should go to somewhere safer, wouldn't want you to get hurt." Sanctum suggested, almost sounding like he intended for Scratch to get injured, but as he looked up, Scratch had already left his hat. While this happened, Atticus was staring in disbelief as Sanctum was the one person he would need in order to gain his memories back, but now wasn't the time, to ask him question. With Shira right next to him, Atticus reached out his hand and tried to grab Shira, "Come on." he called out. Not paying attention to Sanctum or Eric at all. Hearing Eric, Sanctum grabbed the tip of his hat and stood there, "You say you were searching for me? I am flattered that you are thinking about me." he said as the moment, Eric kick was close to him, Sanctum would vanish, leaving only an after-image and appear right by Shira, Jack, Dara and Atticus, "I guess I could spare a little of my time, what say you, birdy?" he asked as he reach for Atticus and sent him crashing into the wall. Sanctum then aimed a sword right at Dara's head, while simultaneously aiming another at Jack's torso. It was evident that his target was none of than Shira.

She felt Sanctum get ready to attack "Watch out!" she snapped before her grip loosened slightly and she moved closer towards the portal. Emma swore under her breath "I only have enough energy for one more barrier... dammit." she muttered as she decided to use it on Dara. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

As Jack dodged his sword and attempted to strike him and the blue-haired girl, using what little power she had in order to protect Dara, Sanctum vanished like before and appeared next to Jack, sitting on the couch with the same smile on his face, "Don't rush into battle against an unknown opponent, boy. You could could get hurt." Sanctum warned, watching as Shira was slowly being pulled in. Looking at her, Sanctum reached over and lifted up her shirt, revealing to all of those there, a weirdly shaped seal, that gave off a similar energy to that of Sanctum's. "Glad to see that it is still there. It would be bad, if our contract was destroyed because of your little memory problems." told her as he then pushed her, trying to get her to fall completely into the portal. Pinned deep into the wall, Atticus struggled to get himself free, but stopped as he saw the mark on Shira's side, "A contract? But how? When?" he asked as he knew then, that Shira must have made some sort of deal with Sanctum, but that didn't matter now. Finally breaking free, Atticus landed on the ground and dashed towards Shira, trying to reach her in time. However, he would be stopped by another headache, which caused him to fall to his knees. Noticing this, Sanctum seemed to have some sort of idea as to what was going on with Atticus, as proof of this, Sanctum pointed at his head, "You wish to know what I know?" he asked.

He who dares__________________________Eric made an annoyed expression as Sanctum disappeared, but he wasn't surprised in the slightest. He turned around to see Sanctum attack the others, making it clear that his target was Shira. he was about to lunge towards Dara to protect her when Emma used her last barrier to deflect the blade coming at her. Eric inwardly breathed a sigh of relief before turning back to Sanctum. He hadn't forgotten about the bird; though he had no idea who or what it was, it was clearly with Sanctum and that was more than enough to make it an enemy. For now it seemed to be harmlessly flapping around in the air so he only paid enough attention to it to be aware if it did anything strange. "Now why do you want Shira so badly?" He asked as he began walking towards him. He didn't know whether Atticus was going to try and take Shira and run or he was going to stay and fight, but he figured it was probably the first one based on how Atticus had talked earlier. He looked over at Emma. "Welcome to our life," he told her jokingly before looking back at Sanctum. "Jack are you a weapon or a meister?" He asked the boy calmly as he sized up Sanctum, watching for another opening. His eyes widened when Sanctum revealed his contract with Shira and the proof of it. "Shira...what did you do?" He asked before realizing she probably didn't remember. Great. He dashed forwards, attempting to catch Shira before she fell into the portal. WINS

The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• "I would not form a contract with a demon... not intentionally..." Shira was so distracted by the demonic seal on her side that she didn't have time to prepare for the event that happened next. She was pushed and let go of whatever she was holding onto and was sucked into the portal missing Jack and Eric's attempt to grab her. The lines on her head flashed slightly as all of her body except for her shoulders and up were in the portal. She held onto the ground with her arms and used as much upper body strength as she could. She grimaced as she tried to hold on and glanced towards the others. She was hoping they would be okay through all of this, she could care less about what was waiting in the portal she was bound to fall into. Not this again... a voice said as she saw a vision on a demon flash through her mind and disappear. This happened before?! she wondered as she continued using whatever strength she had to hold on tight. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

His attention snapped to the two boys who attempted to grab the girl before she could be sucked in. The raven suddenly burst into shadows, racing towards Eric and slamming into him, knocking him onto his side and away from Shira. "What the-!?" Eric yelled. Scratch burst into shadows again and raced towards Jack, attempting to slam him out of the way as well before he could reach Shira.
