Scath na hOiche Rikku Wood ((I meant the way she talks, not what she says, in other reopleays some people find her way of talking too confusing, but i dont change it cose its part of who she is)) ((oh also, i finished a character sheet for noci, like i said just for reference, not my second character, want me to pm it to you so you can check it out?)) ((Ah. I understand her well enough so far! No matter how confusing someone's speech may be, if that is part the character, then that is how it should be kept! Please, do send it! I would love to see it. Though, I do ask that you change Noci's response because she would not have been capable of hearing Karinda's comment unless she was inside their minds, in which case I would change my reply up a bit! Ha.)) ((She is just guessing what your thinking from the way you are looking at the buildings, not responding to your thoughts or anything))

" He he, you're funny Mrs K" after a moment of giggling Noci straightened her dress to little affect, looking out at the buildings with a smile but somewhat solemn look, " They started building them that way to protect them from all of the earthquakes and storms, it doesn't work very well though...Nope...Not well" She goes quiet for a moment, swaying from side to side, thinking. "Hey! Mrs K have you ever been on an elevator?"

"He he, you're funny, Mrs. K," the young girl giggled.
Karinda's eyebrows furrowed and her head cocked to one side. "In truth?" she asked before the girl continued to speak.
"If such buildings fall, would it not be wise to minimize their size?" Karinda shielded her eyes against the sun as she looked as far up as she could in an attempt to see the top of the tallest building. "'Twould save many lives, if as many humans reside within those walls as there are windows."
"Hey! Mrs. K, have you ever been on an elevator?"
"An elevator?" she asked slowly, the word strange on her tongue. "Nay, 'tis the first such a term has reached my ears."

I am much older than my appearance portrays, dragon, I have a few years of dragon riding beneath me. Though not atop Saiirin, I hath ridden the back of a few dragons many times." Plushy answered "Then why won't you ride on Plushy? You could help the Noci keep her balance as Plushy fly."

((I hope you do not mind the suggestion, but perhaps when we continue on like that, maybe put your reaction and what he says last so it may be a bit easier to work with? It is not--in my opinion, at least--that our characters ignore yours, but that ours carried on before yours could reply. When others are on before you, continued conversation between online players is kind of expected.)) Karinda looked to Plushy, her eyes narrowing in irritation at his first comment. "The knowledge of how many years I spent as the pupil of a dragon rider does not reside within your brain, good dragon. As to why I am not beside the girl keeping her balanced, I chose long ago that flight through my own powers is far more beneath my comfort than riding on the back of one of your kind. Though invigorating, 'tis not as comforting as having my fate beneath my control. However..."
Karinda looked to Noci, her head tilting to the right as she tried to judge how heavy the girl was.
Karinda, Saiirin thought to her, a warning adorning the word.
"What number hath seen fit to create your weight, young miss, and hath thou any fear of heights?" Karinda asked, glancing to the sword as she transferred it to her left hand. ((THERE! Ah, the wonders of sleep.))

Control? Why would she use that word like that, unless she thought he couldn't fly and would thus endanger her... Plushy answered "Plushy dose know how to fly with humans on his back."((your use of "beneath" here confuses me..."more beneath my comfort"... meaning she hates flying??? it also bed time for me too then razz good night.))

((Again, in my mind, if you are not on to post and we continue onward with a conversation, then Plushy did not reply to what they had to say yet. I take them in the order that they fall, unless two people reply to a single post of mine, in which case I consider it as being near simultaneous and incorporate both into the one. So, anyway, the conversation between Karinda and Noci came before Plushy could reply to what Karinda said to him in my book.
I was using "beneath" to mean that it is in her comfort zone. "I have him/her beneath my thumb" kind of use, I think. By the by, I edited my last post. Things got so confusing last night for me! I apologize!))
"Plushy does know how to fly with humans on his back," the large dragon said.
Karinda gave an irritated sigh. "I n'er said that you do not, but simply that I prefer my fate to be beneath my own hand and not dependent upon another!"

She turned her head up to face the top of the bulding she had pointed to before, "When we get there, I'll show you why they build them so high, okay Mrs K..I'll show you...Yep."

(( crying I'm SORRY! crying )) Karinda, Saiirin growled at Karinda as a sly smile slunk across the girl's lips. No!
Aye, she answered lightly before speaking aloud to Noci. "Unless you lack trust in me, I know of a way to quicken a trip to the top of one of those daringly constructed buildings!"
The wind carried her above the dragon before another rush wrapped around Noci and created a cushion, the corners of the pages in her notebook flying upward a moment before settling down as the cushion of air rose to move the girl upward.
"Unless, of course, you and I share the same desire to not fly aided by another?" Karinda added as Saiirin alighted on the edge of fountain near one of Plushy's claws.
Thou art a fool, Karinda! Saiirin scolded. I shant take any part in your little escapade!
'Tis loss of yours and yours alone, Saiirin, Karinda retorted, the air around her raising her higher. "Shall we," she began aloud, her vibrant eyes on Noci as a glimmer of excitement passed through them, "or doth thou desire to remain earthbound?"

Plushy see the Saiirin land on his foot above the water in the fountain, Plushy said "roar." ((Is there something you want to talk about? Problems with your rider any? You look unhappy with her playing with the Noci thing, no?))((fixed you details this time...unless she landed in the water and swim...?))

((Thanks! I momentarily forgot about the fountain. Fixed that little detail! And wow, insecure much, there, Plushy? ^.^)) Saiirin gnarred as Plushy used the gruff, growling language of the dragon to speak to her. Her claws clacked against the stone of the fountain's edge as she turned, the sound nearly drowned out by the constant splash of the water colliding with Plushy's stomach before falling and gathering in the fountain, a few droplets occasionally straying near her.
"What makes thou believe," Saiirin began, using the same snapping language, the words a string of grunts, barks, and howls that only another of her kind could understand, "that I would share such a thing with thee? Though Karinda doth appear to mind thee none, I am not her!"

Plushy lowered his head to better hear what Saiirin roared back at him. Plushy roar back, ((You can speak to Plushy with dragon talk, it should be more easy to share with him. The fact you are not your rider is obvious. Riders tend to go crazy sometimes because they have no tail, if you tie you tail in a knot and sent the awakward feeling to you'r rider, it should snap her out of the crazy mode she seams to be in.))((character clash, thats all, most humans like to ride on plushy, plushy like humans riding on him, you karinda is not something plushy is use to... wink ))
