Epoch Wren - Tythos Landing Approach

"Well, he certainly wasn't going to wear mine!" Dea'avril laughed. "Now if you'll excuse me, Elyria..." she said, motioning the Je'daii aside so she could take back the co-pilot seat, "Someone's gotta land this tub."

"Hey!" Crovin protested the insult to his ship, but she ignored him.

Keeping her eyes on their approach, she said "This must be Tythos. I've always wanted to see the Kalikori Villiage, but if it makes you feel better, Locolvictum, I guess I can take you back into orbit until they're done here."

Epoch Wren - Tython Landing Space

Elyria backed up with a slight bow "Certainly Dea'avril. My apologies"

Turning to Vic, holding the data disk out to him. "Torture is not the Je'daii way. I was called back immediately and Corvin was kind enough to bring me here. I apologize for the delay in your quest, but I assure you it was at the Council's command that I returned." Making a semicircle motion to include all three passengers " I invite you all to enjoy our hospitality while you are here. There is much to see, much to learn. Ask for whatever you need and I'll ensure it is provided" Turning to face Vic "You spoke of the many hardships you have endured, here you will have food and a roof over your head, whatever you require. As soon as I complete whatever task the Council has entreated me to, I will gladly follow you to your father's base, In the meantime you'll have a chance to rest and learn the peaceful ways of our community."

Corruo - Orbit over Mustafar

"Three seconds to target......two.....one.....mark."

Stars slowed from line segments back into points as the massive Dreadnaught pulled out of hyperspace near Mustafar. Turning to the lieutenant on duty, Master Rahl spoke quietly yet surely, "Activate 5 of the gravity well projectors to keep anyone from leaving before we have a chance to inspect them. Leave the other 5 in reserve in case we have need of them." "Yes, my Lord," came the quick response as he turned to the console and punched some keys. "Tell the Major that he may send down a small squad to make contact with the inhabitants on my behalf."

The Corruo - Mustafar Orbit

After dropping out of hyperspace, Lord Rahl began securing their location and ensuring nobody is to escape from the planet below.
"Tell the Major that he may send down a small squad to make contact with the inhabitants on my behalf."
Esuritio's attention was quickly drawn by this statement. The Emperor's security was his primary objective.
"My Lord, I would like to request that I lead the Major and his squad to the surface, if only to establish a power base on the planet below."

Corruo - Orbit over Mustafar

"My Lord, I would like to request that I lead the Major and his squad to the surface, if only to establish a power base on the planet below."

"You may go Lord Esuritio. Keep in mind that our primary objective is to assimilate these people. We will only destroy them if that is not possible." Lord Rahl started. As Esuritio began to walk away, the Emperor stopped him, "Remember High Lord that you not only represent the Sith Empire here, but you represent myself as well." That said, Aiden turned back to the viewport.

Mustafar - Orbit

Suddenly an eclipse class super star destroyed pulled out of hyperspace and gravity well generators would make it impossible to enter hyperspace now. It was no doubt the flagship of the current emperor, and it truly made it mark. The dark exterior hull of the ship made it harder to see against the endless void of space. A few pieces of rubble slammed against the shields of the ship but not a scratch was made before the rubble was turned into nothing. It was truly a sight to behold. XT-613 moved towards the rotating ring around Mustafar to make it harder to detect the IG-2001. With the emperor's flagship being above Mustafar XT-613 knew it wouldn't be long before they sent to 'secure' the planet surface.

Corruo - Bridge > Hangar

Social Skirmish: Space Chase

"Remember High Lord that you not only represent the Sith Empire here, but you represent myself as well."
Esuritio left the bridge and entered the turbolift to the hangar.
::I never fail you in such respects, My Lord. When have I ever?::
As he descended down to the hangar, Saryn had flashbacks of when he first entered servitude to Lord Rahl. Painful though it was, it taught him a great many things.
The turbolift pinged.
Before him, gathered by a transport shuttle was the Major and Sith Knight Aython. Aython was the only one of the duo not to be executed after the disaster on Nar Shaddaa.
"Major, I am to take charge of your task force and represent the Emperor myself. Take the transport shuttle to the surface, Aython and myself will escort you in Lanvarok Fighters."
He merely nodded and boarded the shuttle.
"Well, Aython? Do you think you can outrun me this time?" Esuritio said, with a slight hint of humour in his voice.
"My Lord, I let you win last time." Aython replied, laughing.
Shaking his head, chuckling, Esuritio boarded his fighter as did Aython.
"Pre-launch system checks... Green across the board. Major, proceed with take-off!"
The tri-winged shuttle lifted off and shot out of the hangar force field.
"Well, Aython. You're on!" He said, flying out in unison with him.
Laughing, Esuritio lead him on a mighty chase through a debris field and other obstacles before assuming formation with the Major's shuttle.
"I thought you had improved..." Quipped an adrenaline filled High Lord.
"I haven't flown in far too long, My Lord. Maybe next time."
Huffing amusedly, Esuritio barked "Major, begin your decent to the settlement's co-ordinates."
The trio of space craft decended down to the planets surface below...

Mustafar
Citadel of the Mauler

In the time that followed the slaughter at his out post, Jayul spent his every waking moment "meditating" in an embrace of pain. He was contorted painfully, his back was bent nearly to the point of breaking. His shoulders were being pulled from their sockets, while his arms were crisscrossed across his throat cutting off his oxygen supply.

He was helpless against they Yuuzhan Vong device, it's complete absence from the force stopped him from influencing it. The pain he was in prevented the focus he needed to summon force lightning, an ability he was always lacking in. Lord Trull would visit daily to taunt the vessel, mocking him and his ineptitude that cost Lord Trull a small army. Each day when he grew tired of tormenting Jayul, he'd antagonize the embrace just to cause Jayul more pain.

Hanging at the brink of unconsciousness, Jayul resisted. He gathered the force to him and, slowly built it up. His progress was hindered with every shift of the embrace, leaving him in a hell with no inclination of the duration of his "meditation."

There came a day that Jayul felt a malevolent presence that seemed to appear suddenly.

Citadel War Room

"Lord Trull, the scanners have picked up several capital ships entering the system. They are approaching high orbit, what should we do?" One of the citadel staff reported. Lord Trull sat, stroking the strange animal that was always near by. "Should we make contact?"

"No you fool, the Empire has come to investigate the ship left behind by the vessel. We are not prepared to fight the empire now. Raise the shields, and transmit standard mining codes. There's no reason for them to assume we are anything but. Let them come and go. The vessel needs to complete his training before he can face the Sith, and without the full army we are defenseless." The agent did as was biden, and raised the shields, something common for most Mustafarian mining complexes.

Mustafar - Landing

As the IG-2001 floated along with the debris until larvanoks and shuttles went flying by. The IG-2001's engines silently started up again and followed the shuttles from a great distance. When they landed XT-613 landed her ship on a platform not too far away. XT-613 exited the IG-2001 and sealed up the entire ship and left it armed. XT-613 'wandered' closer to the landers all the while keeping up the appearance of a harmless droid.

Kaleth, Temple of Knowledge

Temple Master Ka'all Endar stood in the immense open air gardens at the top of the temple held in reserve for those of his rank to use as a sanctuary. Beautiful flowers from all over Tython dotted the sides of the walkways leading into and out of the main circle in the center of the gardens. Natural stones not touched by tool made up the floor of the circle, the darker stones forming the shape of the Je'daii symbol. The mixture of the ancient Je'daii and Jedi symbols represented the past and the present come together as one to form a new body. Curved stone benches lined the outer rim of the circle. Hands behind his back, Master Endar stood in the center, head bowed looking at the symbol while contemplating the information given to him.

Finally Master Stone walked in trying to brush the dirt and dust from their recent mission. "It's good to see you're well, Elyria, I was beginning to worry slightly," Ka'all said as he looked up. Even the dirt and grime of the fighting could do nothing to hide her exquisite beauty as his steel grey eyes met her emerald. He gripped her shoulder with a smile as he showed her to one of the stone benches. "I won't waste any more time for we are running out of it, so we cannot wait on the others," he began, his smile vanishing, "One of our spies in the Empire has just found a mission to Mustafar that the Emperor himself will be on." Seeing her eyes growing wide, Ka'all continued, "We know he will be heavily guarded, but this could be a great opportunity for a small strike force to penetrate his defenses. Elyria, we could cut the head off the Empire and send them into turmoil for years to come. We will be using a captured Imperial Shuttle so there aren't many seats to go around. You must choose your best as I will choose mine for this mission. You have 5 hours to meet me on the landing platform of my temple before we take off." Running his fingers through her long fiery red hair, he finished, "We can do this, I know we can."

Epoch Wren - Tythos Landing Approach

Locolvictum took the data disk from Elyria and put it in his pocket. "And I suppose a blaster to the back is concidered a friendly hello?" He said trying to antaganize her, but before she got a chance to say anything he looks at Dea'avril, "Its ok, as long as the supposed Jedi Master doesn't try anything I should be fine." He said trying to sound as kind as possible. Then gave a slight bow to them all and left and went toward the landing ramp, waiting for it to go down.

Kaleth, Temple of Knowledge - Rooftop Garden

Making her way up the final staircase leading to the garden Elyria realized she must look a sight, she began brushing off her garments and trying to tame her unruly hair. As her last step brought her into the sunlight, she raised her face to feel it's warmth permeate her being. Breathing in the scent of the lush flowers surrounding her - this was one of her favorite places.
She started slightly at the sound of Ka'all's voice, snapping her out of her reverie.
His voice familiar, yet somehow different...when their eyes met she felt her face grow warm
"What is wrong with me? - I must be tired" "Well, I met with some interesting delays" Laughing softly, but I can fill you in on those later - now what is the urgent intel you spoke of?"

She let him lead her to the bench and sat beside him, his hand on her shoulder warm in the brilliant sun.
It was unbelievable - the Emperor himself - her eyes widened in shock - could they possibly... she stood and paced a little as he filled her in remembering their last encounter with Rahl - so long ago - they had not fared so well - could they do it? As if in answer to her question he came up behind her and ran his fingers through her hair
"We can do this, I know we can."
she blushed, not just at the timing of his words, but at the familiarity with which he acted. Her heart was racing - "was it the mission, or Ka'all himself?" Composing herself "Right - 5 hours at Stav Kesh I won't fail you" placing her hand on his arm. She looked into his grey eyes and nodded - I'll go make preparations. Turning she made her way to the exit going back down the stair, she took the transport elevator down the rest of the way.
As the doors closed she shook her head - what is wrong with me? I guess flirting with that young smuggler has thrown me off balance. I can't afford these... feelings...not with the mission ahead! She headed for her quarters to shower and change. Who would she call to join them?

Kaleth, Temple of Knowledge - Deboarding Epoch Wren/Rooftop Garden

Corvin and Dea'avril docked the ship, it's additional maneuverability enabling the freighter to touch down impossibly gently, a sharp contrast to it's warp speed jump. No sooner was the ramp down than he watched Elyria walk off the ship without a word. She certainly seemed preoccupied, which Corvin reasoned made sense, considering her rush to get here. He followed her, not knowing where else to go, and smiled as he watched her straighten her hair and raise her face to the sun. She really was pretty... and then he noticed an older man approach. He certainly looked more like what Corvin expected to see when he heard the phrase "Je'daii Master," and so he paid it no mind when the man put his hand on her shoulder until - was she blushing? And then he led her to a bench and spoke softly to her, running his fingers through her hair...

"Problem, Captain?" Dea'avril teased.

"What? No! Just... new planet. Taking it all in." That man had to be twice her age... hell, maybe twice Corvin's age!

"Uh-huh. So... think I've got time to check out the villiage?"

"I've got no idea..." Corvin said, trailing off. She didn't even introduce him! It's like he wasn't there!

"Great! See ya!" Dea'avril said, making haste before Corvin could stop her. She hated to leave him like this, but she was pretty sure that if things between him and Elyria fell through now he'd need a damned good reason to come back to Tythos, and she didn't want to miss her chance.

"I, uh... oh-kaaaaay..." Corvin said lamely, watching Dea'avril's lekku trail behind in her haste to run down the setps. The gardens were impressive, and the sunlight here was very pleasant, but he was starting to get really uncomfortable standing around like an idiot. "I wonder where Vic's got off to?" he muttered to himself, turning his back on the bench to look around.

He turned to look back once more, just to see if he was blowing this all out of proportion. Just to see her a moment longer... but when he did, she was gone. For a moment, Corvin wondered what was wrong with himself. He'd never gotten so worked up over a girl before, and it didn't uncomplicate matters that she was a Je'daii Master herself. It was crazy! Reflexively he drew a flask out of his inner coat pocket, looked at it for a moment and, in a completely uncharacteristic manner, he put it back unopened.

(Sorry for the long wait! crying )

Jedi Cruiser Living Quarters Hallway:

Master Kraine slowly nodded--his eyes closing allowed his darker memories to take hold. A sheer cold breeze went through the hallway as the Jedi's spoke in a whisper--each word hanging above his head--regret, pain and longing.....

" Yes, I used to be Sith...walking in the red sands of Korriban with just a practice saber behind my back, my clothes had become rags with each passing day of fighting, defending, and barely surviving the trails. Each trail ..felt cold...tearing your will against every thing that lived..the caves you would walk were huge graves..bones scattered throughout the dark-misery home of angered souls. Hate. Power. Passion. Torture Were just the few things your empty-enslaved mind would hear..Every single day I told myself I would leave this miserable planet...so I obeyed..and let me tell you.. His green eyes snapped open, glowing with a yellow ring around his pupil.

"I wanted nothing more than to make those high Sith Lords know true pain. I wanted them to see the suffering they bowed down to; a puddle of blood makes them grin as if it were wine. Laughter would fill the rooms as lightening burst through the hallways. Yes, I was a young mindless fool that cowardly bend down to their miserable lies.." name His voice was trembling with each memory flashing before him. He started to pace back and forth calming himself down.

Ten years I trained on that red-hateful-miserable-death planet just to be appointed to the Sith Lord who is after my padawan. The things I saw , things I did could never be erased--but the moment I followed my former Master I knew if I was ever to have an apprentice or padawan they would never experience what I did." His ghostly figured walks calmly to the young man.

"Some things are not worth mentioning young man, that path is not for you...You're powerful enough to beat the Sith...They destroy the very essence of someone's true nature..and my Cari's is pure imagine what would happen if the Dark Side sink its venomous fangs into her training..She would be no more than a memory..I have come to prevent that--try to finish her training." Kraine stops in the middle of the two padawans and folds his arms--eyes forwarding in deep thought.

"Allow me to show you my time being an apprentice was like with these short memories--I dare not share all of them--for the man you see within these memories is just a puppet not the kind, gentle jedi you see now. I must show you these memories, select few, because they are the key for my transformation of becoming a jedi."

A bright flicker burst in front of them--one---two--three burst of sparks flashed and as the light beams down the hallway was no longer there..but a meadow..two distant voices were coming closer one was Kraine;s and the other Cari knew to be X's voice but he looked different than what she remembered from their fight.

Long black hair tied back in a pony tail, white pale skill, yellow glowing eyes, red robes and boots. He didn't look dark..

"I thought of the same thing, but just watch.." Kraine's voice echos around them. The two figures spoke calmly together before in a blink of an eye stood right infront of the two padawans.

" Master, please, me being the teacher? My training is far from over and you want me to train some child?"

"Yes, I do, because I went into great lengths to get this child born from two well known jedi! The Force is strong within this infant and before you start barking..She will grow and as time matures her..we will be preparing for her to join our ranks."

"I find it strange that something so small has an infant--caught your eye Master what game are you playing."

Lord X grins over to young apprentice, "Simple, you will train her--so in the near future--she will be ready for my plans...She will become my new apprentice in which you would have already found another. Our culture works in that way I have never seen a master still having his first apprentice with him--its unnatural.

****
Another memory pops before them and right before it does..Kraine appears, the Jedi Krain, and glances at them both, "Do you wish to see more? I understand if you don't...Remember I was trained as a Sith in those days, so training someone to be trained by my former master was nothing to be upset over--it was a great honor--but after raising her for over five years...I had enough of the sick idea. You see, I found Cari when she was just a toddler--he purposely placed her..well the next memory will show you both if you wish to see. I wish I had a choice during these days.." He sighs patting Cari's head.

K20-4S

(What's going on? I seem to have missed out on a huge chunk of things.)

Epoch Wren - Tythos Landing Space, K20's Quarters

K20-4S kept sifting through the fake data he found, he continued looking, finding fake information such as how the Sith were going to train civilians to be part of their militia, to how the Sith were resorting to cloning to produce more soldiers...

"God... They must have really wanted to keep anything real behind all of this junk...."

It would only be a few more moments before K20 could get some "real treasure" out of this data...
