Something I forgot.
I need more details in this post, for realsies. It says "Incinerating Touch lvl. 1" At the bottom, separated by dashes, does this mean you incinerated your own hands? You didn't say if you where charging up an attack, so I can only assume you used an ability. But hands implys touch attack. Afton is too far away for you to reach him for such an attack.
So WTF are you doing?

You're seriously the first person who didn't realize it's a charge of some type.
I'm wondering if you're being stupid for the sake of being a b***h or if you're really just stupid. I wonder if you've even bothered to read my other fights, since it's the same damn thing, or if you just eyeballed how many words I typed.
In fact, there's plenty of hints as to what's happening right there in the ******** post. It's written for a reason.
I mean, let's get on detail.
What is your character wearing? Are you going to follow the logic behind all the detail you're trying to cram in, like the obvious pitfalls associated with extreme dehydration?
If not, shut up and post.

It's not smart to say things like that, you never know when you might accidentally trigger your own death flag... Also, he did it in his last match to I believe, from what I gather without reading crap o his other matches it either makes him stronger or his powers charge as time passes

I'm sorry but examining your nails is not exactly a "Charge" stance, or anything that would lead me to believe so. It's your fault for needing to post something out of character in order to indicate something In character. Obviously you aren't giving enough details if that's your excuse.
And if you must know, Yes, I am menstruating. And obviously that makes any argument I make invalid because I'm not in the kitchen making you a sandwich popping out babies. What a clever observational stereotype, you have there.

If it was enough detail for everyone but you then I believe the problems here in lies with you.
Which by the way, you've yet to answer the questions I asked because of your lack of detail in your posts.

The solution here is obvious... Go make me a sandwich and we'll listen to you v.v Oh and some Cherry coke, I swear if you bring me Pepsi you're just asking for a one word post...-.-
Side note Virtue, I'm actually enjoying reading your posts, I'd give a 4 at least for the roleplay score as is since your post emanates cockiness... Or is it just nihilism?

WoTS5567_No_Okami I'd give a 4 at least for the roleplay score as is since your post emanates cockiness... Well ********, someone with a reading comprehension beyond 1st grade. Yeah, there's more to writing style and prose than just shoving as many adjectives and adverbs you can find in a thesaurus down somebody's throat. As someone else said earlier in the tournament, show don't tell. That's why my posts right now are effective. That's exactly why you know more about my character in less than 100 words than you do about Afton after exhaustive verbiage.

red_moon_wolfess I'm sorry but examining your nails is not exactly a "Charge" stance, or anything that would lead me to believe so. It's your fault for needing to post something out of character in order to indicate something In character. Obviously you aren't giving enough details if that's your excuse. it is a common rp combat convention to note things after a post for the sake of judging, that the opponent will not be able to tell is going on unless they have the ability to read their opponent's mind.
i do not justify a lack of saying "there is nothing in-character to indicate something happen," especially this is not the case-- he does note energy going through his fingers. i only justify putting the charge at the end of the post, especially if the move in question carries no heat signature. my own character has a stance/charge/attack that, if he is standing as still as your opponent is, is virtually undetectable. however, there is a note at the end of the post that indicates to the judges that it's happening. i can explain it if you'd like, but i don't think you'd be interested. you might feel like i came here to be hoity toity and tell you to shut your face.
that's not what i'm here for. i'm here because someone told me there was lulz going down and i came to see what was going on. i'd like to believe that i have a bit of pull in the local community to say something and have it at least be considered, so i respectfully ask you to listen. or read, whichever you feel like doing.
reading over your opponent's post, i saw that where there was a lack of words, there was an abundance of character to make up for it. you might wonder where such a thing is, when there are few words to convey character, but consider what's there, rather than what's not there. Quote: Without much trouble getting there or fanfare to announce his arrival... Indifferent to it all, the demon remained near the arena edge. he is playing his character's lack of care through a lack of words. you can expect a player with a vain character to spend plenty of time describing their visage, the hue of their eyes down to the RGB and HEX, and how beautifully unmarred their skin is. what i take from the intro as presented is that, in comparison to your character who has things on his mind, virtue's character simply does not care.
why is it that you cannot accept a lack of care on the opponent-char's part? why do you feel that the player would wrong you with "disrespectfully short posts?"

@Uberwulf: Because RPing is the creation of a story between two people. I don't want brick posts, I want a character! I want a person underneath all of that bland! I want him to give a flying ********.
If you read a book with the amount of detail he puts into his post, would you consider it equally as awesome? His character has no personhood! His posts have no life! You can't create a story without those things, it simply doesn't happen.... At least not well.
Unless you're writing a story about suicide, or something, and how a character is fighting against it. In which case, I'm more than happy to accept his posts, as it is symbolical for his character and more accurately reflects his personality. However in this instance, he's obviously just trying to piss me off and be disrespectful. See above comments abut me menstruating for supporting evidence.... Or if that isn't enough, he's outright said he doesn't care.

if you want mercedes lackey or tolkien-style posts, go read their books. this is his style of conveying character, and you have no right to tell him that he is wrong for his method. i can, however, tell you that, for a number of reasons, you are wrong for approaching all opponents with the same expectations.
you still did not state why he would intentionally do such a thing. you are taking personally a person's way of conveying character. he admitted to not wanting to fight in the tournament, but it has nothing to with you. if anything, Vintrict should be offended, yet he's accepted enough what has gone on.

The funny thing is, most books include about as much if not less detail than my posts do. sad
Meanwhile, for someone who's such a detail whore, I still don't know what kind of sword is being used, what kind of shield is being used, what kind of clothing/armor is being worn, and so on.
You at least know Razel is going out to play golf with super models after winning this round.

I just explained that I don't expect the same from everyone. It is different based on circumstance and situation. This is a fight, possibly to the death, and his character has no emotion whatsoever? Good lord, how can you possibly say that's good writing? He doesn't even give reason for why he doesn't give a crap. It's like his character is only there because he was magically created in that spot for this vary purpose; And that he is a hollow husk without any past emotion or experience to draw upon. Hell, I don't even know what he looks like! For all I know he's a polo-kakhi wearing vampiric, multi-breasted centaur with wings and tentacles wielding flaming chainsaws in each spaghetti-hand, and THATS what "Incinerating touch" means. EDIT: Absolute Virtue Meanwhile, for someone who's such a detail whore, I still don't know what kind of sword is being used, what kind of shield is being used, what kind of clothing/armor is being worn, and so on. You at least know Razel is going out to play golf with super models after winning this round. The blade is long, and five feet in length at most, as mentioned in my last post. That gives you probably.... Three choices of blade, that I can think of, in that size category. He's a knight, and obviously British from his speech and references in my post.... Meaning it's likely a claymore, as the other option of a greatsword was more Gaelic in origin, if I recall properly, and is the shorter option of the two long blades anyway. We can also rule out any form of japanese blade of similar length from this same evidence. The shield, as mentioned previously, covers most of his body, and as he is a large man, also mentioned previously, that means it has to be at least four feet tall (Average height of a man being 5'-6"6' tall) Meaning it's either a tower shield (Unlikely, as that would cover his whole body, or at least should) or a heavy shield. Who has the reading level of a first grader again? I need to sleep. I'm starting to get sick. I'll be up in the morning to respond to you.
