Lies And Salamander Green eyes were sparkling like a jade freshly polished as the attack landed. Perfect. Now was the time to strike once and then strike again with more power! Grinning, he then glanced at the Ducklett. "Romeo! Hit it with all you got! Smother the flames!" The boy had noticed the dual fire and bug type was getting angry and they needed to finish it off now. The Ducklett briefly flew back into the air. He began spiraling down and then tucked his wings. Gravity would help push his body downward as his beak opened. The duck felt the water flowing within his body. Romeo was aiming to use a blast of Water Gun to finish the fiery bug off!Romeo the Ducklett (m) lvl: 4/Hasty Hp: 20/20 Pp: 19 Att: 9 Def: 9 Spd: 11 Sp Att:9 Sp Def: 10 Moves: Watergun, Water sport, Gust Exp: 0/300 (11 - 6 + 9 - 10 = 4 x 2 = 8dmg) Larvesta lvl:4/Hasty Hp: 1/19 Pp: 20 Att: 13 Def: 9 Spd: 12 Sp Att: 10 Sp Def: 10 Moves: Ember, String Shot, Bug Bite Again the winds would catch the bug as Larvesta this time was push upwards into the sky before being dropped to the ground. This was getting to be a bit ridiculous as the bug type would start to scramble towards it's prey. The pain was clear, but, it wasn't giving up as it would send out flames from it's mouth in response to it.
The pokemon would use Ember.

(Cute, my turn)
A flick of a tail as she does a twist would soon have a Whirlpool being form at the end of her tail. She would do almost a puppy play stance as she drew it over her back and into the air above her own head as it continues to grow bigger and stronger ...while her partner ...Frillish would smile lightly at her opponents. The icy wind would blow and tear and chill. It wouldn't be enough to cause the type of damage that she might have long for, but it was enough as she chuckles in the darkness. It had been fun ...a lot of fun ....as she giggles lightly as she made it a point to keep her distances in the darkness.
Let him try to find her ....it is always more fun that way.

A feral hiss ripped from Fable's throat as he was buffeted by the wind, the icy chill feeling as if it tore into his skin. Bright and bloody red, the Charmander's eyes seemed to smoulder in his sockets as he dropped onto fall fours, his tail lashing wildly behind him.
Claws scraping against the ground the Fire-Type began sniffing around, his nostrils flaring as his eyes darted in various directions. He couldn't see the Sableye amidst the shadows very well, but predator's relied on more then simply sight. With his body low to the ground the enraged Charmander searched for the Sableye, basic instinct and the desire to kill his only guidance.
That was when he caught it...it scent much akin to graveyard soil.
The Fire-Type, hardly more then an animal at this point, charged forward, an unintelligible roar rising in his throat as he flung himself into the darkness, swinging one arm back and igniting it. He was about to light a funeral pyre, and Fire Punch would be the torch!
Starter Pokemon: Charmander [M] Name & Level: Fable, Lv 6 [Temperament] Quiet Bio: Raven first met Fable during his time living on the streets, finding the fire-tailed reptile in one of hundreds of alleys he'd been in. Battered, beaten, and bloodied, it was clear the Charmander had seen it's fair share of battles...and lost every single one. He bit Raven only five seconds after their initial encounter. Fable had lost all trust in humanity. Raven was never fully aware of the details, but the Charmander's former trainer had been abusive. He'd placed him in battles with impossible odds, expecting him to combat and defeat opponent after opponent with little to no rest...and when he lost, it was his trainer whom would personally add to the reptiles injuries. Finally tired of wasting his time on "some worthless newt" his trainer had abandoned him in the dirtiest alleyway he could find and just left him there. The boy hadn't even given him a name...at least not one he cared to repeat.
For days after that first encounter Raven returned to the alley, usually meeting with the same result; yet still he kept coming, sometimes he even brought food. It was generally scraps most likely out of the garbage, but it was food none the less. One day the Charmander finally asked why the child kept returning...not with words of course, but with his eyes. The curiosity at the boy's actions were clear in the reptiles gaze. Raven had said he saw a fire in Fables eyes that day when they first met, the desire to become truly powerful. More time passed after that, but the only thing which mattered after that point was the outcome. Even without a Pokeball the Charmander decided to follow the boy from that day forward, even earning the name Fable in the process. Raven would speak of spending the reward money on new clothes and a bath, but what was consistently leave out was the purchase of a single Pokeball. There was no need. Even without it, Fable would follow his trainer to the depths of hell and back. (20 - 3 + 13 - 15 = 15 + burn)
It was a lucky shot ....but it would catch as the flames would show him his opponent. Her eyes wide in surprise, he had found her .....though it wasn't the scent that had drawn her. It was stupid luck, for she didn't give off the scent of graveyard soil ...her kind are never buried near others. No, it's more like the collasping of the world upon them the shattering of bones, the breaking of skin, all in the pursue of greed.
No, she gave off a scent but that wasn't it ...as she hit the ground once rolling a bit as she came back on her paws. There was pain there ...as she felt the area burning underneath her fangs as she touches the area lightly ....and narrowed her eyes. SHe would make him pay for that one ...dearly as she would come forward again ....tactics be damn.
She was pissed as she would sweep both claws back behind her as she rushes him. Hoping to catch him still gloating over that victory as she would swing one claws and then the other at that soft underbelly as she slides down hopefully underneath guards as she would seek to send up upwards on his tiptoe before finishing the slashing movements with a head butt to send her opponent on his back.
Her scratches were her many weaponry while her headbutt was to give her the distances afterwards ...if she managed to hit.

In her anger it would seem the Sableye had forgotten who she faced...what she faced. A beast. His rage all consuming. Wild and furious as a forest fire, Fable knew only anger, instinct, and that the focus of these things was still moving. That wouldn't do in the least.
While the Sableye began to flail and scratch, the Charmander would swing his still flaming arm, thrusting it forward at his opponents face. A simple counter-attack using Fire Punch, but the results could prove quite painful!

The move would hit again ....as she wouldn't get a chance to scratch as that fist would snapped her head back and reverse her momentum in such away that both of her feet would leave the floor as her body and head were forced into two different directions. She would crash down heavily on her back with a sound that would have been sickening if she hadn't been as much ghost as dark ....type as she smacked and started to roll around with her hand to her face. There would be blood that would run down between her hands .....and over the side of her face.
Her teeth in the front had been broken by the move ...as she would roll upon her feet as the burn would flare to life, but not before she aimed for some sort of revenge as she goes with one final counter attack .....as she turns from the floor and slash out at his feet ....trying to shred him from knee cap to waist.

The bug was getting desperate. The boy was analyzing the situation, realizing that it would be perfect this way. Pondering whether to attack or watch, he just stared. What to do...what to do. In the end, he decided not to risk it. Romeo could wait.Romeo hovered in the air, watching as the flames charged toward him. As the Sableye lunged for her final strike the red would drain from Fable's eyes, replaced by the natural blue he'd been born with. His rage receded in an instant, his entire demeanour changing in an instant before his opponent. Such a dramatic alteration meant only one thing. Though the ghost didn't yet seem to realize it, Fable's own instincts did...this battle was already over.
Turning his back on the battered little gremlin, the Charmander's tail flashed silver as his flicked it, moving to bat the Sableye's hand away with Iron Tail.

The Larvesta would catch the pokemon with it's flames as the embers would spark and glow. Yet, that watery element inside of the duck would keep it from blazing to it's true height ...it would spare him ....as she continued to scamper on the ground.
She knew another attack was coming, and he had nothing to lose in a counter-attack at that moment as she would once more send out small embers of flames to ride the winds. The though of combining string shot and ember together came to her .....if she survived this one ...she would really show him a hot time in the city.

The move would crack her arm as she hit the ground heavily. Her eyes wide in pain as she would grow at him only once before she disappeared into the darkness ...this time she wouldn't rise again.
This battle was over.
The darkness would receded until there was nothing of it left .....and Grey once more stood in the Mirage arena. It was truly over.

Fable EXP: 749/500 Lv 6 --> Lv 7 [FABLE LEARNED EMBER!]Fable merely snorted as the spectre disappeared, smoke rising from his nostrils as he narrowed his blue eyes on the place where she'd been. Though it had return to it's normal size, the flame at the end of the Charmander's tail still flickered wildly...and as fire began to lick at the edges of his mouth the reason became clear.
Exhaling a single, sharp breath, Fable would release a blast of Ember onto the floor, leaving a faint scorch mark in it's wake. After that last battle he'd grown stronger, and in doing so accomplished their goal here. He'd learned a long distance attack, with it his full power could now be used.
Giving a short, approving nod, Raven would turn, gesturing for Fable to follow. They were done here...

The flames managed to reach the Ducklett but his feathers managed to protect him. Most of them simply bounced off but a couple left smouldering embers. Romeo seemed okay so Jade wondered what attack to use next. Now was as good a time as ever. "Water gun!" he shouted, excitedly. It was time to end this! The Ducklett was flying but even that wasn't enough. The Larvesta was able to chase him. The flames managed to barely burn through his outer layer of feathers. Giving a quick shake, he managed to pat the rest of the embers out. Quacking once, he turned sharply when the boy shouted out a command. Taking a breath, he then sent a stready stream of water towards the Larvesta trying to get away! Glacia watched in horror as it took him away from her, his figure warping and twisting within the water. A light would shoot out and envelop it, taking Renard back into his ball and leaving the water to splash down on it's own without him.
Ada put his ball back around her neck. It was a quick recall, but there was no need to see what they didn't have to. Especially with Glacia's current state of mind...it'd be best not to mess her up if she could help it.
"Glacia, Powder snow!" she'd call out, the Spheal looking forwards worridly. She saw not a frillish nor a vaporeon, she saw a snarling, ferocious beast and it's minion. Shaking her head, she tried to get the image out of her mind, the air around her growing cold.
"> BEGONE! <" she'd scream, pounding her flippers against the ground. A wind would blow from behind her, sending a wave of snow out at the water-type duo in front of her. She's banish them all, back to the realm from whence they came!
