I want to see the ocean… Erik watched him eat with a small smile, "Captain....Can I make a strange request?" He asked remembering how Aristol said Devion babied him bothered him and he knew he didn't have a job on the ship yet.So badly I risked my life for it

Devion looked surprised but smiled none-the-less he nodded, swallowingthe food in his mouth, "Of course, what do you want?" continuing to eat

I want to see the ocean… Erik thought over his question carefully and fidgeted slightly. "I was wondering why it is you haven't given me a job to do on the ship. Most would think you are spoiling me." He said softly.So badly I risked my life for it

Devion froze for a moment, then set the tray down, it was finished. He looked at Erik a moment, "Because i like it when your by my side, and not off running errands."

I want to see the ocean… Erik looked at him before he reached over at took Devion's hand in his. "What if you gave me a job in here? That way I could say my job takes place in here so that you can make sure I'm doing it properly." He suggested softly.So badly I risked my life for it

I want to see the ocean… Erik gave a pout, "I can do little things like reading and writing while I'm in here. Besides it'll be safer here because I doubt Charlie will come after me, there are enough places I can hide if she tries to." He said and realized he just confessed to knowing about Charlie.So badly I risked my life for it

Devion's eyes widened when Erik said Charlie, "H-how do you know about her?" his voice quiet as he thought a moment, looking at Erik shocked, Then his eyes narrowed in anger, "Aristol told you didn't he? That little-" he didnt finish his comment, he just stood up and went for the door.

Devion still looked furious until Erik said he had heard Charlie screaming, then he looked defeated, "I never wanted you to around her. Aristol led you there didn't he?" mad again, "And who said I was going to hurt him. Im not the only one on this ship that has permission to do such things."

I want to see the ocean… Erik's eyes widened at that, "Please, please don't be angry with Aristol. He wanted me to know the truth. He knew I would never ask you, he didn't lead me there we could hear her screaming from the crows nest. I wasn't aware who it was until I ran into Jared. Devions eyes widened, then he face palmed himself, "Jared was in on this? Does no one follow orders these days?!" he shook his head, "Im going to need to have a talk with everyone on the ship it seems." he sighed, looking down at Erik crying made his heart hurt, he bent down and got close to Erik, their noses just touching as he brushed away tears, "Im sorry you had to see me like that. I promise i wont punish them, but i need to at least speak with them."

Devion hugged Erik back but he sighed, "Thats it, i need more girls on my ship." he smiled a little, "Probably make the crew happy too." chuckling to himself.
