Lukas entered into the classroom and quietly found a seat beside his brothers. This class did not seem as if it would be too eventful; reading class tended to be like that, and as such, the Norwegian hoped to be able to talk to his brothers about the meeting coming up after this class.

… It took the West coast state some doing, but he made it through the period with his energy kept in check. Landon burst out of his seat when the bell rang and charged out the door. Before going to class, he took some time to run around in the field before heading to his next class.

Scooping up his stuff he decided he should head to the grocery store and stock up on the staples, noting earlier that the stock of food in his dorm had been quite low, and sandwhiches were beginning to bore his tastebuds. After realizing that he had somehow managed to miss all of fourth period, Landon hurried over to the Literature classroom, where he was quite obviously late. The Californian just smiled charmingly at the teacher as he waltzed blithely in and seated himself to take out his class novel and pencils. It was good that many of his teachers were women--they were far more easily charmed than men by his smile.
Even though he had no hard record of the scene, Landon could not shake his mental image of Christian and Rutilio literally tied together by the belt-strings. This couldn't be healthy. He had already repented for his errors, so why was his mind so unwilling to let the matter rest? Oh well; California figured he would be fine after a good night's sleep. For now, he had to pay attention, since literary analysis did not come as easily to him as his other subjects.

The Sunshine State was all smiles and his usual slightly ditzy yet lovable self as he walked in the door, but paused when he saw Mexico and California. They had witnessed the entire thing and Rutilio struggled not to start blushing or become embarrassed over it again. He tried to act casual and settled down in his seat. She looked around the classroom for a moment, adverting her attention from the teacher so he wouldn't be able to note the color of her eyes, and upon seeing only Mexico and California there to join them, she merely sighed in contentment and walked inside.
At the moment, she had no idea about what had happened since the night before--in terms of the mission and what happened earlier that day--and so she thought nothing of Rutilio's question as she walked over to a seat, pulled out the chair, and sat down. "Well my day has been pretty chill. I've been up since last night at the park, watching the stars until the sun rose... it was very beautiful~" She decided that she should probably keep her mouth closed about the more illicit activities she was conducting by herself in the park, since she knew a lot of other states and nations' standpoints on it were negative and didn't want to get in trouble for it with the administration, even if it were for purely medical reasons. Her eyes still had a hazy look to them, although that has toned down some since her peak and now she was merely entering he come down. She looked over to Landon and nudged him with her hand, since she was sitting besides him. "Hey neighbor." She said with a playful smile before she tucked some strands of her ebony locks behind her ear. "How you doin'?" She giggled softly as she rested her head upon her hand as she awaited an answer, being a bit more cute with her land-locked neighbor than she usually was. （HawaiianRollarcoasterRide - . . .）

Speak of the devil! The very next person to walk in the door was Rutilio himself. Despite the Floridian’s success in not blushing and giving his previous activities away, his mere presence was enough to elicit a grin from California. Man, this suppression thing was going to be a little bit more difficult with one of the accomplices now in the room. Landon answered his brother’s ironic question with a grin. “It was pretty boring for a while,” he answered vaguely. Under other circumstances, Rutilio would most likely assume the best of that statement and decide that his merely being in the room was enough to make his little brother happier. However, Landon doubted that the depression in their relationship, although certainly past the worst part, was through; he had intentionally left his reply vague because he wanted to test Florida and see whether he had been completely forgiven or if the Gulf still expected the worst from the West.
He was distracted from his slightly estranged brother by a drawling Leilani, who added her own reply after Landon’s own. The Westerner craned his neck to watch the Hawaiian state walk into the room. Was it just his imagination, or was her gait a little more stupefied than usual? He remembered one item in particular that might induce something like that in its users...
Landon received a half-answer to his unvoiced question when Leilani walked right up to him, pulled out a chair, and then nudged him playfully, distracting him from a composition that he had barely gotten started on. In response to her drawling, friendly question, Landon grinned and, figuring that he wasn’t going to get anything more done with his paper in class, looped his right arm around her shoulders. “I’m doin’ good, sis,” he answered, mimicking her slight drawl just for the heck of it. “As good as a state can do after stayin’ up all night helpin’ a ghost pass on. A lotta trippin’ over branches an’ stuff--I bet you had more fun than I did.” The Californian gazed down at Hawaii’s head resting on her hands, hoping she would look up at him and show him the visual evidence he suspected she had.
