   As if the thundering strikes and crashing of some object in her home wasn't bad enough, the slight thudding of boots were now heard over the hard wooden floors. Teresa was still under the covers, as though it were a shield of magic protecting her. Those footsteps were getting closer, each step sending fear into the frightened princess. Then..the door to her room was pushed open! ....Not at all scary. Nope. She didn't scream or anything.
That was because she was even to scared to scream! Though, her body reacted, strangely enough. Typically she would freeze in fear, however this time, the covers flew off her, and a pillow was grabbed, about to launch it toward the intruder when!
That voice spoke. Breaking her out of her blind fear suddenly, just enough that she didn't throw the pillow at her friend there.Then again, coming from Teresa it probably would have landed at the end of the bed, not even near Ein! "....! Ein..! "
She was concerned, and came here? ....Well, that was nice of her. So much she almost didn't believe it, but here she was, standing there in her room.....soaking wet and probably exhausted.....The poor girl.. "...You came here because you were worried about me? " She asked her, still quite shocked. "...I'm sorry...! " It was as if the fear had completely faded from her as she hopped off the bed. "You went through so much trouble to get here....and your soaked! " She was starting to feel bad! If she didn't leave Balamb, Ein wouldn't be in the risk of becoming sick. "Let me get you a towel..! " Teresa hurried down the hall, opening the large doors to the storage area which held all the towels and curtains. Slipping out a fresh clean pink towel, Teresa was quick to hand it to Ein.. "...It's not like I enjoy solitude, I mean...I'm used to it. My family has their own lives, and I only really just seem to get in the way, so I stay here or find my own way. That's why I left Balamb..It didn't feel right there, if something happened, I know it would be me to hold someone back, or make a mistake...I don't want to bring anyone any trouble. " She said softly. "I'm not alone, though...! I have....all the animals here in this forest and Crystal, my chocobo...who is kind of like my safeguard, I guess! She fights for me...And get's me to where I want to go..." She went on, smiling a little. "Chocobo's aren't easy to catch up with, even for all the monsters in this world.."
If she was expecting her to mention a human safeguard, that was very unlikely. At least, not anymore..It hadn't been for so long and she didn't want to bring him up for fear of causing more emotional stress to herself.
"A-Anyway, enough about me..Are you okay? Do you want me to put on some hot tea? Anything you want, make your self at home. You don't have to ask for anything! " Though she would still make her some tea and make anything she wanted, had she asked her to. " Umm...If you want...You can shower and get warmed up, and I can get yo some temporary clothes while I wash yours? " It was...the least she could do, due to being soaked and probably muddied up a bit from the heavy down pour.

 ___Ein Al___  "All powers come to and flow from me..!" "..." Ein gave Teresa a look. "I will disregard the pillow you readied for combat." She said.
"It was no trouble. The divine training I rigorously complete day-by-day has honed my body so that nothing exhausts me." That may have been a bit of an exaggeration. "I really do not require-" Though it seemed it wouldn't stop her from procuring a towel anyway. "You should not concern yourself over my health. I assure you, my HP is no lower now than when I left the garden in the sky." She said, barely drying off with the towel. "What a foolhardy viewpoint. I assure you, the only burden I carry is the darkness that is embedded deep within my heart. Friendship is no such burden. Others would say the same." As she continued to speak, Ein's eyes narrowed. "Is that so? Where are your family members, then? I would like to have a talk with the ones who so readily shut their own flesh and blood out of their lives! If they think you're simply a convenience to be tossed aside when they please, I'll force them to see the error of their ways." And despite how silly her role-playing could seem at times, Ein was a capable warrior and great fighter. She had no doubt she could do just that. "Human interaction is vital to mortals such as yourself. Animals cannot provide that," she said, her eyes still narrowed in irritation.
"My human form requires nothing of the sort," Ein said, closing her eyes dramatically. "I am in no shortage of health, and my form is clean enough as is." She said, opening her eyes again. "It's just a little rain, Teresa. Really, calm down." Oops, she dropped character.  (( OOC: ))

 Teresa couldn't hide the giggle that escaped her as she caught the look coming from Ein.. "I thought you were ...someone else...." She blushed, there was no way she would be saying monster. She was such a kid sometimes! Though it wasn't as if they didn't exist.
"...I see..I wonder what that would be like. It must be nice to be so strong.." She said as she made her way to the towel to hand to her, regardless of her answer. She wasn't going to let her stay soaked and dripping like that! "Hey! I'm allowed to worry about you too. So, no can do..! " Teresa said with a hint of playfulness in her voice. It was hard to be so playful with someone so serious such as her, but, hey, she tried! "When you say darkness in your heart...what do you mean by that exactly? I don't see much darkness to be had in you...Though, you don't have answer that if you don't want to. " She didn't want to make her uncomfortable of course.
"Hmm? N-no...It's okay, really...Mother and Father have their own duties as Queen and King, they can't really be here often...And if they aren't there, it's some new disaster in the world to get their attention. My brother disappeared, and no matter how much I search with Crystal, I can't find or sense him. My sister is in her own little love-life and rarely comes here, and my little sister stays with my mother at the castle.. As for me, I don't really like going there...I'm not a fan of all the royalty stuff...and even if i'm there, they are to busy to do anything. So I make the best of what I can on my own..without troubling anyone. No one has to worry about me.." Though in truth, all she wanted was her family to be together. To be a real family, but even she knew such things were just fairy tales like her books. "Don't worry about my family, okay? " Teresa said softly, giving a slight smile in hopes to calm her.. "The are wonderful...but this is the way things are. As I said, I've gotten used to this. "
"You don't want anything? Surly you have to drink and eat! " She was plenty human in her eyes! "....Yes, well.....What happens if you catch a cold? " She did notice her few out-of character moments, but didn't say anything about it. This was just Ein, wavering in and out of who she seemed to want to be..

Teresa's words hit her harshly. Only moments ago did Unisha step up to the porch, her footsteps so soft that they made barely any sound as she approached the front door. When she did, though..She had heard the conversation between Teresa and a girl she didn't quite know yet. Upon the shock of her words Unisha had frozen there, her hand at the door knob not moving. ".....This...is how she feels?" She asked herself careful to not let her daughter hear her thoughts. All this time she had thought Teresa just liked to be here, to be on her own. Independent but safe. There was no dangers here, hardly anyone knew of the little home in the forest or of the family that lived here. She knew Teresa wasn't to fond of all the royalty back in the castle which was even more reason she wanted to let her be if it meant she was happy. It turned out she was completely wrong on that part. All this time, Teresa was alone in this house wishing for her family to be here with her? Yeah. That made Unisha's heart break, and her confidence of being a good mother drop. It made sense, didn't it..She was not a good mother. Why else would Kaden and Madison be gone all the time? Aiko was growing quickly, and wanting to get out on her own a lot more as well, though that wish wasn't so granted. She was still young yet! And then there was Teresa who she thought she understood. Now it was simple, she didn't understand a single one of her children.......

Weeks had passed since the time at Northern Crater, one might think Terra's heart had healed some, though it didn't. How could it? She had gone from place to place since then, trying desperately to figure things out. Of course, she did go back to Balamb, though the one she was hoping to find there wasn't anywhere to be found. And so, she left. Now, Terra was sitting under a shaded tree, little did she know the forest she was relaxing in, was the very forest that Unisha and Jake had a home in. At least when they weren't back at the Kingdom of Serenity.
As she raised her head a little though, just to relax further against the tree, she noticed the top of what appeared to be the roof of a home. Great! Now she was invading someone's home, wasn't she? ..Though, curiosity got the best of her, who could possibly of lived there? "....."
Standing slowly, she gave a swift brush of her cape of any leaves and dirt, before heading toward the home...

"I am a God!"
There was insanity, which harbored a need to do then impossible, over and over again, only to expect a different result with each attempt. There was insanity, where those afflicted were simply driven to do the unthinkable with no real reason or rhyme. And then there was Kefka. He took insanity and he ate it. He ingested it, he chewed it for days, he swallowed it, only to regurgitate it and birth something entirely new. Kefka was far beyond insanity. Far beyond anything that could come close to such a thing.
But there were traits that were synonymous with such an affliction. For instance, he always followed Terra. Why? Who knew. He only knew that he wanted her power. She, alone, had withstood him. And on more than one occasion. She was, more than anything else, annoying. He would just have to kill her. After all, he had plans. Big plans. And, if she would not help him, he would destroy her.
He had tracked her all this way. And here she was, alone. Perfect. Ripe for the picking. At first she would hear nothing. Maybe even feel nothing. But soon, soon she would hear chuckling. She would feel his power. Who wouldn't. His insane power. The man was a god! No longer even on the same level of understanding as mere mortals. And he had power ...
That, more than anything, was what made him dangerous. He might be the king of insanity, but he had more power than anyone. None could stand up to his might. Those who tried failed. Who wouldn't?
He did not make a flashy appearance. He simply took a few steps away from a tree he was standing behind. This would bring him into Terra's view and hopefully stop her in her tracks. Provided she wasn't already frozen in fear. And, for the longest time he would just stand there.
After a bit, he took a step forward and talked. "Terra. It must be painful to know that you killed your father. It's a shame. It really seemed like you two had a connection. Something real. Almost ..." He feinted a tear and pretended to wipe it away. "Beautiful."
"I am all-powerful!!"

Terra had completely stopped, out of fear, but also of another kind of fear. She didn't want to get any closer to that house, should anyone be inside. The troubles she would bring them next would just...throw her over the limit had something happened. Staring into the tree's, she felt her heart racing. She could feel that power, the only one she possibly feared. Kefka's. Again.
How did he find her here? How was he tracking her?! "Why..." She began...as he stepped out of the tree's, her skin crawled. "Why do you always trouble me? Can't you just leave me alone?! "
Little did she know, the one inside the wolve residence had come out after sensing something. She had little power to do anything, but senses still seemed to work naturally to her. They may not of been as good, though. Teresa walked further, following the voices she was now beginning to hear when she too, stopped suddenly. What...was that? A clown? A twisted, horrific looking one at that. Quickly, she ducked behind a tree nearest to her, hoping no one had seen her.

"I am a God!"
"Now now, Terra. There's no need to get your panties all bunched up. I'm not here to fight. We both know how that would end. No no ..." He turned his head slightly, not wanting to give any indication that he could feel the one behind him. Magic beings, even those with little natural talent, were within his domain. The god of magic, after all, was among them.
He faced Terra again and made a few more advances in the form of steps towards her direction. "You see, I've taken the liberty of doing a little research since I had all the free time. I'm willing to cut you a deal. We both want something. And you need your want more than I need mine." He shrugged a bit and smiled. His lips twisting into a thin curl at the corners.
"Here let me lay it out for you. You and your friends are bad guys. It seems this world has taken to hunting you down and eliminating you when it sees fit. I find that incredible. However, I'll do nothing to help that cause. But, in return I want something from you."
By now his little grin was a full blown smile that was showing off his pearly whites and looking as evil as ever. Oh he was scheming away. He had a plan that would make all his other plans look puny in comparison. All he wanted was a little time to himself and possibly a little help. Maybe she would take the deal. "So what say you, Terra? I'll not kill you, or your little friends while this world considers you threats. And for me, you and your little friends stay out of my hair." He wanted time to find more of this Materia. To explore the Northern caves alone.
"Deal?"
"I am all-powerful!!"

Terra's eyes narrowed onto Kefka's own.Not only was he terrfying, but also the most irritating man on the planet. He wasn't here to fight? That could only mean more trouble in other ways. Sure enough, it seemed he was attempting to make some sort of deal with her.
Those lying smiles told her enough NOT to go along with his idea. Nothing from Kefka was ever a good idea, and in the end, it would only end up in someone's death. She was not stupid. "You really believe I would make any form of a deal with you? You truly are mad.." She said to him, still not yet moving. So long as he kept his distance, she wouldn't have to move away any further then she already was. "What ever it is you are planning, Myself and my friends will be there to stop it from happening....No matter what you do....I won't let you walk freely to do what you will! "
Teresa meanwhile, listened to the two from her shelter of a tree. It was only when she tried to get a better look of the lady, though, that she began to realize who it was. Though as for the creepy man, she had no idea who he was. Still, she remained silent. If something needed to be told to other's, she may be of help for once as the witness to Kefka's attempts to bribe Terra.

"Awwww..." He stepped back and held his arms out as if he was defeated. He shook his head a bit and then chuckled as he ;et his arms flop back to his side. "So be it, little girl. But know this, I found you here, I can find you anywhere. Alone." He looked over his shoulder a bit and then shrugged. "Well, almost alone."
He stood there for a moment and then his eyes took on a glare. He stared at Terra with an intent that spoke volumes. Slowly, his feet began to come off the ground. Higher, and higher. As he rose, he pointed at the Esper. "Hold this thought, child. One day there will come a day when you are forced to face this demon. Face me! And on that day, when all chains are thrown aside, one of us will not walk away from that ordeal."
He threw his arms wide and there was a flash of life. When the flash subsided, there was no longer the man that was Kefka. There was the God of Magic. A being so overflowing with power that it physically altered the body. Three sets of wings adorned the back that was now hovering above Terra. His voice was not the voice of Kefka, but the voice of a thousand souls. At least that's what it sounded like. "HEED THIS WARNING! I WILL SHOW NO MERCY ON YOU, OR ANYONE WHO STANDS IN MY WAY!"
There was one more flash of bright light and then there was nothing. Kefka, the demon he was, had gone.
"I am all-powerful!!"

Now wasn't the time to become curious and try to figure out why he said those words.Almost alone? She didn't see anyone else, then again..she wasn't paying much attention to anyone else but Kefka.
He began to rise into the air, he did this back in the cave as well, only moment before he disappeared. Suddenly, her fear wasn't quite so strongly. Kefka was repeating his threats. All talk, but no real actions to throw Terra off with. Unfortunately for him, his scare tactic wasn't working on her. She had seen this before, and expected a repeat of Kefka's failure.
Just as Kefka had morphed into his god form, Terra raised her attention to him. He may of looked terrifying, and defiantly intimidating to anyone else but Terra...wasn't quite so frightened anymore. "Then you will accept my gift, for your kind warning! " With that said, orbs of holy light suddenly shone from her, shooting out into Kefka's direction just before the God vanished. She had hoped they ended up hitting him where ever he appeared next!

Frisk  A ferocious roar would sound out from nearby the peaceful pond. It seemed there was a monster loose in the forest, and a large one if the sound was to be believed.
And large it was! At least as tall as the trees, looking like a hybrid of several different dinosaurs. Sakura's dream. Had anyone come to the scene, they would see it stood before a tiny, young girl with dark hair, who, contrary to what most might do, was completely calm and not running away. In fact, she was smiling at the monster.
She waved at the creature. "Hello..." She said, her voice soft and soothing. "You're so big. I bet you make all the other monsters jealous. Hee-hee, I happen to know a few monsters myself." The monster tilted its head, as if it were confused by the child's calm demeanor. "I bet you'd like them..." The monster lowered its face to the girl's, letting out a loud, terrifying roar. In response, the child stepped toward the monster, putting her arms around its head. Well, more like its face--her arms couldn't reach all the way around its head. It blinked. She was hugging it. "Shhh..." She smiled, stroking its head. "You're scary, but I bet you just want a friend.... I'll be your friend." She said softly. It lifted its head, as if to escape the child's grasp. The girl went up with it, still remaining completely calm. It let out a sort of whine, as if it had no idea what to do now. "Let's be friends..~" The girl said, almost as if she sensed its hesitation. Lowering its head, it set the girl back on the ground, licking her face. Which just ended up licking her entire upper body. The girl giggled, licking the monster back on its face. The monster almost seemed like it was blushing.
It was... ridiculously adorable.(( OoC: Anybody who may know who this character is from, which I imagine is most people, I consider the character's gender to be female, personally, so that's how I will play the character. Of course, anyone's opinion is as valid as mine! ))

 ___Ein Al___  "I can hear my name on the wind..." "And so here you are." Jake would hear a familiar voice as Ein made her way to the king of Serenity. He seemed to be working on the house. He glanced at her, before grunting in slight annoyance and going back to what he was doing. "...Not the worst greeting I've ever gotten, I suppose." She sighed."Do you need something." He asked flatly, less of a question and more of a demand."...Er, yes," She cleared her throat. She was nervous, which wasn't something that happened often with her. "Well, you see..." She sighed. "I... I'm looking forward to a day, after the Beast is done away with. A day where we'll all be at peace. And someday... someday a while from now... I..." She paused. "I think you have a more old-fashioned mindset, right? So I thought it would be appropriate to..." She paused again. "I love Teresa. I love her more than anything I've ever known. So I thought it would only be right to...""Get to the point." Jake said rudely."I want to have your daughter for the rest of my life." She said directly. "We're going to defeat the Beast. And after we do... I want to marry Teresa. I'm only asking for your blessing when the time does come...""..." Jake stopped what he was doing, turning to face Ein. "You'll never get my blessing until the day I die." He said seriously, crossing his arms. "And even after that. You don't seem to understand. You're just a phase Teresa is going through. You think that you're adequate for her? You're not. She's not... into women. She was just lonely, and you coerced her into a relationship.""I did not coerce her!" Ein said defensively. "She and I both agreed to be together. I didn't-""I don't care!" Jake shouted. "Teresa's not into your freaky crap. A woman should be with a man. I don't want girls with girls and guys with guys. It's disgusting! Madison and Teresa both are just confused. And once she realizes she doesn't want you, you'll be left behind in the dust where you belong. She should be with Ventus right now. And now that he's back, I bet she'll come to her senses soon enough.""You-! ..." Ein glared at the demon. "Your mindset is backwards. Love is love. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you're going to stop it. You can choose to accept it, or you'll just end up losing two of your daughters.""No," Jake's Devil Trigger activated. "I WON'T. You're the one who needs to forget what you're thinking. Now get OUT of my FACE.""Tch." Ein turned away. She could fight him, maybe even defeat him, but attacking Teresa's father likely wouldn't win her any points with the young princess. "Soon you'll see this isn't a phase. Teresa loves me...""No, she doesn't. She doesn't know what love is. She's too young. And this is something that will come and go, like the wind. Like you.""..." Ein began to leave the area quickly. She didn't want to stay and risk getting more offended and upset, otherwise she might act on her emotions and end up in a fight... (( OOC: ))
