Shock came over the Siren's face as Lucien told him the box was for him. It was unexpected and- "Bwuah but but-" He looked at the festive gift. It was Lucien's reward for fending off the beast! Bouncing foot to foot, the sire let out chrips and peeps of annoyance. How could he just accept such a thing? Really. What did he do with it? Sighing, head throbbing, he put the gift in his jacket.
"Lucyyyy~" He sounded like he was whining now. Because indeed, Israfel was whining. "Why are you so nice to me?" He hugged his friend from behind, earwings fluttered and wings encircled. It was a BIG siren hug. Well, bad as it could be given his small form.

Brushing aside the thoughts, Alcie tried to picture something happy, some place warm and far away from this place. When she was at school, it was easy for her to daydream and drift to some fantasy idealistic world but out here in this frozen wasteland, it was difficult to think of anything in particular.
Opening her eyes and looking at Junko, Alcie shook her head and responded, "Don't worry about it too much. At least you didn't get marked and you know now. Yes, that's basically the idea." Alcie didn't blame Junko for not knowing because that was outside the realm of common knowledge. Though many parents would make sure to tell their kids to avoid taking favors from a demon in general.
Alcie just realized that things had been rather quiet lately and there hadn't been too many toy attacks lately. She wasn't sure if that was a good or bad sign.. They could be grouping together and planning a massive attack or something. Those things hardly seemed intelligent enough to plan something like that but overestimating an opponent was better than underestimating them.

Tahki couldn't help but smile as Julian popped back into his natural form. The owl form on Julian was positively adorable. Though Tahki would never admit to that, she thought it for sure.
"Kweeraaawr," Tahki made a friendly noise to her demon friend to comfort him. Those pins seemed to be causing a lot of students trouble.

Sepheran had settled into following the group, sticking close to Petro's voice and making sure Liannan didn't lose sight of the boil. It wasn't until the basilisk felt a horrible deep dark hatred seething out of something that he made much a move at all. He didn't know where it came from, but he was sure it was from someone in the group, after all not JOYful beasts of any nature could produce this amount of hatred. Still...while this didn't scare him it did put him at a bit of unease. He would hate for a fight to break out in the group. Quickening his pace Sepheran moved to Petro's side for a bit of comfort.

When he heard someone speak to him, Christof stopped a moment, picking at the bandage on his leg as he turned. Oh. It was that guy. Pablo? Something like that. Scars from battle? What, this Pablo-horse-guy had never seen a patchwork before? Granted he had never seen... whatever it was this fellow was, but that was beside the point. He was feeling impatient from the whole ordeal, his movements stiff and quick and angry as his brows furrowed in a scowl over his scarf and he made a fist. With a noise through his nose and the back of his throat, he made a whine that was supposed to sound like a train's whistle. Almost. But not really. Then he tried a chugging noise as he made the fist go along and then threw his arms out with a growl of a crash and pointed to his leg. Did that answer his question? He hoped it did.
That done, he saw Julian's pack tumble to the snow, and stooped to heft it onto his hunched back over his large left arm beside his own, and carried forward, hoping the horseman was satisfied.
((ILU PETRO I SWEAR ;A; <3 Christof's just having a bad day. ))

If Riley had opened her eyes, the world would be tinged in red.
So she kept them closed, and tried to think of nicer things. Like.. no, not that. That would just confuse her more.
Turkeys. Ahh, yes. Turkeys.
Slowly she lulled herself into a fitful sleep, where she had dreams of chopping off the heads of Sin-headed turkeys.
((TENTING, PEACE OUT))

It was amusing to watch as Merope continuously tossed the wreath into the air, and on occasion, chasing after it. But the impression of Sandy Claws was even more so amusing to the doll. Muffling a small childish laugh with her hand, she let out a small sigh, as if relieved by his words. "I hope not." However, she could hear rumors going around the students. Something about a snow ninja or something? Whatever it was, it was weird.
Hoping the two were right, Mei stretched out her arms above her head, letting them fall behind her head and followed the two in a casual walk. "In any case, I hope we find something worth while from this trip. It would be great to take a souvenir back to my creator." Not to mention the stories to tell him!
All thoughts ceased as soon as the limb from the diseased toy came flying through the air, colliding with the leviathan boil. Unable to do anything but stare, she shifted her weight a little to look at the culprit.

Huni Pi ((ooc: d'awww, Christof ::gives him huuuugs:: )) Though Petro shook his head of the dizziness, the anticipation of an actual battle, one that wasn't a mere result of attracting JOYful creatures, kept the grin on his lips. He glanced back every now and again to make sure Seph kept up with them. He also hoped Astra would also manage to find them soon. Eventually his atention was drawn to the boil Lizzy had introduced from earlier. Christof, was it? Petro had never seen anyone like him before and couldn't help but stare in curiosity. Why was he hunched over like that? It certainly didn't look comfortable. With the obvious lack of tact (and knowledge of the patchwork's condition), Petro asked "Are all your scars n' stitches from battles?" ((ohcrapsorryIdidn'tseethispostmybad)) Since Astra was earth bound for the meantime as her wings thawed out, it took a little while for her to catch up to everyone else, but when she did it was quite a relief. She was getting tired of trampling through the snow like this. "Hello again!" She called out to the students again, jumping over a few tracks in the snow and..then disappearing entirely. Well not really. She had just fallen through the snow again, and a few seconds later her head popped through the snow, feelers twitching in irritation. She could see from her position another student whom seemed to injured was using sign language to to explain...something to pedro. She was having trouble figuring it out....Oh, wait, was he trying to be a train? "Oh, oh! it's a train crash!" she said. Yes, that was what he was trying to say, right?

Julian let out the closest thing to an exasperated sigh as he could. But Tahki was trying to comfort him, so he gave her the happiest face he could manage. And in all actuality, it only just made him look like he was confused and looking into a harsh light. But the twittering he added hopefully made it clear that he was trying to be appreciative.
He looked up, feathers fluffing a bit when Christof came over, but when the undead boil picked up his stuff, and felt a pang of... Well, he felt bad for being grumpy at Christof. He'd pulled on Tahki's ears, but he also seemed kind of simple-minded. He probably didn't even realize that might have hurt her. And Tahki wasn't bothered by it and Christof was helping with his stuff...
With a soft his of a sigh, he launched himself into the air, talons wrapped around his lights, flying in a circle around the group. If he didn't fly around, he'd either have to fly higher than he wanted or ahead of the rest of the group. And he wasn't about to lead the way.

"No buts," he said automatically. The gift was for him, period. Pleased to hear siren tuck the gift away, the sylph smiled a little while his back was turned to the siren. Good. He made a little chuckle upon hearing the siren chirp and peep just like a bird would. Just like his bird would.
"We're friends, aren't we?" He asked his own question in return. It was a perfectly good reason for giving someone something! Then the poor air elemental spirit froze, he was... he was being clung to from behind. Defenses rose as he was squeezed tightly and hugged. It wasn't a tree, no, no. It was worse than that. No, it wasn't even a pink elephant. Israfel. Israfel was hugging him from behind. He could only make a small 'eep' sound.

J.P. still didn't know what way to. He just look around for other while walking around. He yawn and wag his tail. He wonder what the other was doing. He began walking again.

[You know, I have no idea what Christof is trying to do there. xDD]
"R-Really?" Lizzy's face lit up as she slowly reached out a hand and gently ran her fingers through the Gryphon's soft pelt, as if afraid to hurt her. However, she soon started to pat Tahki like she was one of her Minipets, naturally and lovingly, realizing that she was far from being fragile. As expected, her fur was warm and comforting... She smiled, moving in to wrap her arms around her neck, burrowing her face in the Gryphon's fur for a short moment, taking comfort in having her friend around. She would stay there longer, but Julian was right - everyone is ready to move, and they should.
"Yup, lets get out of this place," She nodded at the boil - um, now owl again - as she straightened up from the hug; seems like quite the inconvenience, to not be able to turn at will... She allowed Amrita to have her time with Tahki as well, only taking her hand (it was becoming sort of a habit) and moving when the Undead ghoul was ready to. She took her place at the front, placing Amrita between herself and Tahki; after that short rest and much needed physical comfort, she felt that she was ready for the JOYful toys.
Let them come!

Amrita grinned as best as she could when Tahki lifted her head, patting her gently. Heeee...so soft. Sooo very soft. She had even leaned in to hug her friend as Lizzy had, nuzzling the warm body lightly. She barely noticed Julian's continued shifting, but even on a good day she wasn't incredibly observant; she did realize that there was an owl where a boy once was, though!
"Oh! Umm...Yes, m-moving!" She agreed, releasing her friend and stepping back, her hand slipping into Lizzy's grasp once more. Her gray gaze turned to look at the newer people in their group, the ones she didn't recognize at all. They were strangers to her, and they were trying to converse with Christof? She gazed at them, more specifically the gestures that the Hunchback made.
"Umm...H-His leg injury is from the crash he...he didn't, um, have it before then." She piped up helpfully, albeit sheepishly quiet. "Outside of that...he's a p-patchwork so, um, it's...normal?" She was pretty sure he was a patchwork, there wasn't any other explanation for the way he looked and the way he was able to temporarily fix himself.

Sin allowed Alcie to explain, she lapsed into silence already trying to figure out a subtle way to ask Riley about Junko. She couldn't just blurt out and ask her if she had meant to mark her. Maybe Riley had meant to mark her and she had just failed? It was possible what with all the JOY around them turning things wonky. If Riley had meant to mark Junko then Sin had to come up with a good reason why she shouldn't. Sin needed a good reason for wanting to protect a monster, and usually the only good reason was something akin to being territorial. Junko was her friend, so she felt protective of her, but to another demon having a monster friend would just be...well she couldn't say that.
She would just have to find some other way to word it, some way to discourage any of the demons from trying to touch her non-demon friends. Ugh when had she come to care for non-demons, and why did they have to be susceptible, gullible enough to be manipulated into being marked? What were demons doing marking other students anyway? The practice was a dangerous one, it should be better respected, not toyed with. Things like Reaper enslavement and Demonic favors were things she hadn't been expecting to have to deal with until she was older. Now she felt wary, perhaps others were already considering ways to gain power. She was going to have to step up her game if she wanted to stay in the competition. As soon as Alcie and she got back they would send out the invitations, Sin wanted to know who she was playing with.

Christof clapped his hands once in relief before gesturing out to Amrita with exasperated arms, nearly dropping his crutch. Oh, thank Fear someone was there to explain for him! He sagged, looking thoroughly grumpy about it all, but if he continued trying to rant to his new friends, he was sure they'd all get lost in the mad gesticulation.
((Master of charades he 'aint. XD Short quick reply just to clarify.))
