There it was, The village hidden in the clouds. That short cut really helped with time constraints, plus it made his stomach happy that it's get something to fill it soon. Takeshi looked over to Rissa who was finding Takeshi's stomach noises amusing. Takeshi smiled slightly and shook his head at the same time. He knew that it wasn't intentional, just something that happened. "Ok, follow me then" With that, Takeshi started to take off. He knew that Rissa would be behind him, so he didn't bother to worry about that. Unfortunately the streets were rather busy, matter of fact more busy then usual for this time of day. As the continued to move through the crowd, the spacing became tighter and tighter. He didn't know what was going on, the only clue that he was able to get was that a few new stores had opened up, and there was a special at another. It was just local competition in which made everyone come out. Everyone now was shoulder to shoulder, and he knew that using the rooftops wouldn't work ether. Thinking for a moment, Takeshi reached back and grabbed Rissa's hand. He continued to make his way through the crowd, guiding Rissa along with him.
Eventually they made it to the stop that he was talking about. It was empty due to the buzz about the other shops, and they couldn't afford having a sale. When the door opened the shop owner came out from the back to take a look. He was familiar with Takeshi, since he came here often. "Takeshi!, glad to see you." He then looked over to Rissa who came in after him, and noticed that Takeshi had her hand. "Oh, I see. Who is your lovely young lady? I say you found a good one." This confused Takeshi for a second as he looked back at Rissa. It was then he noticed that he was still holding her hand. Shocked, he quickly released it and looked over at the owner. "It's not what you think... The streets are way too crowed..." Takeshi face shifted to a full red blush as everything that the shop owner was starting to set in. The owner started to laugh and then guided the two to an empty table. Takeshi walked quietly over to the table and sat down, his face angled downwards as he tried to stop himself from blushing more. "Here's some menu's. I'll be back to get your order." The owner placed the menu's down and went to the back, he couldn't stop chuckling as this was the first time he'd ever seen Takeshi in this state. ((OOC:980 +93 +441 =1514 words))

Rissa nodded, following after him easily enough at first... Until they came across the confusing mass of people that were occupying the main streets today. She couldn't get out from the mass of sale goers to get to the roof top, and was very nearly lost in the crowd, until Takeshi caught hold of her hand. They continued like that to the food shop in question. It was startlingly empty compared to the hustle and bustle of the streets they had walked through. Rissa had been focused on glancing around the small shop, and had almost missed the shop owner's comment. Almost. She turned to glance at him, her own cheeks becoming a light shade of pink as she dropped Takesi's hand. “ It's not anything like that, Sir...” She said softly, following the two back to a table and taking a seat. Once the owner had moved on, she gave a bit of a smile to Takeshi. “ You okay...?" She asked, before opening up her menu. She had never seen her friend like this before, and she could understand why the shop owner had found it a bit amusing. Quote: 1127 + 189 + 441(int) = 1757

Once at the table, Takeshi started to use some breathing techniques to calm himself down. He was more then embarrassed, only because he this comment gave rise to the answer that he'd been asking when both Cruxis and Nagamichi were giving her so much attention that it seemed odd. He could see why they would think that way but it was the first time Takeshi had noticed anything of the sort about anyone in fact. His social skills weren't that great which give him no reason to look for what the shop owner was implying. Once his face became normal-ish, Takeshi looked back up and nodded. "Ya... I'm fine" In all honesty he wasn't 100% fine, but good enough to keep going as he was still overly embarrassed. "So... how are things between you the others? They seem to have an interest in you..." He was hoping to shift things off of what just happened, though he was sure then when the owner came back he'd poke and prod at it some more. ((OOC: 1514 + 189 + 173 = 1876 words))

Rissa waited for him to calm down first, nodding when he said he was fine. It didn't occur to her that he wasn't being very truthful. She was looking down at the menu, trying to decide what to order, when e asked a question of his own. " I.... I'm honestly not sure... They both seem to like me... And at the very least I see both of them as my friends. I'm just not sure how to go on from there...” She was bright red now, her gaze focused solely on her menu. After a few moments tough, she looked up. “ What do you suggest food wise...? I'm having trouble deciding on what to get.” She smiled a bit sheepishly, her blush fading just a bit. Finally, he was able to calm down fully. Still embarrassed by what was said, but good. It turned out though that Rissa was like him when this subject comes up to play. This was a good sign as he really didn't want to be even further embarrassed cuz this was something that shouldn't happen or something like that. Takeshi pondered on her comment. She seemed to be rather concerned about this issue, and he had no idea on how he could help. "Well... This isn't my area of expertice. Heck, I'm no-where close to knowing much about this acutally. But I can start to see why they have interest in you. Smart, and caring. Always looking after others before yourself. I can't see why those wouldn't be great characteristics for someone to become interested. And from what the shop keeper see's as well as both the others, you're quiet pretty. Again, I know very little about this subject but, listening to the stories of how my parents meet. You'll know who you like and how to move on from just being friends when your heart tells you." This was almost a direct quote from his mother. Takeshi's surviving family would rather see him settle down, and find a normal job rather then be a shinobi. Being a shinobi was the only thing he knew how to do though, so he was content on keeping this life-style. Sortly after though, Rissa asked about what she should have to eat. Looking over the menu for a moment, Takeshi shrugged his shoulders. "Well this shop specializes in it's stir fry, a healthier version of stir-fry anyways as they use very little fats and oils in their cooking, letting the freshness of their ingredients take over the flavor. It all depends on what you enjoy. They have beef, chicken, seafood, and pure vegetable stir-fry as well as some very basic home cooking as well." Takeshi smiled over at Rissa slightly and then looked back as he could hear the owner come back. "So... have you made a choice?" Takeshi nodded and ordered his usual with some green tea, and once Rissa ordered he'd leave to the back again to tell the cooks about what they both wanted. ((OOC: 1876 +126 +373 = 2375))

Of course Rissa couldn't help her blushing with how he spoke of her. She didn't often have someone speaking so highly of her, not since her mother had passed on anyways. She had forgotten ow good it felt to be complimented. “ Thank you Takeshi.... That means a lot to me.” Rissa smiled softly, more carefree then earlier now. Soon enough, the shop keeper had returned, asking for their order. “ I'd like your chicken stirfry please, with some jasmine tea.” She gave a light smile up at the shop keep , and then the man was off to go and get their orders to the chef. “ I wonder if Notwen Sensei is doing any better.... I hope he is. It must be dreadfully boring in that hospital of his.” She giggled, imagining their sensei wouldn't stay there if he had a chance to escape. Quote: 2056 + 143 + 373(int) = 2572

Takeshi noticed that Rissa started to blush as he stated what he'd just observed. He didn't understand why, but noticed her smiling after she thanked him. "You're welcome Rissa, glad to see you feeling better" and with that Takeshi smiled back. It was at this point in which the owner came and took their orders and then went back to the kitchen. Shortly after that, she started to talk about Notwen and how long he'd stay in the hospital. Takeshi thought about that for a moment, and then smirked. "You're probably right, he's not going to stay there long if no-one is watching him." Takeshi rolled his neck, he was kinda bored due to the mission that they did was slower then everything else he'd done in his life. While rolling his neck though, he noticed that the owner was speaking, and pointing to the both of them. He could see them both laugh and was curious on why. The cheif noticed that Takeshi had started looking over to the two of them and then pointed back in his direction. Takeshi looked back to Rissa, he wasn't sure exactly what they were talking about so he ignored them. "Well... it seems like we've become the center of a conversation we aren't even a part of..."

The young kunoichi giggled a bit as he agreed with her. “ I just ope he isn't causing too much trouble.” When Takeshi looked towards the owner and the chef, she followed suit, before turning back to him. “ What do you think they're saying...?” She asked curiously, gazing back towards the seemingly talkative pair. “ You don't think it has anything to do with the owner thinking we were together... do you?” Her face gained a tinge of red to it as she watched. “ Oh I hope not....” She closed her eyes, sighing a bit. "He'd only get in trouble when he returned, I can't see him doing anything too stupid..." he mentioned to Rissa's concern about their instructor getting into trouble. Takeshi didn't look back to the owner nor his cook, just shaking his head since he was sure that what Rissa was hoping they weren't talking about was actually their subject. Without saying anything, Takeshi stood up and headed towards the opening in which he could see and speak to the two. He called them over and started to speak to them, quietly enough that those two would be the only ones to hear. Soon though, he returned to Rissa and sat down across from her. "Sorry about that... it shouldn't be a problem any more. So, got any plans after the meal?"

Rissa blinked as she watched Takeshi go off to talk to the two older men. She couldn't quite hear what they were saying to each other, and in the end it didn't matter. Takeshi came back soon enough, and told her not to worry. She smiled, and nodded her thanks. “ Plans...? Well not really.... Why do you ask?” She tilted her head questioningly as she watched him. At this point, Rissa didn't care what she did, as long as she didn't have to go home just yet. She didn't want to go back home to her father just yet. Besides, she wanted to train a bit more, to expand her skills. Quote: 2880 + 111 + 130(int) = 3121

Notwen had finally convinced his teacher General Rai Oh to let him go with the promise that he wouldn't underestimate his capabilities in the future. Aside from a leftover migraine, the dark-skinned blonde was fine. After the General had given him his belongings, Notwen hopped up unto the window sill and leaped into the night. His time in the plain room had almost bored him to death, and he was ready to do something entertaining. Practicing my control over water doesn't sound too bad right about now... he thought, shifting his direction of travel seventy-five degrees to the right, which would take him to his apartment.

It seemed Rissa was grateful of what he'd done, which was nothing since it was bothering him as well as her. But then she asked him about why he was wondering about her plans for after the meal. "Well, firstly that so called 'mission' we did was boring beyond all beleif. That's just me though, but also you are still training in Taijutsu correct? I've got nothing planned so maybe I can help you with that some more? Sound like a good idea?" It was about this time though, in which the owner came over and placed their orders in front of them. "Here you are, hope everything is as good as expected." And with that, he left leaving the two with their food in the empty shop.

Rissa blinked, but nodded. “ Yeah, I was still working on it. Training some more would probably be a good idea.” She gave a little nervous laugh, before the food was set down before them. “ Thank you very much.” She smiled at the shop owner as he moved off on his own. The stirfry smell absolutely delicious, and Rissa couldn't help but sigh at the first bite. “ This is awesome.... I can't believe I've never heard of this place before.” Rissa smiled, taking a sip of her tea before looking over to Takeshi. “ Any place in particular you had in mind for training?” Quote: 3121 + 102 + 128(int) = 3351

taking a hold of his tea, Takeshi looked over to Rissa as she explained that she'd like training some more. He nodded and took a small sip of his tea, already use to the heat so there was no need to cool it down. "Glad you like it" He stated after she showed her appreciation for the food from here. "It's a small shop not apart of a chain like most shops around here so that's probably why you haven't heard of this place." Placing his tea down, Takeshi started to dig into his meal. Full of flavor and nutrients, this well definitely needed after the boring day he'd just been through. "As for a place, there really isn't any place in particular I have, but we can just go to the training grounds in the village. It's definitely suited for any type of training I throw at you." Takeshi continued to eat after explaining what was on his mind. He was eating rather quickly, not like a pig or anything, just in a fast pace as he'd unexpectedly missed a meal before hand and was on the hungry side.

 * * Asura Zahn * * Asura woke from his long sleep that he had, though it didn't even seem like he was waking up to the morning. The room he was in was nearly pitch black, except from the single ray of light that was able to shine its way through into the room from a small crack in the curtains and black paper that was covering the windows. But it didn't bother him, as he always woke up like this. He was so used to the dark, that it felt like a warming feeling whenever he was in it. Sitting up into the bed, Asura stretched a bit before reaching over onto his night stand and grabbing the extremely long scarfs that he had to wrap around his head. He took a few minutes making sure the wrapping was secured correctly on his head, and then feeling the rush of chakra in him, began to see black and white outlines of all the objects in his room. Basically for him, it was always dark, though the strange thing was that he could even see shadows, though they were more of a dull grey color against the blackness of the world. Getting out of bed, Asura walked over to his closet and opened the wooden doors, revealing the many clothes he had to wear. Being him though, most of the clothes in the closet was what he wore. First putting on his under shirt, then his white button shirt, then his red over coat. Next were his black pants, to which after he put on three pairs of socks, then his boots. After all that, he put on his white gloves and knew he was ready for the day. Walking outside, he could see several people wearing clothing more for the mild weather they were having. Many people of the village had always thought him weird for all the clothing, and he didn't care. As long as they kept their distance, then he didn't care. He hated other people, mainly because he had trust issues with people. To him, they were all liars and deceitful people. Seeing how he had all day, Asura decided to just walk around the village and make notes of all the escape routes he could take from his house if anything happened. Who knows, he might find something else to do, if he got bored enough. -------------------------------------------------- Post Words: [396] Total Words: [396]
