"She's never been one to be very forgiving. Side effect of her symbiote I suppose." Otto replied as he prepped the needle. "While I'm at it... I should probably warn you that the woman in charge doesn't like to keep anyone with masks on down here. You may wake up without it." he added. With that, he pulled back the edge of the man's collar and pulled back part of the mask to try and find a good place in his neck to inject the sedative.

"Thats a shame, here I thought we had trust." Edmond said before making his move. Edmond pulled both hands down sliding them perfectly out of the constraints. After which he grabbed Octavious' hand and plunged the syring into the man's own neck with sergical accuracy. He pressed down on the plunger and then pushed Otto backward so he could begin undoing the constraints on his ankles. He had planned to stay captive longer but he liked his mask exactly where it was.

Otto hissed out in pain as the needle was plunged into his neck. The surprise attack was just enough to catch the older man off guard, and keep him off guard. When the Count pushed him back, he was knocked into the metal desk. Knocking some of the surgical tools off the table. The box that he had sitting against the table beside the Count was also knocked off. The lit bounced open as it hit the floor. Thin green tendrils began to snake their way out from under the box. Very similar to the ones belonging to the Black Mercy plant that was wrapped around the woman strapped down to the other table. Otto tried to regain his composure as quickly as he could. It would take a few minutes for the chemicals to begin working. But they would be a very short few minutes. The man grimace and got to his feet again. "Bad move..."

Once his feet were free the Count looked at Otto. "Now why would you say that?" Edmond asked before grabbing the tray that had held all the surgical tools. He used the tray to hit the box with the tendrils towards Otto and then pointed at the plant on the girl next to him "If you want to wake up in one piece tell me how to get this off of her!" The Count ordered taking a few steps to the side in order to give himself reaction space.

Otto snarled a bit as the box was kicked towards him. Instinctively, he sat himself on the table and pulled his feet up and away from the floor. "Figure it out yourself." he growled. "Try to hurt it, it'll get angry. Try to wake her up, and she could end up fighting you."He wasn't about to just tell the boy how to get it off. He realized now that he'd already said far too much. Had he KNOWN that the restraints weren't on tight enough, he would have just waited for the others to arrive.

"Do you realize exactly what is at stake here for you? You don't know what I will cut off. It could be toes, fingers, anything. So last chance tell me or deal with the consequences." Edmond ordered again. He didn't have a bow but he did have his knife. Octavious had never searched him for it and he would use it to cut something if Octavious didn't tell him. "then again there are two of them here so I could just put one on you and cut your hands off..." The Count was not kind when he was interrogating from a position of power. He was cruel and had tactics Batman would consider a bit too violent.

Otto glared at the man, then turned his attention towards the Black Mercy plant that was beginning to escape from it's box. He didn't seem to be bothered by the other man's threat, and the sound of crunching metal that tore from the metal door likely revealed why. The heavily secured metal door began to crumple in the center, and the edges tore away from the wall. Soon the large metal slab was freed, and floating in the air. The Count only had a moment to react before the door was sent flying towards him. If it didn't hit him, it would make for a decent means of keeping him away while Otto's metal arms went about locking the plant back up in the box.

The Count turned his whole body to the right as he sidestepped the door sending it past him. "Oh do that again it will be very helpful when I try to get out." the Count said. It was mostly a lie, he did have a plan to get out but he was just mocking Otto. "Last chance." Edmond claimed. He knew what he would do if Otto passed out and other then tie him up nothing would happen. It did not matter to the Count if he freed the girl beside him it was only an added bonus it he could. He was not going to dissect a man for not helping. Edmond had not seen Otto but the plant back in the box but he had never really thought it mattered.

Otto growled to himself and muttered something under his breath as two of his arms went about trying to keep the black mercy plant contained within the metal box. If he were to pass out, he wanted to make sure the man couldn't do much with this one. "You'll have more to worry about soon enough." Otto said as he finally managed to close the lid on the creature. Then he looked up and past the metal door he was using as a temporary barrier between him and the Count. The look on his face made it clear that if the door didn't come sailing back towards the other man, Otto's metal arms would. He had a few moments to make it appear as though his vision wasn't becoming blurred. And a few moments was all the time he needed to rip the man's arms from his body.

"I am planning on it." The Count replied. He kept his attention divided on the arms and doors but it was not small task. He knew Otto would be fading and used that to his advantage. With sleepiness came slower reactions and that was all he needed. The Count burst forward with speed and leapt onto a table and from that onto the door. Then from there he leapt over Otto maintaining the same rapid speed. Edmond twisted his body so that if the arms did go of him they would only grab each other and when he hit the ground behind Otto he rolled back onto his feet and took a fighting stance. "Nap time." The Count mocked.

The arms did lunge for the Count. One arm kept clamped down onto the metal box the Black Mercy plant was contained inside. The other arm that had been accompanying it snapped upwards as the man lept onto the floating door. It barely missed him, and the two remaining metal arms lunged for the Count as he sailed over Otto. As the Count had expected, they missed him. But just barely. That didn't deter the older man for long though. With the one arm still on the box, Otto turned himself around to face Edmond. His other arms sailing towards the Count before he was fully turned. One arm was aimed for the man's abdomen, and the other two tried to block any paths the man might try to take to avoid the arm.

Edmond saw the arm as he was turning but could not react without having fully turned so he used what little time he had to complete the turn. The arms were fast, he could not hide that but he only needed to hold out for a little while longer. Besides he had always been a fan of dodge ball when he was younger. in the few seconds he saw them before taking action he noticed one was going directly towards him and the other two seemed to be blocking any way of countering. He could however not let the arms get to him. He could not slide under without risking being caught, and he could not go over them without definitely being caught. However the arms were only so long. He could back up until he was out of reach but that would put him close to the entrance to the other room and that was a risk. He knew Otto didn't have long but he only needed seconds to rip Edmond apart. So Edmond back petalled to the wall keeping his eyes on the arms. When he reached the wall he stopped and waited to see if they would reach. At least with his back on the wall he had a new advantage.

As he had hoped, the arms could only go so far. As Edmond's back came to the wall, the arms reached their limit and stopped. Each one snapped angrily at the air in front of the Count, but could do nothing until Octavius moved himself. Something the older man was not happy about. The reason being very clear when he began walking towards the Count. Controlled stumbling rather. He was walking in a straight line, but his feet seemed to be having trouble moving along the floor. Edmond only had a second to get out of the way as the arms began to regain the ability to move closer to him... but he now had another advantage. As much as Octavious tried to hide the fact that the drugs were beginning to set in. Numbness flowing throughout his limbs would soon make it impossible for him to keep up his 'poker face'.

Edmond noticed Otto's trouble and he played on it. The first step in his plan was to utilize the arms as a weapon against Octavious and it was a simple thing to do. He sidestepped the first one that snapped at him and grabbed it. Then he did the same with the second only he twisted it with the first. Then came the third and he followed the same method. Once he was holding all three, and struggling to do so at that, he looked over at Otto "Have a nice trip." Edmond mocked simply before pulling the arms with great force. The plan was simply to make Octavious trip. It was simple, but with the drug setting in, getting back up might not be.

The tactic worked, and Otto hit the ground hard. As a result of the drugs in his system, the older man was having trouble getting back up. This only made him angrier. When he became angrier, his arms tended to thrash wildly. They pulled, jerked, and thrashed to try and get themselves loose from the Count's grip. Once that was done, Otto would only need to decide if he were going to try to use the arms to get up, or tear the man limb from limb with what very little time he still had to be conscious.
