"Nickname, actually. One guy at the faculty always called me that. I think he said it was a character I reminded him of from a book by Anna... Mc-something. Whoever that is." Janis explained. Then she thought of that guy.... maybe she'd sick with Janis.

"A girl named Christy." Janis answered. "She was blind... well not really blind, she just didn't see like everyone else. It was amazing when she let me see through her eyes." She grinned at the memory.

Janis nodded, her smile gone. "Everyone ignored me. I remember in there heaed most of them said it was my fault they were there. Others just followed the crowd. I didn't understand why it was my fault then. I do now." She traced her figure on the floor around and around in circles keeping her head down. Her hair fell across her face, hiding her expression.
