{ // Cameron Riley Jones ♥ The Cheshire Cat. Cameron feigned innocence when Andee cast him an inquiring glance, mouthing 'what?' and tilted his head to the side, his grin wide. Oh, whatever could she be looking at him like that for, he thought, snorting to himself. He briefly wondered if Andee had even bothered to consider the condition the Wicked Queen was in. He doubted it, seeing as how the fairy had probably been too caught up in her excitement to invite them to have time to realize the state of Sierra's well-being.
So it came as a shock when Sierra took her up on her offer. He raised an eyebrow, having honestly not expected her to do such and was mentally preparing himself for the disappointment and self-pity that Andee would surely wallow in when she turned her down. Fortunately, she didn't, and for that he was thankful, considering for a moment if he should kneel before her to show his gratitude before deciding against it.
Instead, he regarded the Queen with a mock curtsy as a way of thanking her for saving him from the grief the blonde was bound to give him, holding the ends of his imaginary dress between his fingers and looked up at her with a grin. He straightened afterward, glancing to Andee, whom had a huge smile on her face.
His grin softened to a more genuine smile; he was glad that things were working out in her favor. He hated when her hopes were crushed, which was the main factor as to why he held so much antipathy towards being on damage control. That, and the fact that he wasn't really one to comfort others. He'd always been the one that needed comforting, not the other way around. But he would try, and while that usually failed, he figured it was the thought that counted.
His question in regards to whether Andee had thought twice about inviting Sierra was answered when her features contorted into an expression of self scolding, which more often than not meant she was mentally facepalming herself. He mostly knew that because he pulled the same face himself when he screwed up, like he had last night with Lilith. He shook his head at the thought of it.
However, Sierra came through once again, offering the boys the chance to wait on her while they were there to ease their minds. He grinned broadly; he liked her already. Martin agreed timidly after she'd brought that point to his attention, which probably sent Andee into hysterics. He was surprised she hadn't started squealing yet.
Marcel? Cameron found him to be rather reserved, much like Sierra - not really one for party environments. But what the hell. “Sure, it's cool,” he agreed with a shrug. It wasn't like the Devil would be causing him any problems, after all, so he may as well attend.
“It's going to be pret-ty kick a**.” he added, grinning. He'd make sure of it.

When Sierra thanked him and smiled, Ryan couldn't contain his own truly innocent and warm charming toothy grin. But when The woman corrected his use of she in regard to Pan The redhead did a double take, he glanced at Pol and noted the change of clothing and the extra shadow on her face, pigments? probably. He held no judgment, just a bit of confusion and w desperate hope to help. The poor kid probably needed someone . Peter Pan had friends, but not that many, and most were girls.
Ryan decided that he would try to get to know Pol better, to him him out with his transition, and to give him a bit of guidance if he could. When he was invited to go to a party he just about scoffed. No one invited HIM to parties, he was a nerd, a dork! Not once had he been invited to a get together that wasn't a study session.
"Oh. Um, I'd love to go! "
It was the truth too, the kid had always fancied himself a socialite... Or hoped to become one some day. He beamed at The fairy and then at Sierra. Escorting the woman would give him a reason to feel needed at the event and not like like a square peg trying to fit in a round hole. Once the devil came into conversation Ryan excused himself from the table. He looked to Marty and spoke quietly.
"I'll go talk to him, see you later big guy."
And with that the ginger was walking straight towards the little trans-guy who was now awkwardly trying to walk to the red queen. Ryan knew how that was, he should probably step in, get Pol out before he dug himself into a hole and drowned in his own words. Ryan walked up to stand beside Pol and tapped him on the shoulder lightly.
"Hey, Pol? Can I talk to you... in the hall?"
They had spoken only a couple times before, but never as friends and this was a tad odd, but Ryan pulled stuff like this every now and again so it wasn't completely out of bounds.

Pol gave a little smile and looked down at his hands. She was an odd duck, but that was fine, they all had their problems, some more then others. Lilith... that was a cute name, was her nick name Lill? Lily? It was hard to know but she was already kind of annoyed at him so he should play it safe.
"Pretty name, matches your eyes. I like your shoes by the way, what are those... Vans?"
Pol knew his way around a pair of lifestyle Vans. He dropped his wide smile and took up a more appropriately sized little one. The kid leaned back into his seat, not wanting to make the girl feel that she needed to sit on the edge of hers any more.
"Are you all right... I didn't mean to crowd you like that..."
Pol closed his mouth then opened it again as if to speak but he could think of nothing to say, nothing that wouldn't be offensive or worrisome, just as he was about to find an excuse to leave someone tapped his shoulder... Ryan? What was Ryan doing here now? Who cared! Pol got up and looked to Lill giving an apologetic smile.
"Be right with you Ryan, Sorry Lilith, see you later, okay?"
The boy shrugged and walked out into the hall with Ryan. The redhead stopped a few yards outside the door and leaned against the wall taking a breath and looking Pol over with a critical eye. The shorter boy leaned against the wall beside Ryan and looked up at him confused.

Now Got your tummy all in knots No way I don’t need no pillow talk No, no You’re gonna need a new compass To follow me now I’m gone Hey Tell me are you in or are you out Give you something to talk about On the edge of doubt
Lilith Cosette Petran The Red Queen Lilith didn't refrain from sending a glare Andee's way after the fairy laughed at her falling. Though the glare didn't stay very long on her face. No, she had worse things on her mind. Like the fact that Cam had made her sit next to some one who obviously couldn't take a hint. Well, Cam didn't make her sit there, but still. She felt better having someone to blame it on.
She barely heard the conversation between Andee and Cameron. Instead, she was focusing on eating her breakfast quickly so she could get away. Wait? A party? She was invited. No offense to the tiny girl, but Lil wasn't one for parties. So, she'd do her best to get out of going to that one. However, Lil knew that it would be difficult to do so, seeing as Cam was a co-host. He wouldn't miss a chance to drag her along.
Lil sighed, not looking up from her food. Great. More awkward social interaction. Just then, Cam and Andee left the table, causing Lil to look up at their retreating figures. She almost gave Cam a look that said 'please, don't leave me here..', but she didn't. Instead, she bit her lip at his sentence and turned back to her food.
Then, Pan continued to talk to her. Might as well try to be pleasant. "Yup...I'm wearing Vans..." She replied, casting a small glance at the guy. At least he had leaned back and decided not to crowd her anymore. Lilith had also decided to ignore the compliment on her name and eyes, for it was kinda odd. "I'm fine, Pol...I'm just not very social..." She admitted with a small smile. "And, if Lilith is too long for you..Lil is just fine..." she explained before Ryan called Pan's attention.
Lilith almost wanted to kiss the red-head. She wouldn't have, but still. The kid was almost as socially awkward as she was, yet he was taking Pol away. That meant she was free! "See ya, Pol..." She stated before standing up and grabbing the rest of her food and her drink. Time to get out of that dang cafeteria. She walked over to Cam, setting her hand on his shoulder. "I'm gettin out of here...See ya..." With that, she gave a wave to Andee, Sierra, Martin, and Cam. Next thing, she was out roaming the halls.

"Um.. Pol, I just wanted to talk to you about your Transition..."
Ryan looked down at his feet then gestured for the kid to walk with him and the started going down the hall together chatting. Well, Ryan was talking and Pol listened, they walked side by side.
"I know that it must be difficult for you, and a lot of people might not quite understand... and I apologize for them myself, but I want you to know that I support you. Okay? If you need anything... Advice, clothing, or even just someone to talk to, you can always come to me. "
Ryan reached out to tussle the boy's hair and smile down at him. Sure, Ryan wasn't much of a man, and Pol wasn't much of a boy, but at least he was trying to be there for the kid, to help him along, that's more then Pol's supposed friends were doing. Andee just seemed upset, and Ayden only wanted him to blend in. Ryan... A guy he hardly knew just approached him and started talking. That was great. Ryan was on the awesome list for sure now.
As they continued to walk Ryan lean the kid back to his room and opened the door revealing a neat organized plain room. He let Pol in and left the door open, not wanting to seem ashamed or anything to have the kid seen with him. Without a work Ryan opened his closet door and started taking out dress shirts and clothing he didn't wear much. Pol probably didn't have much to wear right then. And they wore about the same size. Well, Ryan was taller, but he was a very skinny young man.
"Do you prefer button up or Tee shirts Pol?"
Ryan smirked and set a stack of each on the bed, he would send both back with the boy, but it was pleasant conversation to talk about clothing.

{ // Cameron Riley Jones ♥ The Cheshire Cat. Cameron blinked and turned to look at Lilith from over his shoulder when she placed her hand upon it to bid him goodbye. He pursed his lips as he weighed his options; he could stay and play nice with Sierra, Marty, and any potential party attendees that Andee would want to invite, which meant he would be dragged along further into the tedious task, or he could leave without looking like a total jerkwad to slink after Lilith, who would undoubtedly provide him with more entertainment than he was receiving at the moment. Decisions, decisions...
“Later, Tink,” he kissed the blonde on her forehead and pulled away with a grin. “Do tell me about all the fun I'm going to miss.” he remarked, tossing a lazy wave in her direction as he strode after the Red Queen. Sure, he felt a twinge of guilt for abandoning Andee, but she'd get over herself eventually. Besides, he didn't mean to leave her, per se, just the situation she'd put him in.
Anyway, he had to make up for leaving Lilith alone with Pan, even if it was for only a few minutes. Surely it would be far more rude to let her go without redeeming himself than for him to stay with Andee, who was particularly talented in navigating social affairs, in which Lilith severely lacked. Tink would be fine; she'd get the chance to take out any annoyance she held towards him later in drama class, anyway.
Cameron peered outside the door of the cafeteria, spying Lilith making her way down the hallway. He sauntered up to her and encircled her waist with his arm, grinning at her.
“Sorry for leaving you like that,” he chirped in a manner reminiscent to that of a condescending tone. He was hardly apologetic; however, the thought of Pol attempting to put his moves – or, lack thereof, he thought smugly – on Lilith made something in the pit of his stomach stir. He couldn't quite put his finger on what exactly had come over him, but he had a good idea as to why he felt the way he did. His grasp on her tightened a bit and he turned to face forward because his eye was doing that odd twitchy thing again.
Oh, yes, he had a very good idea of what it may be, but he refused to let himself acknowledge it. No, that would only end in him being ridiculed for even daring to consider to harbor unrequited feelings towards the Queen. While he was a firm believer in love, he was an even stricter believer of putting one’s self before anyone else. She was way out of his league – there was no way that she would ever reciprocate what he may have felt for her. There was no need for him to wear his heart on his sleeve only to have it stepped on. Never mind that 'anything is possible' crap he'd spouted last night so confidently. It was not going to happen.
He heaved a sigh under his breath, repressing any further thoughts on the matter. Whatever, Cam, brush it off. Either way, he wasn't going to let Pan think he'd be able to get Lilith so easily, oh no. He'd worked a damn long time to get to where he was, and he wasn't going to let some fairy wannabe ruin it.

Lilith Cosette Petran The Red Queen Lilith still had some of her breakfast in hand, but she had decided to wait to finish it until she found somewhere she'd like to sit. Lil had made her way down the main hall. She figured she'd head towards her first class. However, like she should have known, Cam came up behind her and wrapped an arm around her waist.
He 'apologized' for leaving her at the table. She rolled her eyes at that statement. Lil managed to glance up and catch his grin. Like usual, that cheshire grin was present. She quickly turned her gaze to where she was walking. She was enough of a klutz as it was, she didn't need to be distracted while walking.
As she continued on her way to class, she felt his grasp around her tighten a bit, and she raised an eyebrow at that. It was odd, to say the least. But, all the Wonderland kids were odd. So, she didn't think to terribly much about it. Though, she did get bugged by his silence.
It wasn't like him to be too quiet. So, she wondered how long it could last. Despite the quiet, she found his arm around he to be a bit comforting. Wait? No, that couldn't be. She was used to it, so it was probably due to the fact she was used to it that it felt 'comforting'. Yeah, that was it. When he sighed, she turned to look at him.
"What's the matter, cat got your tongue?" She asked with a small smirk of her own. It wasn't long before she added a small laugh, but it was funny. After all, Cam was the Cheshire Cat. "And, don't be sorry about leaving me...You should be sorry for making me sit there in the first place..." She noted. She didn't expect him to be around all the time, no. She did expect him, however, not to force her into awkward situations.
Though, that was likely never to happen. He liked making her uncomfortable far too much. "I hope I can get out of going to the party without Andee being upset with me...I don't really have anything to wear, and I'd rather stay in my room and read, or play chess..." She explained, hoping to get him to accept the fact that she didn't want to go. Hopefully he wouldn't make her.

See, I know she loves you I understand I probably be just as crazy about you If you were my own man Maybe next lifetime Possibly Until then old friend Your secret is safe with me
Andromeda Fae Bearie Tinkerbell Andee rolled her eyes as Cam curtsied to Sierra. Not like it was wrong for him to do so, she was royalty after all. No, she rolled her eyes because girls were supposed to curtsy, boys were supposed to bow. Duh, Cam. Though, she had to agree with him on that one point. It was going to be pretty kick-azz.
Before too long, Ryan agreed to coming as well. She gave the ginger a bright smile. She figured that since he was coming, his 'sister' would come as well. Andee wasn't too sure of how the goddess of chastity would act at a party. Either the girl would be really crazy or a total party pooper. Andee hoped for the first. That way things would stay fun.
With that, Ryan was gone and Lil had appeared. She had placed her hand on Cam's shoulder and told them all good-bye. Eh, she wasn't that much fun anyways. However, Andee started the mental countdown. 5...4...3...Cam had kissed Andee on the forehead and with a departing sentence, he was off. 2...1...He was out of the cafeteria. Dang him!
Seriously, he was supposed to be her best friend, not that uptight Red Queen. Andee sighed. Oh well, she'd get him back in Drama. The more she thought about those two, she figured there must be another reason for Cam wanting to spend so much time with her. Seriously, it didn't make sense unless it was one of two things. One: Cam liked picking on her and loved her insults. Or two: He liked her, but didn't admit it or realize it. She'd have to bring that up with him later.
Since she was left alone now (Pan had ran off with Ryan) Andee took a seat at the table with Martin and Sierra. She gave each of them a smile. "So, I hope you got a decent night's rest...We were up late last night.."

{ // Cameron Riley Jones ♥ The Cheshire Cat. Cameron raised an eyebrow, a trace of a frown lining his lips as he returned to reality, only to find that Lilith was going on about some thing or another. He blinked, his mind having a few technical difficulties with processing what surely must have been a witty remark; it had been far too busy filing away his inner turmoil and setting fire to the evidence of it ever existing to be expected to conjure a response immediately. Once he had run her words around his head a few dozen times, he finally recovered his snarky demeanor. Oh, so now the cat had gotten his tongue?
“Don't be absurd,” he scoffed snidely, reflecting her smirk. He mentally cringed as she laughed; he may have deluded himself into believing that he held nothing towards her, but that didn't mean that he didn't. After all, no matter how much something burns, ashes will always remain.
However, he would bury them, even if it was only for a while. He couldn't let her suspect a thing, and he refused to think about what may happen if she begun to. He was happy with things as they were, being with her like this – why should he throw that away?
A part of him apparently found all this quite humorous, seeing as how it was laughing at him spitefully, commenting on how he was kidding himself; he would just have to admit that he was possibly madly in love with her and deal with the consequences. Who was he trying to fool?
Another part, this one more stubborn, denied the first vehemently; he was most certainly not falling in love with her. All he had to base his knowledge on what was clearly a trivial emotion were those silly romance novels that he stayed up too late reading. They had filled his head with silly nonsense, and his sleep deprived brain had fabricated his feelings for her. He was delusional, he didn't actually know anything about love.
The first merely chuckled at the others' ignorance.
Cameron's jaw worked subconsciously; it really was a bother, being mad – it was dreadfully inconvenient, what with the constant distractions, while in the middle of a conversation, no less! He simply offered a soft laugh to signify he was paying attention, and that he was entirely remorseless for dragging her there in the first place. Really, what did she expect?
He grinned impishly, his previous woes completely forgotten. “It's cute how you think you're getting out of it so easily,” he purred. Nothing to wear his a** – he'd seen her closet before. She wouldn't be getting away with that miserable excuse.

ooooooooooooo M a r t i n oooooooooooooooooooooooooo C h e v a l i e r Marty was more than a bit nervous about the party but also excited. It would be his first ever party! Well, he would probably be a wallflower there...so long as Sierra didn't overdo it. The Beast couldn't be sure about the serious looking girl - she seemed to either be a "party hard" kind of girl or a plain wallflower. For his sake, he hoped wallflower.
For Martin's part, he hoped for crazy party girl.
Ryan left the table and Marty nodded in understanding. Apollo was a pretty cool guy and he was never the kind to get into fights...he might be able to find out about Pol. Hey, maybe if Pol would stop being angry with him, Marty could hang with the sexually confused kid. Maybe. Probably not. Pol was too energetic for the timid boy's taste. But if Ryan could get himself another friend out this extremely trying time for Pan, all the better for the god. He just wanted his friend to be happy.
Who what wait now? Andee had just sat down and said something really weird. "We were? Really? Did I do anything embarrassing? Oh God, I did, didn't I? I'm so sorry if I did anything untoward or made either of you uncomfortable oh goodness I must have done something bad if neither of you are talking is there anything I can--" "Marty?" He turned to look at the smirking face. "Yeah Sierra?" "It's okay. You didn't do anything embarrassing when it concerned the two of us." "Oh. Okay." Well that was a relief! "And we couldn't get a word in edgewise with your rambling." Oops.
"Uh sorry about that...I kinda ramble when I'm nervous." He chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of his head. But now he wanted to know what exactly the three of them did. However, if he asked, he was afraid he'd get called a freak for not remembering...'sides, Sierra said she'd tell him about it later. So he supposed he could wait.
Well at least he hadn't embarrassed himself in front of the two girls last night. Sierra was pretty cool if a bit quiet (but so was he so he couldn't really whine about that) and Andee was an awesome girl. However, both of them were way out of his league. If he got caught staring at Andee, he'd blush and turn away. The fairy was such a confident girl and he...well he was anything but confident. No way would she talk to a wimp like him. And now he was having breakfast with two confident ladies! Today was turning into an awesome day.

Lilith Cosette Petran The Red Queen Lilith didn't really think that she was being absurd. No, she was just pointing out the fact that he had been unusually quiet. Something that she truly didn't like. No matter what her outward expression might be, Cam being quiet was just too odd for her.
Now, at least she hadn't been rude about it. She could have commented on how nice it was that he had finally learned to keep that mouth of his shut for more than ten seconds. However, she wouldn't do that. For, truthfully, she didn't like his bouts of silence. It meant that there was something on his mind. Something that was causing him to concentrate. Cam was supposed to be upbeat and obnoxious. Not quiet.
Therefore, the Red Queen was glad when he finally responded to her. That meant that he was finishing up whatever his mind had been pondering. It also meant that he was about to start being his usual upbeat self, forcing her into more awkward situations. Which, in a small way, she was greatful for. Once again, something she'd probably never admit.
Crap. She knew he wouldn't let her get out of the party that easily. Oh well, it was worth a shot. She sighed as she quickly came to terms with the fact that she would be going to his and Andee's party. It couldn't be that bad, after all. Plus, if she did anything stupid, she could just blame it on the alcohol that was bound to be there.
"Cam, I'm no good at social functions. You know that damn well..." She stated, knowing it wouldn't make him change his mind. "So, you're just going to have to make sure I look appropriate for the event...After all, I don't really ever get invited to parties..." Which was true. Though, her character did attend one. The party that Queen Alice threw, and at the end of that particular party, the Red Queen turned into a cat.
Needless to say, it wouldn't be very fun to play out. At least she was only a figment of a little girls dream, and after that she could go about her life. Her king barely even had a role, so, she wouldn't have to worry about a man throwing himself at her. Which was all fine and dandy with Lil. Though, in a way, she was a bit sad that Cam's story with Alice didn't link with hers. Andromeda Fae Bearie Tinkerbell Andee had absently begun playing with a bit of her hair as she waited for a response from the both of them. She wasn't completely tired, no, just a bit. After all, the little fairy wasn't entirely that much of a morning person. Though, if she got too tired, she could always take a leaf out of Cam's book and take a small cat nap to keep her going.
However, it wasn't long until Marty began rambling, obviously a bit nervous. Andee smiled brightly and laughed a little. Come on, it was hard not to. Marty was just being too cute as he rambled on. Though, Sierra was able to get the poor boy to stop his rapid speech. She also informed him that there was nothing to worry about, which there wasn't. Well, there was, but not concerning herself and Sierra.
Andee figured Sierra would tell Martin about Pol and his petty revenge. She just hoped she could be there to prevent anything from actually happening. Pol wasn't thinking right. Whether it was because of the hormonal imbalances or something else, she just needed to take a chill pill for the moment. Andee truly hoped that the party might help Pol relax. It seemed just the thing that Pan needed.
"Yeah, Martin. Sierra pretty much hit the nail on the head. You didn't embarass yourself...At least, not in my eyes. Oh, and don't feel bad about rambling. I tend to do the same thing when I talk about something I'm excited or passionate about. Just ask Sierra. I apologised last night for talking ninety miles per hour..." She stated, nearly as fast as Marty had talked just a moment ago.
Yuppers, Andee usually talked fast. It was probably something she would never change. Which was fine by her, she liked being upbeat. It seemed as if you had more time that way. It might not make much sense to anyone else, but it made sense to Tink.
"Oh, and I'm excited about the party...Finally, some time to show off my dancin skillz! Seriously...I've been dancing since I was a toddler, and Ever After can't even give me a dance class. It sucks, really, but I'm still awesome. I'm just really glad that you guys are coming...I'll have to invite more at lunch...I'm pretty sure we could get a good turnout...seeing as there isn't much to do here on the weekends anyways..." She babbled on. There was no doubt that Andee was a talker. Though, the small girl could be quiet when necessary. She didn't like to remain quiet for long, but she could, honest.

{ // Cameron Riley Jones ♥ The Cheshire Cat. Cameron supposed that, in Lilith's defense, it was odd for him to keep his trap shut for more than two seconds. He had a sharp tongue and often times was able to respond with a sarcastic remark automatically, so his lapses into silence were a cause for concern, as they should be.
Being quiet meant depriving himself of making any smart a** comments, which was perhaps the greatest pleasure he took in life. He didn't really find her observation absurd, it was more so the fact that someone such as herself stated it that he found strange.
He smirked as she sighed; she was accepting her inevitable fate. He was dragging her to the party, and that was final. She could try to deny it all she wanted, but it would only be a waste of breath. A fleeting thought of his own denial and what a waste of effort it was passed through his mind, but only for a moment. No, he couldn't get sidetracked again, not now.
That would lead to questions as to why he was being such a space case today, which in turn would lead to a cryptic answer, which would cause over thinking of said answer, and would finally result in realization. He couldn't just not answer, as that would only increase the process tenfold. So he would simply avoid putting himself in to such a dreadful position altogether.
Cameron snorted as she started to explain that he knew damn well that she didn't do well with others. No s**t, who did she think he was? Pol? Puh-lease. Yes, he was well aware of this fact, but he couldn't see why she felt the need to state it. He wasn't budging on the matter, despite what she may say to get out of it. Though, it was true that she wasn't invited to parties – probably due to nobody wanting to have her at one – and she was likely clueless as to what the proper attire may be. His lips slowly curled into a grin and his eyes lit up, vaguely recalling a few outfits that were hung towards the back of her closet, as if they'd been shoved away like she wanted to forget she owned them.
“I got it covered,” he assured her, chortling under his breath. She'd probably refuse to leave the confines of her room after she found out what he planned to force her to wear. “Don't worry about it.” he added at her expense, smirking mischievously.

Now Got your tummy all in knots No way I don’t need no pillow talk No, no You’re gonna need a new compass To follow me now I’m gone Hey Tell me are you in or are you out Give you something to talk about On the edge of doubt
Lilith Cosette Petran The Red Queen Lilith couldn't help but notice that he was still being unusually quiet. It was odd, and it was beginning to worry her. Cam was supposed to talk so she didn't have to. His lack of speech meant that he was either just out of it for the day, due to a lack of sleep. Or, there was actually something on that brain of his that required more thought than his usual witty retorts. That in itself was scary.
What would require Cam to focus that much that he didn't talk? Lil shook her head. No, he must just be a tad bit sleepier than normal. Yeah, that was it. She glanced up at him. Of course he would be smirking at her. He knew that she had given in easily about the whole party thing. She knew he would have found some way to drag her out against her will if she had been resolutely against it.
In a way, she kind of wanted to go. Hence the reason behind her not putting up a terrible fuss about the whole ordeal. She supposed it would be fun to watch others act like complete idiots while intoxicated. She'd definitely get a good laugh at another's expense. That was something she didn't mind. However, she knew it would come back to bite her in the rear, for Lilith was sure that Cam would force her into awkward predicaments that others would laugh at. So it was all fair, really.
Oh, crap! That smirk of his turned into a full Cheshire grin, eyes lighting up and all. She instantly regretted suggesting that he could help her pick out her attire for the event. A horrible knot formed in her stomach, and she knew it wouldn't go away for awhile. Yeah, he had it covered, sure. She was screwed. The look was most likely readable across her face. "Every time you say 'Don't worry' in some form or another, I can't help but do the exact opposite....."
It was true. It was hard for her not to worry when Cam was involved. He always liked to push the envelope with her. If he was dressing her, it was bound to end badly. Well, for her at least. Yeah, she'd probably look alright, but she'd be so freakin' self conscious that she wouldn't be able to think of anything else.
With that thought, her feet had successfully guided her to her classroom. She entered and found her seat at the back of the room after detaching herself from Cam. Her face fell a smidge at that, but not enough to be noticed. She didn't even notice herself. . Make you fall like domino Oh baby boy Make you fall like domino You don’t have a choice From LA to New York I don’t want a trail of hearts Play you like a game tonight Watch you fall down, down, down just like… Dominos

{ // Cameron Riley Jones ♥ The Cheshire Cat. Cameron looked on in amusement as Lilith's expression changed from that of apathy to one that clearly conveyed the feeling of 'oh s**t', a laugh bubbling inside him escaping from his lips. He put a hand over his crooked smirk in a menial attempt of subsiding his laughter, his eyebrows drawing together with the effort. He simply could not contain himself, it was far too humorous for her to respond in such a manner.
However, all jokes aside, she should be a bit apprehensive as to what he would have store for her come time for the party. There was no way he would be able to properly avenge his poor, defenseless head of hair without her being dressed to kill; that is, necks would turn so fast to catch a glimpse of her that they'd all but snap in half.
She wouldn't be dressed in some thrown together eyesore to cause such a reaction, oh no – she was walking in on his arm, after all, and he was shamefully picky about the appearance of those hanging from his limbs. No, he would make sure she was of the jaw dropping caliber, uncomfortably so. Not only would she be too showy to possibly be ignored, he would also be able to oh so subtly throw it in Pol's face. As far as Cam was concerned, Pan could go stick that in his juice box and suck it.
Vain? Terribly much so. Petty? Right again! Though, he knew Lilith secretly wanted to go, even if she would never admit it. If she didn't, she'd be more liable to fighting tooth and nail in order to get out of it, and perhaps if she did so he'd eventually give up.
His recently recovered composure nearly cracked at the thought of it. Ha! He wasn't the type of person to give up, whether she'd make it all the more challenging for him or not. It was just as well, however; she'd inadvertently entwined their lives together the moment she stepped foot into the Academy a year ago, and she was hopelessly stuck with him until he was to graduate, no if's, and's or but's. There was no getting rid of him until then, and he smirked at that fact.
He paused in front of Lilith's classroom, grabbing her hand as he did so and twirled her around to face him. He kissed her nose and pulled away with a teasing grin, releasing her hand from his grip.
“See ya later, Lili,” he said cheerfully, taking note of the way her face fell slightly as she entered the room. It was hardly discernible, but he had noticed it as if it were clear as day.
He arched an eyebrow, debating on whether he should press the matter further or not as he stood in the doorway, deciding he may as well go along with the principal. It wasn't as if he had anything better to do; he wasn't going back to the cafeteria, and it wasn't time for class to start yet, so what the hell.
He waltzed up to her, sliding into the seat next to her, leaning forward on the desk. He propped his head up with his hand, looking at her as if he were bored, drawling innocently, "So, what's with the face...?"
