Rei didn't want to meet his gaze, in case he was angry with her. She moved to the side of him, putting her hand over the knife as it rest on the ground. "S..Sorry." She said in a very awkward tone.

Leon managed to speak after a few minutes. "For w...what?" He asked in a shakey voice still... He looked at her, but he was now smiling, still shell shocked.

Rei smiled back at him with a small smile. "I...well, that was a bit, um..odd." She said, becoming nervous from his tone of voice, turning her gaze away still blushing.

"I liked it..." He blushed and sat up finally, looking her in the eyes, still kinda disconnected from his mind.

Rei met his gaze unintentionally, smiling back to him. "You're not angry with me, are you?" She gripped the dirt under her hands with her fingertips.

Leon laughed. ""Not at all... jsut suprised..." His voice trailed off as he looked away slightly. He chuckled slightly, to himself.

Rei smiled reassuringly at him. "I didn't plan on it, but...it was the first thing that came to mind." She tipped her head up, looking at the sky slightly out the corner of her eye.

Leon smiled and pulled her into a hug. He rested his chin on her shoulder and sighed ahppily.

Rei hugged him back with a smile. "If you promise not to use it, I'll give you your knife back." She slid it along the ground toward him.

Rei lightly grabbed his wrist as he reached for it with her other hand. "That's the only way you're getting it back." She gave him a serious blank expression.

Leon frowned. "Keep it. I guess I'll use whatever is around me. I cant lose control anymore now that I have something worht keeping safe so I'm not taking chances."

Rei took the knife in her hand with a firm grip. "Then whenever you stab yourself, I'll do the same." She frowned at him for being stubborn.

Leon's eyes went wide with anger. "No! You will not! Don't you dare! I'm stabbing myself so I will be in control and not hurt you, if I cause you pain..." His voice trailed off.

Rei glared at him with an empty stare. "And I'm trying to prove a point, when you stab yourself, it hurts to watch. That's why I'm trying to give you an alternative route to control it." She moved her hands back to her sides just looking at him, unwavering.
