Her head tilted as she gazed up at the female who sat before her as she smiled, "I'm Loki." Her gaze went past the oddly colored female to the large wolf that lay beside the brown spotted female. She took in his size and tilted her head. "Who is that? He's so big! But he looks as soft hearted as a sheep."
Her eyes closed slowly as memories washed over her. The memory of a black, white and tannish brown collie that raised her rushed into her senses. She remembered the warm days of lay with the collie in the sun and chasing the sheep. Then having to hide as the human came out to award the dog. Jezzabell was the collies name, the one who fed her and protected her from the cold world. She had to leave though when the human found her. He locked her in the house and she was stuck inside before Jez helped her escape.
Pain was a thorn in her heart as she remembered saying goodbye to her before she traveled to this forest. She opened her eyes and shook herself as she then perked her ears, a yelp resounding from about the clearing. "Someone's in trouble." Loki muttered absently, "And she needs help!"

Kora watched Zuri pad away. The female had been somewhat annoying and a bit useless, but that didn't make her unwanted. This pack- as she liked to think of it- was not connected and kept together by Light, but by Darkness. A smoky, stifling Darkness that they all had to unite against to defeat.
She ran after the pink female, easily surpassing by far the pace Zuri had left at. Kora wanted her to stay, even if she didn't really know her. She was walking near the Spirit River, wondering where the she-wolf could have possibly gone, when the thought hit her, fearing the worst. Instantly the brown she-wolf was at the river's edge, looking dreadfully down.
There she was- a flailing mass of pink fur, fighting hopelessly in the water. "HELP! ZURI NEEDS HELP!" Kora cried as loud as she could, praying that the wolves in the clearing could hear her. Running as fast as she could along the bank to keep up with Zuri, she said loudly, "Try to push yourself towards the rocks! They may be your only chance! Stop flailing- it will only help to drag you under in the end! Paddle the water intead- imagine that you are trying to push yourself foward and up!"

Faiyrn needed to think so she walked back along the water's edge and soon as she neared the Forest she heard Kora calling for help, panic swept through her and she wondered what was wrong with her daughter, and then she heard her call for aid for Zuri. She wasn't certain who that was, but she was one of their pack, she was one of their wolves and she mattered. She saw the pink form in the water and terror gripped her. She couldn't let another Wolf go the way of Acuil. She called out, "Don't thrash, just stay calm and float, I'm coming!" and in a moment of bravery she was in the water and paddling to the female. Her paws spread and scooped at the water, propelling her forward and soon she was beside the female.
She grabbed hold of the Female's scruff and moved towards the side of the river and towards the bank. "Crm rn Zri" [Come on Zuri] she murmured around the female's scruff, her claws digging roughly into the hard rock of the riverbed and pushing forward, growls and snarls of determination escaping her as she pushed the female over the rocks and onto land. Her breathing was heavy and labored and her muscles were tired and beginning to burn with excursion. She whimpered and tried to push herself up and out of the water and a snarl ripped from her as she slipped. She grabbed a tree root in her teeth and pulled herself closer to the bank and slowly she clambered out of the water. She pulled Zuri further away from the water and to dry land. "Honey... be more careful... please... I don't think I could do that twice..." she panted, collapsing for a moment to catch her breath.
She realized she had fallen behind the males she had snuck away from and swore softly. "Zuri Dear, you picked a bad time to fall into the river, but I'm so glad I was here in time to find you." she picked up the unconscious female by the scruff of the neck and pulled her up and over her shoulders so the female was draped over her back and she started walking quickly towards the Clearing. "Come on Kora! There's an announcement to be made and we need to get back pronto." stepping into the clearing, laden with the weight of Zuri and the water. She was drenched and still dripping water as she laid Zuri in the grass among the wolves in the clearing.

Prince walked the rest of the way over to the pup and gave him a small lick between the ears. "That is very true Kitsch. I am Prince." He looked down at the way the pup was built, it was purily Flyer but Kitsch was way to skinny. Prince's ears twitched as he heard some commotion back towards the rest of the pack. "Shall we join the other wolves and get you something to eat?." The adolescent said with a little of a worried expression, he nosed Kitsch in front of him gently before padding towards the pack. Prince made it to the clearing and saw that one of the Femmes had fallen into the water but was rescued by Faiyrn. He thought of how caring the she-wolf was and how kind before he bounded over to the three wolves and a. . .turtle. Prince looked back a Kitsch and beckoned for him to come over. "Is everyone ok?" The gold adolescent asked frantically. ((EDITED))

While the pup was looking away Lilliana decided to slip away and that's what she did. Now was the time she wanted to leave away from the commotion, it scared her and though she wanted to help the wolves who went to save another she didn't want to get caught up under anyone. When Fairyn rushed forth after she heard Kora's cry for help he did too. The poor turtle cursed at him for his long bounds before he stopped at the edge and set Oghren down. Watching with fear in his eyes, A'cuil had already been washed downstream by the river another wolf would not suffer the same fate. Digging into ground he went over to her and Zuri, "Are you both ok?" He didn't know Zuri very well but although she looked scared, she looked fine. He licked Fairyn's cheek and then looked at Kora, relief in his eyes.

Lysander padded his way through the forest. It had been several days since he was injured from one of those creatures that come from the Darkness, his left back leg throbbing a bit with each step. He had not been able to see clearly what the creature was but being defeated by it had made him angry at its existence.
"I will rip them all to death" He muttered as he remembered when his family was attacked by them and how his sister was still missing. Frustrated with the thought of what could be happening to her at this very instance, he growled and sat down to survey his surroundings. He had put a lot of distance between himself and the Darkness creature but even so he still peered through the trees to make sure there was none of them lurking around here. Establishing that he was in fact alone in this little area, he stared at the 4 long claw marks that were on his back leg. Luckily they had finally closed up to where he wasn't in any risk of infection but they still were really tender to the touch. Sighing he decided it wasn't safe to stick around here very much longer and continued onward before something found him.
Walking a bit, he smelled and could hear the sound of rushing water of a river as well as yelling from beyond the trees. With his ears perked up, he crouched low to the ground and crawled underneath a large bush to see what was on the other side. Blinking he saw that they were wolves. One seemed to have fallen in the river and was just saved another. Curious, he watched a bit to establish whether these wolves could be friend or foe until his leg bothered him so much that he had to back out from under his bush. Thinking, he listened in on the wolves and moved to where they wouldn't be able to smell him, and whispered very quietly. "Man... How to get out of this one. Wolves in front of me.. Darkness from the way I come."

Icarus had taken a different path from Lake Lux back to the pack, letting Faiyrn go her own way. The match had gone so fast after such a delayed beginning. The result had been an even match, even. He had taken her down, but she brought him down with her. Faiyrn was strong enough to lead the second pack. It was a relief to him, but a part of him still hurt. Her leaving to make the other pack would mean he wouldn't see much of his "older sister" in life. Icarus took a deep breath. This decision was what was best for his pack. Dividing them up may seem harsh, but it was better done before too many bonds were created to be severed. This would mean the thoughts of all wolves would be heard and cared for. He walked with even, measured steps. Deep in thought. It was then the name of his pack came to him.
"Dawn-Fire." He muttered under his breath. Icarus grinned as the name seemed to represent the group. The bright, heat wielding wolf and his pack would be the fiery force coming out of the dawn of the new wolves. The packs of old would be forever remembered, and honored by this new pack. They were the Dawn against the Darkness. A satisfied grin overcame him and he started striding towards the clearing. He had already discussed it with the Alpha mates, Fairyn and Andragos that they would take the East Forest, the green on the other side of the Spirit River that cut through the Serinn Forest. The side that he and his pack were already on would be renamed the West Forest.
The Alpha Warrior bounded through the forest, closing the remaining distance between he and his pack. Icarus walked into the clearing with is head held high. He peered at the wolves for a moment, he regarded Faiyrn for a moment, noting her wet appearance. A bark tore through him, commanding the attention of the entire gathering. "Wolves! I bring news!" Icarus called, finding the voice of a leader from deep within.
A wolfish grin overcame him and he barked out, "Those who are with me are part of the Dawn-Fire Pack of the West Forest." He said, hinting at the announcement to come next. "And, we are to have a second pack. As you know, this group is large, massive, and as a leader, I cannot listen to each of you individually. To prevent such neglect, Fairyn and Andragos are creating a new pack." He took a breath of pause, allowing the information to sink in.
"I have the utmost respect for them, and I know that Faiyrn is more than able to carry the responsibilities of the second pack. They will be making the East Side of the forest -that over the side of Spirit River- their home. Lake Lux will remain unclaimed and be treated as neutral territory between the packs, serving as a place to mix." Icarus said, finishing with a huff. He turned his gaze to Faiyrn to finish the announcement, leaving details to her.

She looked at Icarus and felt nervous for a moment. She blinked and wondered how they were all taking this. She smiled at Icarus and nodded slowly, all fear leaving her. She could do this. "Thank you, Icarus..." Faiyrn stood and stepped forward. "Friends... this day I come before you and tel you that Andragos and I will lead a pack..." she paused and looked among them.
"A pack of wolves that stand among you. We will be a neighboring pack, and we will be a peaceful one. Tell me, which of you will come forth to follow Andragos and Myself, which of you will become a part of the Storm-Keeper pack? I look on at all of you and feel joy in my heart for you are wolves of packs past and you are the hearts and souls of the packs to come...starting today." she smiled softly and sat, her gaze warm and welcoming as she waited for the first few to come forth.

The purple and gold male gazed at the female who wished to create another pack. He knew he had a promise to keep to Icarus and knew he couldn't leave. Turning to face Icarus he bowed his head. "I will keep my promise and remain with you." Paden then lay down on the right side of the clearing.
The lime green and black she-wolf stepped forward and gazed from Fairyn to Icarus before she bowed her head. She never thought to be in a pack herself and the thought frightened her. She held a strong bond with Icarus and still felt indebted to him. Taki walked over and sat beside Paden.
A cold smile on his lips Departed gazed from the clearing then glanced around. "Icarus you intruige me and you will make a fine leader. But I choose the female's pack." Turning he padded beside Fairyn and stood, his chill following him as he watched them with his dark eyes.

Prince looked around at the other wolves to see which ones would step forward. He looked up at Faiyrn and took a tentative step forward. "I will join your pack, Faiyrn." The adolescent said in almost a whisper. Prince looked back at Kitsch again. The pup was old enough to understand and make his own decision. He nodded to Icarus before walking the rest of the way to Faiyrn and sitting on his haunches a little behind the fae.

The shadowy male hid along the shadows of the trees, his gaze resting on the lime green and black warrior, Taki. He felt a smile form on his lips as he glanced down, twitching his ears as a shadowy trendil snaked from the shadows of the trees beside Taki, as it caressed her paw. "My goddess..." he whispered to himself.

Lysander listened attentively to the conversation that was passing between wolf to wolf that was up the river from him as more and more of them showed up. Sighing, he was thinking it was best to inch away before he was spotted. "Dangerous looking lot... Especially the ones with power.." He stared at the ones that were gifted and backed up a bit, wincing as a bit of thorns caught and wrapped around his injured leg.
"Damn.." He growled softly and tried to chew off what was clung to him, careful to make the least amount of noise as possible. Finally he freed himself and jumped away from it, knocking into a tree that just happened to have a large loose branch that fell down from it. Hearing it crash through branches and brush he froze where he was, his heart racing a bit. Not good... he thought.
