Named Rotary. Giving the name always helps

Regarding earlier question
kRO server is a 3/3/2 server, sakray was 100/100/50 last time I checked. Though I think it's more like 100/150/50 now. sweatdrop Suffice to say that the leveling goes much faster. Additionally after you reach level 99/50 you have the option of going "high". Which allows you to access the more advanced secondary classes, as well as jobbing to 70 and base leveling past 99. The downside? You start at level 1 again as a Novice High.
xp

...which one do I use to get on? Because I mostly can't read korean.
You use the ProjectRO.exe to get on and select ProjectRO Sakray instead of kRO.
...do I have to register again? -still can't read korean crying -
Mine's in English... and yes. sweatdrop

For the Sakray crowd.

Due to an amazing lack of input on the matter, I have taken it upon myself to decide what to put my forging skill points into. I have level three (which allows forging of level 1,2,3, and 4 weapons) in Dagger, Mace, and One hand sword. I have level 1 in knuckle. I wrote off spear, axe, and two handed sword for supply reasons, which brings me to the second point here.

Unless large amounts of steel and/or coal start finding their ways to me soon or people help me with the collection process, you're all gonna have to supply ALL the supplies for any forging you want done. All the way down to the hammers. It seems that few mobs drop coal, most of those do so rarely, and many are either so far below my level that it is mind numbing tedium to go after them or in zones that I can't go into without a guide, or more levels and equipment... things I'm forgoing to get supplies that will increase my forging percentages.

If you guys want elemental forged s**t, you're gonna have to help me. Otherwise I'll make a beeline for advanced and skip crafting to make my whitesmith a total battlesmith rather than a support build.
I can grab you some coal while I'm picking off Giearths in search of elven ears. I've also got some of the elemental stuff.

I suggest going to the coal mines for your stuff. sweatdrop

1> Don't know where the coal mines are. People need to help me here, but every time I ask questions about things like this in game I get ignored. If I can get an answer, people manage to get my a** killed repeatedly with shitty directions in uberly dangerous areas rather than taking five minutes from their race for max to aid me. I don't have hide or heal or protection spells.

2> Not an amazing amount of drops there that benefit me besides the coal, which really benefits the guild.

3> The best steel maps in the game are in the desert, fighting steel chons... most weapons worth forging mean having about 40-50 steel, and that's assuming I don't fail and lose ingredients. Would you like to spend hours doing that? That means that since tons of things drop iron and iron ore I should look into getting coal, since I can actually get xp while fighting Best coal drop in the game I know of is 2%. I need a lot of coal. That means extended periods of time. If I'm working my a** off to make s**t for everyone, I expect help. Why the ******** should I level like molasses to craft for everyone when others are busy powerleveling their advanced classes.

3.5> Still, almost everything that drops coal or steel reliably is s**t xp compared to what I could be doing.

4> Sometimes I could use a tank or healer. My only protection comes from decent agi and good vit. I could mammo the ******** out of everything, but heavy potion use and the huge layout for a good anvil mean bankruptcy on that route.

5> Remember that evening that me and Nabs powerleveled you for something to the tune of 4 or 5 hours? Thanks for getting my back. I really liked getting guided through Glastheim to certain death... twice. It was educational. I'd be more familiar with the zone if I got to see more than two maps of stuff able to kill me slowly enough to show that a healer or tank would certainly have netted me rapid advancement. At least the second time I died I had the satisfaction of seeing some nice loot next to my corpse and knowing I had some nice xp on my meter.

6> I have decent skills, but since many of my skill/stat points are for forging/battle hybrid rather than straight battle, combat mean money, lots. A fight gone bad for a smith means death or more zeny expenditure than any other non-merchant class in a week. Mammonite litterally means throwing money at monsters til they die. Many of the skills that I do have are field support skills, which mean s**t when your guild seems allergic to being on the same map as you.

7> I have assloads of the elemental stuff. It is one of the things that drops like a ******** when you buy the Ore Discovery skill, one of more than 20 build points spent to help the guild by supplying elemental weapons. It increases the drops of elemental geme, ore, iron, and steel somewhat.... however it does nothing for coal drops or making the harvesting xp worthwhile/entertaining.

Long story very short. People are gonna have to either make me want to smith for them, or supply their own s**t. I suggest them going to the coal mines should the second option become necessary. I'll probably be slaving away in the bottom floors of the clock tower, on my way to advanced and battlesmithdom, since support is worthless when people don't want to join you.

Is iRO Sakray the same as kRO Sakray? Meaning, if I wander around long enough, would I be able to find you guys?

What the heck do I use a Red Blood for?

Nope. You're on a different server. PM shoujo for the details.

Red blood use depends on your class. For a merchant you can use it to make fire hearts which can be used to make fire weapons. If you're a sage (and maybe wizzie) you need it for certains spells. Archers with the create arrow skill can use each to make 2000 eek fire arrows (pretty nice when you consider that red bloods weigh 10 units while arrows weigh 1 each)... Other classes might be able to use em, but I'm not sure.

Stuff
Look. I'm sorry I got you killed in GH. I'm still relatively new to RO. My information is based on the time I've played, plus a couple of sites. I've never played a merchant/smith before so I'm completely unfamiliar with their capabilities. Keep in mind that I just started playing RO a couple of weeks ago. If I remember correctly, around the time you were trying to get to Shouj and I, I was trying my best not to get my a** kicked by a Dark Illusion.

Secondly, just tell me when you want to party. The ONLY way I can level my priest is through party leeching and healbombing. She has pretty much no combat abilities whatsoever. I'm readily amenable to helping out others. Other than that GH issue and fetching the blue gems, I really haven't seen you talk all that much on the Sakray server. So I'm sorry for being offline when you were asking for partying up and I'm sorry that I got your a** raped by some unknown monster while I was busy trying to keep mine and Shouj's from getting raped.

As to the parts
I currently have 6 pieces of Coal, and 13 pieces of steel, and a crapload of Oridecon.

As a sidenote, I'll be on but AFK for about 30 minutes. If you want to party after I finish doing some chores, PM me or tell me on guild talk.

EDIT:Back now.

I've been playing a few days longer than you, and without anyone bringing me anywhere. The only thing I have over you infowise is that I read several guides for the different classes before choosing one. You also might want to take to mind that you seem to have far more time to spend online than I do... meaning you have more experience here now.

As for the GH debacle, I'm annoyed about two things: that you guys couldn't be bothered to come get me; and that I got gacked. Had I been actually notified of the scuffle by either of you, I would have stayed next to the zone warp, thus avoiding the danger. I would have happily sat at the zone for some time for either people to come to me or for it to be safe for directions. Instead I got fed to a sky petit and then something in the monestary.

I have made my desires to join parties clear in the past, when people were organizing parties... specifically while they were talking about going. I was ignored. And no, I wasn't on all or party chat, I checked several times to make sure I was on guild chat, and offered that I could help carry potions/supplies in, ID items, cart the loot out, get top Z for it, and assist on the kills. Every time, ignored.

Then when I state bluntly that I need help if people want elemental gear, I get glibly told to go to a dungeon I can't find. Hence my irritation.

Forget about them. Unless people do some serious convincing otherwise, I'm only forging a few maces for myself as I blaze for level 99. Then I'm going pure combat. The only crafting I'll take is crystal refining and what's needed to get gold nugget, coin, and auto-attack system.

Talking while fighting for my life eats precious time that could be used to drink potions. The other thing is that GH is weird. Most of my encounters in GH have involved me being attacked by poison spores/mysts on the way to the monastery and generally nothing on the way to the churchyard. I may have been following in someone's wake each time, given the GH is one of the favorite places to train acolytes or not. I don't know. I've never seen a sky petite in GH in my entire time online. sweatdrop

I'm still willing to back you up with my priest should you wish the assistance. If not, I'll be in Juno with my 'sin making my own trek.

You said specifically that it was you and shouj. Neither said s**t, not even random letters.

The petit was when you sent me east from the port point, into one of the geffen fields.

if anyone would like to go kill hoppy things, and maybe some sohees, with me I'll be at the main entrance to the Payon Dungeon for about 15 mins. ^_^ On the main kRO server, of course... where all the cool kids play. xd
