Okay, I lied. When I posted yesterday, I said I probably wouldn't be joining any teams, but I actually decided to join Team Prostate. Since, well, given I'm a male, it's probably the type of cancer I'm most likely to get... if any. Melanoma would be, but I'm hardly ever out in the sun, so. :P

I Noticed You Guys Dont Have A Team For Gastric Cancer. And I Would Have Liked To Join That Since My Beloved Grandmother Died Of Gastric Cancer.

My mother recently had breast cancer and it was the most horrifying ordeal I have ever been through. I can't begin to imagine what it was like for her... So, I try to do everything I can to raise awareness, because I don't want anyone to go through it.

My mom had breast cancer too...and then a year later her friend got it! Thanks so much Gaia for having this! Spread cancer awareness!

sign me up! i lost my grandmother to lung cancer that spread to her brain, it was so fast progressing, i didnt even know she was dying until after she died. emo i think thats the best emote that shows how i feel >.<

I'm really impressed by the idea for this. My sister has leukamia and I'm having difficulty coming to grips with it, especially since my aunt has had breast cancer for a while. Thanks so much for putting this up! It really made my day. razz
